Thanks for the guide. It'll be even more helpful when I get a computer that doesn't crash if I open more than 15 parties at a time. But it's helped loads.

You rock. Thanks for the help!
I've still found Lady GaGa to be the best clicking music. =P -------------------- |

This has helped a lot - easily 1.5k clicks on a bad day.

I have a question....This guide helped but only to get barely over 1,000 interactions at the end of the day Not saying your guide is bad but still,is it my computer/internet or anything else that stops me from getting a not so high amount of clicks.I just do (almost) exactly the same thing like your guide Do you know what might be the cause of this...? My only guess here is you weren't clicking for very long. Either that, or you're clicking slowly. Like PizzaGuy, it only takes me an hour to get that many, and that's if I can't be bothered clicking. =/ I can't be too sure if it's your net letting you down here. Even in lag, it's still easy enough to get 3k, and the tab-loading is kinda laggy at this stage. I'd recommend trying again straight after reset (or as soon after as possible), then see what results you get. Hmm well I wasn't clicking all day though...but this Friday or this weekend I'll click all day (if possible) and post the result then :-) |

On the subject of FireFox, hopefully 3.7 will be a hell of a lot faster than what 3.5 is. My end runs like crap if I open anymore than 15 parties now. For some reason mine's been running like crap for the past few days. =/ -------------------- Stuff (click to show ) |

For some reason mine's been running like crap for the past few days. =/ In that case, it's probably minor issues with the server, if anything, though it only happens when multiple tabs are open. All the other things you can do with "about:config" to make your net go faster tend to put more strain on the server. @ Roxas: Alright. Normally, you should be getting between 700 - 1000 clicks an hour, even if you're not trying too hard. |

I think it must be a site issue, because I've noticed problems when I'm shelter hunting too.

Well, I don't use AT's version of mass clicking. I use my own: Safari.
Safari 4 on Snow Leopard is how I click, all the time. Basically, I go to the Online list, and Apple click a ton of parties at once (usually around 25). I then go through and Apple click the Open All link then close the page with Apple W. Repeat until the parties are done, then I use F13 and F14 to switch between tabs. (You can change any menu items on a Mac in System Preferences - Keyboard) Once I'm done, Shift Apple W to close all the tabs in the window, then Apple 3 to open my Party page (it's a bookmark, third one). If anyone else has a Mac, and doesn't like the Firefox method, try this! Hope it helped a bit. @AT: I can get around 1000 in about 40 minutes if I really try. -------------------- Looking for a small, close, friendly community where you can hang out, talk about Pokémon and anything, and have fun? By the way, I've attained over 4k in an hour before - straight after reset. XD |

Awesome. Hopefully some people will use my method.
That's crazy! =O I tried something today, opening over 240 eggs at once, and mass clicking those. Took me about 4-5 minutes to get that many. -------------------- Looking for a small, close, friendly community where you can hang out, talk about Pokémon and anything, and have fun? Well, my school doesn't let me download any add-ons for Firefox, and I just switched yesterday because Safari kept on freezing when I did this.
So, I Command+Click a whole bunch of user pages, then Command+Click all of their Pokés, while closing off the user pages. Then I just cycle through the pages with Control+Tab and click the Pokés. And yes, these controls are for Mac. -------------------- |

@S T A R M I E: That works, but with Safari, there's no need to do them individually, because the open all link doesn't give you a Javascript tab like Firefox does.

However, I have seen Firefox is faster. Safari did work for me, but my method back then was using the Random button, and everything loaded in new windows. A bit slow, but I got 4,500 that way. -------------------- |

I made it! Thanks for the guide AT! I think that, after all this, I'm content with just doing 1-2k clicks per day. Too much work. xD

I just have one question. Where is the tab key? :S I'm on a laptop and I don't see anything that says "tab" on it... eh? Should be on the left side of your keyboard. Makes no diff if you're using a laptop or desktop. (Well I've never seen it anywhere else sooo...unless you happen to be using a diff language keyboard which even then, idk if the keys besides the letter keys are all that different) This post has been edited by Izzy Swagg: Jan 20 2010, 01:14 AM -------------------- |

I'm surprised at these mass clicking tips topic popping out and yet none of you have even mentioned Greasemonkey?
And also the Mouse Keys found in the Accessibility Options in the Control Panel for Windows XP in case you don't want to get wrist cramps while using the mouse. (this only works if you have a keyboard with a Numpad, laptops won't work seeing as it's compact and you need to press a specific key to get the so-called numpad there to work). Do a little tweak on the options for the Mouse Keys before you get started though, I recommend having the Numpad key off for it to function properly. Just know your basic Ctrl+Tab, Ctrl+W keys, add the pressing the 5 on the Numpad key to that (make sure you place the pointer over where you want to click, it's a good idea to turn off the images for this to work properly) and you're all set. The rest of the stuff are in the main page of my site, especially the script from Shirogane (you might not know her anymore since she left the site.) Requirements in terms of computer hardware are: 2GB RAM, a very fast around 1mbps or more Internet. Yeah, that's the reason why I can't pull off a massclick spree on dial-up. -------------------- Dragon Cave | My Livejournal | Last.FM Credit for Fanarts in Avatar* | DeviantART | Alert; Obsessions *Link is NSFW, Banner is done by me |
