what was the first shiney pokemon you ever found/got? talk about it here.

(this does NOT include getting the Red Gyarados from G/S/C (or any other pokemon game)
or using any kind of sytem to cheat or hack your way into getting a shiney.)

my first shiney i ever found in the wild was a Pidgey.
i also got a purple drowzee from a friend that i traded in puerto rico. (he thought that it was a disease that causes your pokemon to erase itself. lol.)

The first shiny caught on one of my games was a shiny Tentacool on Silver, but my brother caught this. The first shiny I actually caught myself was again a shiny Tentacool, but this time on Emerald. Got it on my way to Fortree, after only about 10 hours of game time

Btw the red Garydos was in G/S/C

I think it was a Zigzagoon that was my first. Not sure though.

I think it was an Oddish on my Ruby version.

My first shiny/off color pokemon was a green Zubat in Diamond. I named him Greene.

I remember missing a black and white Spinda in Emerald. A stupid critical hit took it out by accident.

My first shiny, aside from the obvious Red Gyarados, was a shiny Stantler in Silver, even when I had access to play Ruby. I got bored, and I felt like using my AR to hack shinies. I turned OFF the AR, trying to get some Pokemon that weren't shiny, and when I was in the grass just south of Ecruteak I encountered and caught a Shiny Stantler.

My first 4th gen shiny was a Shiny Kricketune with a chain of 6. I got it back when I was practicing chaining.

Mine was a Mareep in pokémon Silver. Still remember how excited I was when I saw it.. haha, before that I had never heard of the concept "shiny" pokémon, so I thought I had caught a really really really really really special one xD

my first one would have to be my shiny venonat from gold. too bad the battery died and the game can't save anymore

besides the hacked ones (I have five) the shiny latios and ampharos, all my shinies were caught in the safari zone, or marsh, or bug contest, or whether sort of special "pokemon catching" game^^

My first and only shiny was a shiny Krabby, caught in either Gold or Crystal

My first was a Corsola in Sapphire. I thought it was a glitch!

Mine was a Cleffa in Crystal from that guy who gives you an egg. (Yeah...Odd..)
And I didn't realize it was shiny up until...like 1 year later.
I also got a hacked Shiny Jirachi from someone, but I gave it away because I dun like hacked pokemon.
I have a shiny electrode.

I found it in the grass in firered, near the power plant, and I was like 7. (Voltorb appears)
ME: "OMG, ITS BLUE. I MUST HAVE IT."

My first one in the third generation was a green marill named Limemarill Then it evolved in to my proud Lemonarill the adament yellow azumarill


4th generation was a blue ponyta which later evolved into Emo runner the emo gray rapidash

Mine was a Shiny Golbat on Silver. I thought it was cool, but not cool enough to stop me erasing my file. I didn't know about shiny Pokémon before then.

I also found a shiny Tentacool in LeafGreen... and a shiny Glameow in Pearl. Oh, and my shiny Diglett. <3
The Diglett thing was really weird... it was the first Diglett I had seen on Pearl, and it was shiny. The Dex Info Update page showed the blue nose. <3
But it wasn't permanent...
