Instead of the multi tab remover thing.. i right click on the tabs and click close other tabs and t closes all but the 1 you are on That closes everything. With the multi-tab handler you can close just gpx tabs if you're also browsing other sites (which I usually am). -------------------- |

I just discovered something else in the about:config menu which can be really really helpful.
Normally when you click the "Open all Pokemon in new windows" link, all the tabs open on top of your current one, which is obviously not what you want. But if you go to the about:config page and set browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground to true, it will cause those tabs to open at the end of your line of tabs, much like using snaplinks/multilinks. This means you can open people's parties without moving your mouse. -------------------- |

wow, really great guide arceus! i used multi links but i never knew that you can just go from tab to tab using ctrl+tab, i usually just click then go to the next tab, then the remove tabs helps eliminate all the time to get rid of them, though i dont think id go back all the way to the users online, guess i'll have to find my own sway of things, really appreciate it!
EDIT! oh i see when you do the ctrl+tab it just takes you to the first tab again if you've hit it...very nice, thanks XD This post has been edited by Jorian: Jan 23 2010, 10:11 PM -------------------- |

@Panda: Snaplinks works with 3.6, but Multi-links doesn't. Which reminds me: Snaplinks for FireFox 3.6 Do I download 1.0.7 and how do I install an .xpi file? -------------------- |

@ Izzy: I must have forgot to add it at the time. It's hard being omnipresent 24/7. XD
@Panda: Snaplinks works with 3.6, but Multi-links doesn't. Which reminds me: Snaplinks for FireFox 3.6 Do I download 1.0.7 and how do I install an .xpi file? Yes - download 1.0.7. Normally your browser will let you know when there are new updates available for your current add-ons. I'd recommend installing all updates that come up because they're usually compatible with newer versions of the browser and they're less prone to derping on you. An .xpi file? I daresay that's never popped up before when I've installed stuff. Just download it normally and see what it does. I highly doubt it'll fuck up your computer. |

Before you all go harping at me for the messy first page, I fixed all that broken coding crap. The coding tends to fuck itself whenever I update the damn page. >__>

AT,I know the cause why I couldn't click so much.It was because I also found out that about:config menu before and also did the same thing you said to do in that menu, but I wanted it to be faster so I screwed up Firefox big time I fixed it now and I shall post the result as soon as possible.

Thanks for the guide, this has really sped up my clicking. I'm using the whole Snaplinks + RemoveTabs + no images thing, and it's so much faster now!
If I keep this up, those sweet sweet items will be mine... -------------------- DragCave (click to show ) |

Don't know if this has been said... I ran a search but didn't get anything, so I'll just say it.
You can change the colors of the boxes on Multi-Links [don't know about snaplinks] if you click Options on the Multi-links box on the Add-ons menu. -------------------- |

Yeah - you've gotta be really careful with the settings on that page. It's not something you should be experimenting with if you're clueless with what each setting does. Just watch what you're altering for extra speed as well, because abusing some of the speed settings that allow you to connect more pipelines to the server will get you banned. If you go over a certain limit, you'll slow it down for everyone else. I'll be posting more updates on the about:config settings with detailed explanations on why you should follow the recommendations rather than customise the settings to what appeals to you. |

Thank you for the awesome tips, it's really helpfull.
But I have one question; Sometimes, when I click at 'Open all Pokémon in new windows' I get a blank page named 'Javascript'. It's just an empty page with the name Javascipt. Am I the only one who has this or do other people have the same problem? Thanks already! -------------------- |

Well I originally used Snaplinks then changed to Multilinks because of this guide. I recently upgraded to FF 3.6 so I'm facing the Snaplinks problem I had before.
Whenever I draw the box and then ctrl+w quickly, the Box gets stuck on the page I closed. That prevents me from using Snaplinks with any of the party tabs I have open unless I restart Firefox. Any ideas or tips? -------------------- |
