From what I heard, C=B didn't want to make them breedable at first because they didn't have a shiny form. But now that the shiny form is made, they're breedable.
Also, I'm pretty sure Bidofo is in the Humanshape egg group, and Bidoof is not. You'll have to breed it with another Poke. -------------------- |

For one.. Bidofo is in the Ground and Humanshape egg groups.
And I have my Bidofo in the daycare with my Elekid.. no eggs yet.. but the message says they're somewhat friendly with each other.. suggesting at least it will be breedable. And Commander Wymsy made a shiny form I believe for Bidofo (it's orange, lol just see C=B sig). And I think this morning or last night they got an egg group? -------------------- |

You know, that might be what the big maintenance this morning was about since i haven't seen anything else new around the site... also food for thought... will bidofo now hatch female, or are they all still going to be sassy males? So bidofo can breed now... yay, i can attempt to start breeding it out for people once i get a silph scope~ -------------------- |

There was a slight change.. our forum usergroups show up on the User's Online page.
But yeah.. nearly three hours now and my Bidofo and Elekid made no eggs. And my Bidofo is still level 0. -------------------- |

If they are breedable, how to distinguish it from regular bidoof's egg? there is no description available when scoping it
EDIT: Or it means that there is no bidoof will get from it? This post has been edited by Icon: Aug 10 2009, 01:38 PM -------------------- |

QUOTE ...I remember seeing the shiny sprite only a day or two after Bidofo came out. But C=B said that it didn't have a shiny form until just now, and that's why they weren't breedable. You must be mistaken. You can tell a Bidofo egg from a normal Bidoof by the maturity they take to hatch. ...oh no, the shelter's gonna be flooded with Bidoof now. O_O -------------------- |

Bidofos can breed with other Pokemon in the Ground or Humanshape category.
Now, then, this question comes into mind from this topic, since we're getting off topic with the talk of breeding, and I suppose we should just move it here. So I'm breeding an Easter Buneary and a Bidofo... and what came out of it is an Easter Buneary. First attempt, I abandoned it for others to get. Creepy. Anyways, would Bidofos have that same rule Easter Buneary(s), Zergoose and Slime Sugma get when it comes to the eggs they produce? Meaning, will they produce normal Bidoofs also? Cause if that's not the case, then... this might be the only way to tell the difference of a Bidofo egg from an ordinary Bidoof, if you're breeding them with another Pokemon. (also, My Bidofo turned Level 8 after the glitch... o.o;;?) -------------------- Dragon Cave | My Livejournal | Last.FM Credit for Fanarts in Avatar* | DeviantART | Alert; Obsessions *Link is NSFW, Banner is done by me |

Every novelty pokemon has an IIRC 1/200 chance of producing the novelty form, otherwise, it's the normal form. You just got really lucky. :P

GET WITH THE TIMES. -------------------- Overtaken by Net & Zodi on that track!
