sorry but everyone who played red or blue version got charmander cuase it turned into a freaking awesome dragon charizard did get lamer looking over the years though it used to look so cool but now its alright still better looking then most of the new generation pokemon though especially bidoof

Aww, no poll choice for Venusaur? Blastoise (and Charizard) are cool but Bulba was always my starter in Blue.
Maybe I'll start a Venusaur Brigade.  Eh. probably not, I'm attempting to fill my Dex. Good luck with your Armada.  Looks like it's growing pretty fast.

I wonder if this topic should be posted HERE.....
Anyways, Blastoise pwns Charizard TECHNICALLY. I also think it's the most balanced starter in Red/Blue. they're BOTH cool, though, IMO. But I sure wouldn't vote for Venusaur if it were up there.
