Hey, er, this may seem like a stupid question, but how exactly do I scroll through the tabs? I kow ctrl+w closes the tab you're on, but it takes a long time, and (while it may not take as long as ctrl+w) it also takes a while to click the x, so is there any trick to scrolling through tabs?

Sorry, I'm not exactly the Stephen Hawking of key combos.

Also, how do I quickly open the tabs? I don't have Sigma's script and when I enter the number of pokemon I want, it opens them in windows and not tabs, which severely slows it down.

Push (or hold) Ctrl and the Tab key at the same time.
Edit: to your other question, go to tools>Options>Tabs and check the first box.

EDIT: Turns out I didn't need the tab scrolling because I have "Close Pokémon windows after interactions, or if you may not interact" on.

Thanks, For me it's was very halp full because it seem that when I use it I can do 1000 click in hour and before i start to use it I could do 1700 click in day
so it's a huge improve because it's a lot faster

Heh - I guess this thread needs another huge ass overhaul. I'll be including my version of how to use Opera as well, except it'll involve more computer-based tweaking alongside the browser mods RTL uses in her guide. (Mine has some extra tweaks, however)

Some areas of FireFox will also be changed; just sit tight for now.

I just press Ctrl + Tab and put mouse keys on... Then you can alternate between pressing Tab and 5.

Anyways - I've written up my version of Opera. The setting up is pretty much the same as Ride's, but I've added slightly different opera:config settings, and more ways to optimize the browser.

I can't seem to get my max connections settings to work better than the defaults, am I don't it wrong or is default the best for me?

I'm using the Firefox settings in Lunascape, and they work great~
of course, they need to update and give the browser the ability to stay on one tab or something, opening tabs in gpxplus through the auto click buttons always results in ending up on the second to last tab. >~<

For some computers, the default settings will work just as well, if not better, than the max connection settings. Max connections work better for me, since my end is quite slow. High end machines might not notice any difference regardless of what the number is set at.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Did you include the "--profilemanager" part? That may be why.

I'm no expert on profile management for FireFox, and ShayDwight's been banned, so I don't know what to do there. Big Bidoof might be able to help you, though.

@ Aurapwns: First, type "opera:config" where you type a website URL (the address bar), then in the quicksearch space, type "connections".

I have one slight issue. I tend to use Chrome since it uses less processing speed, but when I hold down ctrl to click 'warm the egg', it opens it in a new tab, whereas when I've done it with Firefox, this is disabled somehow. Does anyone know how to disable this for Chrome.

I had a look around, but I couldn't find a solution.

Turns out this person is having the same problem on GPX as well. There might be an extension out there somewhere to disable it, but none of the links that appeared had any promising content; only ways of disabling CTRL + click in Microsoft Word.

Yeah, the only thing I can think of helping is maybe a Greasemetal script that takes it out manually, but I'm no good with things like that. It's a bit of a trade off really. With Firefox the issue doesn't come up, but i have to wait for each tab to load at least most of the way, but with Chrome's tabs it doesn't even have to be fully loaded when you click as long as you click the spot where the image will appear. But by the same token, Chrome has limiteer placed on the number of tabs you can open at one time, which is 25. I'm kinda pissed today too, since at about 9 last night I only needed 400 more clicks to get the Master Clicker achievement, but I hadn't slept in 24 hours so I passed out with my laptop in my lap.

And yes, I am that chrismas4477. As well as 99% of any other christmas4477 you find on most sites.

That sucks, man; and I thought so. I remember us trying to battle over wi-fi 2 years ago, but wi-fi was shitting itself. XD

I'm a noob with Chrome for the most part, but I know Opera tabs can be clicked when they're not fully loaded as well. It depends if you've managed to match your max connections perfectly with your connection speed. If Chrome won't work for you, give Opera a go.

Also, I know the guide says to use 105/256 max connections for Opera, but I'm finding 24 to be perfect for my end, and 128 max total connections (I'll update the front page later. XP). I'm able to start going nuts about 2 to 4 seconds after I click "go", thus getting over 100 interactions in 15 to 20 seconds rather than little under a minute. Lowering the number of tabs you open to a number like 80 - 95 can make a difference in speed too.

Yeah, decided to grab Opera after seeing how much you can click in a day, and it is much better I might not be able to get as much as you, but now I won't have to break my back just hit 10k.
