As for wrist-cramps: Using a light-weight mouse and a well kept mouse pad helps greatly. Easy movement = less strain on the hand. I learned the hard way. XP

I've used greasemonkey before but it's never really played much of a role for me as far as mass clicking goes. It allows you to customize a lot of sites using a Javascript 'plug in' of sorts. Opera has a bastardized version built into their browser that allows for the Java run plug ins to customize browser experience.

Ah - fair enough. In that case, I won't bother adding it. Plus, I'm sure the majority of users are content with their browsers.

I have an addon called Mouse Gestures Redox- I just customized a clicking command that closes a tab.

What I did was, I made it so thjat to draw a gesture you have to hold alt, so that it doesn'T mess up snaplinks. Then, I created a custom command that closes the tab, which is :01 (Hold Left Click, then Press right). I don'T even need to use the keyboard. Since I have a very slow internet connection (0.8 MB per second) I just wait till the click is "accepted", like it says "He devoured it!", and then close the tab with left click+right click. Works fine for me, It takes about 10 minutes to open all 40 parties and about 15 minutes to click em all.

I use a Greasemonkey auto-scroll that automatically scrolls to the eggs in the lab, the box in the shelter and the eggs on a party so I don't have to scroll past the header and whatnot myself. Yes, it's lazy but it saves me some time. It is worth it in the long run!

Shirogane's script, right? Though the only problem it has is that the script doesn't work on very old Pokemon (a.k.a the script won't scroll down on these Pokemon).

Though the original source of the script is gone (even if her LJ post still exists in the community), I was somewhat able to salvage it, and it's currently residing in my website.

Does Snaplinks\Multi-links work with firefox version 3.6?
If not I will stay with 3.5 until such time that it does.

Now that I'm finally on a good computer, I'm going to try this. And what better day to do so than when the mystery counter is at critical mass?

I'm probably going to experiment a little, figure out my own method. Thanks so much to everyone who's contributed to this!

@Panda: Snaplinks works with 3.6, but Multi-links doesn't.

Whenever i open the user tabs from the user list i always get duplicate tabs for the same person what is with that

@ Solaris: Perhaps you have both Snaplinks and Multilinks on at the same time.

Heya people !

I upgraded to Firefox 3.6 yesterday, and found out it now opens new tabs next to the active one. For actual browsing it's a good thing, but here it's annoying, 'cuz you have to wait for each party to load, then click it, then move to the next one, instead of opening them all, then clicking them all.
And you can't change that setting in the basic options, which sucks. I'm surprised they didn't make it customizable... :/

Anyway, i found that way around it, to disable the setting :

Now, problem is you'd have to change that each time you want to use the feature, then change it again for mass-clicking. Aw, i really wish they make it more accessible in 3.7, in the basic Tab settings... For now, i guess i'll stay with the old, less comfortable setting permanently...

tip for using the "open all Pokemon in new windows" button

Type about:config in the address bar, you'll get the screen warning you not to mess with that stuff just hit continue. You'll reach a list at the top of which is a bar labeled filter, use that bar to search for browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground and set it to true. This will allow you to use the "Open all" button and remain on the person's party page, I find this much more efficient then multi/snap links for opening parties however on older computers, like mine(4-5 years old), this can begin to cause the browser to lag but that can be fixed by simply restarting the browser.

The tab kit add on for Firefox let's you view all tabs at once. Instead of at the top, they appear as a sidebar.

And you can scroll down the list when clicking and close all tabs at once when done.

Instead of the multi tab remover thing.. i right click on the tabs and click close other tabs and t closes all but the 1 you are on
