Came up with a couple of good ones for a couple of pokemon I picked up today during The ShelterStorm (Shelter Explosion, Validation Population Acceleration, whatever). Bonus points to anyone who gets the secret reference in the last line of Bennett's description.

Species: Abra
Gender: Male
Description: Bennett is very proud of the fact that he's a master chess player. He can play up to ten games of chess at a time, teleporting his way down rows of chessboards, and can even play chess while asleep... which he often does.

His attempts to teach the residents of The Pokemon Palace how to play chess haven't been very successful, due to lack of interest or plain lack of skill on the part of his students. But he's grateful that Sonata, Donovan, Cecil, and Hannu are always willing to play against him when they can, even if they're all novices.

He claims Pete Martell taught him everything he knows.



Edit: And now for some not self advertising! Returning clicks after midnight is good for you! Especially since I just discovered vaiya, someone who clicks me daily, has recently begun doing descriptions and some of them are pretty dang hilarious!

That would be EmberGryphon! She's one of the people I read every single day just for their HIGH-LARIOUS descriptions -- I also, like EVERYONE ELSE ON THE FACE OF THIS FORUM, love Irk Splee! (WHO DOESN'T LOVE IRK SPLEE I MEAN HONESTLY)

But I'm showcasing two of my absolute favorite descriptions ever, written by my good friend Daner, since she just doesn't get enough attention despite being the wittiest person I know--

Pyroclasm the Entei:
Entei, one of the great deities of fire, born of the volcano and trailing an inferno wherever he races...quite the inspiring image, isn't it? Unfortunately, Pyroclasm isn't precisely the brightest Entei to ever tumble out of the volcano. His hobbies include playing fetch with a Spheal (as the ball), chewing on rocks, and drooling all over Daner's head. Needless to say, she does not appreciate this.

Beebee is not creatively named: his name is short for Beach Ball. But it's a good thing that he has such a calm, easygoing nature. Otherwise he probably wouldn't take so well to being fetched and slobbered on day in and day out by a doofus Entei, since rolling just can't get him away fast enough to avoid that inevitable capture and retrieval. As it is, he doesn't seem to mind being drenched in drool all day; at least it gives him something to pretend to swim in.
