Years ago, a monstrous beast called Goura ravaged the lands. It felt hatred and hatred alone, wanting to destroy every single person that tried to control it. The beast had been tried to control numerous times, but eventually a young man defeated and sealed the monster. The man, known to have a peculiar ability, died while sealing the beast and is now known as a hero. His child, a young girl, lived to grow strong and healthy as a summoner.

Now, almost 17 years later, a summoner has cracked the seal that holds Goura prisoner, wanting to control it as so many before him. Now you must decide; will you stand and join the fight alongside your Guardian Beast or will you tremble in fear as the village you grew up in perishes...?

Rules:
-No GM, PP, etc. All forum rules apply ^^
-Please stay active and reply as often as you can.
-This rp plays out in an alternate universe. There are no cellphones, but for example Mechanoids can communicate with eachother over long distances. There are also no high-tech weapons, but swords and spears and hand brace things to fight with ^^. There are how-ever, modern day accessories and clothing.
-No mary-sues or gary- whatever it was please x3
-Please use good grammar and spelling (no it's not bad if you don't, I'm Dutch myself so I know how it feels)
-There is no limit on characters, but please only make as much as you can handle.
-You can make a separate form for your Guardian Beast, but you may also describe how you meet in the actual rp.
-Enjoy ^^

Summoning:
Every summoner can make a bond with one creature and make it it's Guardian Beast.
A summoning can only be preformed by a summoner, somebody that knows his true name.
Once a bond has been forged, nothing can break it until one of you (the summoner and the Guardian Beast) die.
A summon can also be performed with a summon crystal, but with this it is unsure which beast you summon.
A bond, or verbal agreement, can also be made between a Stray Summon (a summon who's owner died or parted or left them) and a normal villager.
A summon has one specialty, which is the element they use to aid their master in battle. I can make an exception in the case of predetermined characters or requests, as long as you don't break the powerplay-rule.
There are four classes of creatures that can be summoned, three of which can be used to make a bond with.
They are:
-Beasts - Beasts or half beasts that can speak and have a human intellect.
Beasts are usually more beast-like, though having (in some cases) a slightly human appearance. They have stronger senses and instincts than normal humans or other summons, but this often holds them back too.
-Humanoids - Humanoid creatures that have the features of other creatures, but contain a complete human intellect. Humanoids are often faster and more agile than other summons and humans, but their emotions and intellect sometimes causes them to act on a whim or over think things.
-Mechanoids - Mechanoids are machine summons and are very smart. Often the most unreliable summons, not many summoners make a bond with them. They are among the toughest and sturdiest of summons, but rely on cold logic to make decisions and counter their masters orders with logical facts.
-Phantoms/Spirits - Phantoms and Spirits cannot be bonded with through a ritual or summoning as they are merely energy and do not have a solid form. Spirits are usually bullies or little a annoying, but can be a great help in finding stuff or treasure. If you get them to agree with you that is.....

Appearance: Mina has long black and red hair, which reaches to about her thighs. She has blue eyes and a slightly pale skin. She often wears black jeans with a black tank-top, spiked belts crossed around her waist, chains hanging from her jeans and black heels. She also wears leather, fingerless gloves (also with spikes on them), a spiked choker around her neck and a long, black, leather coat. Mina has a pierced belly-button and tongue and has a tattoo on her chest.
Personality: Mina is pretty distant and seems cold, but this is only because she is lonely. Having no real family and living in a small shack she is often secluded and feels gloomy.

Job: Hunter/Assassin
Expertise: Fighting - Stealth - Survival - Hunting - Agility - Speed.
Weapon of choice: A scythe - A pair of double blades - A whip
History: Her mother died giving birth to her and her father died sealing Goura into what they now call Goura's Gate, a massive ruin near the village. She was raised by her father's best friend, but decided to live alone when she was 15. Further history will be explained in the rp.

Extra: She wears a memento of her father on the choker around her neck. It's a gem shaped like a crescent moon, which can control the use of the ability her father passed on to her.

Appearance: Zero has multiple forms as he is what humans call a Nephillim, half angel and half demon.
He has the ability to transform his appearance into 4 forms without changing his abilities or demeanor in any way. The four forms are;

Personality: He's quite a flirt and likes to embarrass his Master. Even so he is quite devoted to her and very protective.

Personality: Yraxi is very defiant, calculating and cold, as her species normally are.

Job: None really.
History: Yraxi killed her owner about 4 years ago, when she didn't agree with her orders. Continueing to travel by herself, the summon had no real meaning anymore. Having spend 9 years with her owner had caused her owners energy to merge into her system. She continues to roam the lands and villages.
Extra: Yraxi controls the power of darkness and shadows. Her owner's energy had fused with Yraxi before she died and merged with her system. At times the previous owner can take over Yraxi's body, which then automatically shapes to a somewhat younger form of the woman, who was named Black. Yraxi's tail, however, remains at all times.

Personality: He uses his charming looks to fool people and has a quite playfull demeanor, though wanting to revive Goura and use his power to control the world.

History: She is the embodiment of corruption. She has been spreading her power for ages, but recently was summoned by a summoner who figured out her name. She killed him and awaited her brother to be summoned, which has quite recently happened.
Extra: She has no element, but her corruption shows itself in the shape of black, purple and pink-ish mists.

Personality: He is quite cold and uncaring, but can be quite taunting and playful at times. He enjoys watching his victims die, but awaits a summoner worthy of ordering him.

Job: Spreading disease.
History: Practically the same as his sister. He was recently summoned and they were reunited.
Extra: He has no real element, but wields his disease in the form of critters (flies, rats, etc.) and a black mass.

I also want to join, but I have a question. When you say the summons can use an element, what does that mean? Is it a regular "fire ice water" thing, or can it be something else. Cause my idea for a summon is one that can turn into various metal objects.

No, everything is allowed. Your character can, for instance, be a demon with the ability to use poisonous attacks. It really foesn't matter. I find weird powers very fun ^^
