Three months ago, an infection spread from Tokyo, Japan. Those infected felt nothing, and became motivated by only one thing: to feed. From Japan, the infection spread to the world, starting with the United States’ western seaboard. From there it spread like wildfire. The military and militias were soon overwhelmed. Not long after the first cases were reported in Nevada, EMPs caused nationwide blackouts.

Now, Las Vegas is overrun by Them, sometimes known as zombies. Survivors scavenge what they can, even as the desert starts reclaiming the city. Resources are running low, and survivors are killing each other for what’s left. The smart thing to do at this point is to pack up and get out.

Rules

2- This RP is based on a mature anime and manga. Language, violence, and ecchi will be here. However, no sex.
3- Please keep it realistic. Yes, we’re in Vegas with zombies, but basic physics and such still apply.
4- Please be respectful to your fellow RPers. This means no spamming, flaming, or arguing. If an argument is unavoidable, please take it to PMs.
5- Good grammar is a must.
6- We have a three-strike system here: Strike one- Strict warning to the player; Strike two- One character injured and one week ban from the RP; Strike three- All characters killed and permaban from the RP.

Them
Although referred to as “Them” or “They,” They are, for lack of a better term, the traditional zombie. They feel no pain, and the only way to destroy them is to cut off the head, burn the body to the point it can’t function, or destroy the brain. They can put on quite a bit of speed, and cannot climb, and are extremely strong; additionally, they cannot truly see, and are attracted by noise. Close-quarters combat is not advised unless no other option exists.


Las Vegas
Ever since the outbreak, Las Vegas has slowly started to be reclaimed by desert. They walk the streets, so many survivors stick to the buildings unless there is no other choice. However, with dwindling resources, survivors are fighting each other just as much as they fight Them. More than one group has thought that the wisest decision is to leave Sin City behind.

Name: Rex Drake
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Rex is somewhat short for his age, with broad shoulders. He has gray eyes and black hair, and wears black steel-toe boots, old jeans ripped at the knees, two sets of dog tags, a black jacket and black fingerless leather gloves.
Personality: Rex is usually quiet, preferring to keep to himself. However, he places others before himself, and values human life. He is still haunted by the deaths of his parents, so he doesn't sleep much, as he sees them whenever he does sleep.
Skills: Survival
Biography: The only child of a military family, Rex moved around a lot. However, he was very close with his parents, both of whom were in the Marine Corps. His father taught him about honor, how to fight, and what he should fight for. Because of his parents' backgrounds, they had weapons on-hand most of the time, and kept a collection with them, so they were prepared for the attack. However, both of his parents were bitten, and Rex had to kill them himself, and has not been exactly the same ever since.

Appearance: Conner stands at 6' 1''. He has an athletic build with muscular arms and legs, and is an accomplished free-runner and skateboarder. He has a tanned complexion, and emerald green eyes. He has dirty blonde hair which hangs in long dreadlocks down his back. He wears a red vest underneath a white hooded jacket and a pair of cargo pants. He wears black fingerless gloves and black and red running shoes. He wears a large black Backpack on his back, which holds his skateboard,

Personality: Conner is a relaxed and easygoing individual, with a positive outlook on life. He's the peacemaker when fights break out in the group. He is also very slow to anger and practically has no temper at all. Most people see his relaxed attitude as laziness, but he is very athletic, and always has plenty of energy. He has a decent sense of humour and is a loyal friend.This has lead to him having many different friends at school. He doesn't like to be tied down by rules, and prefers to be himself and be free. He is a rule-breaker of sorts, but not a complete anarchist or anything. Despite all of this, Conner does have a dark side. He's kind of a lone wolf when confronted with a problem. He'll break away from his friends and try to solve it on his own. He can become irritable and snappish during this time, and won't get better unless he overcomes the problem. He is also incredibly good at goofing off when he wants too, and sometimes can't be bothered with certain tasks.

Skills: Very skilled free runner and skateboarder, proficient in 'run and gun' style attack

Biography: Born in LA, Connor and his little sister Rachel were orphaned at an early age when their parents died in a car crash. For many years Connor and Rachel had to fend for themselves, but they were eventually adopted by a nice family, and eventually moved to Vegas. Although Rachel enjoyed her new life immensely, Connor felt like he didn't really belong in this city, or with this new family. He used to go out a lot in, coasting through the suburbs and city centre on his board looking for things to do. His relationship with his new parents became strained as he grew more distant. He was hanging with his friends when They attacked. Barely managing to escape with his life. Connor rushed back to his house, only to find it empty. Now he roams the city, looking for his family.

Weapons: Pair of Beretta 92G-SDs, with Night sights, Metal Baseball Bat. I guess his skateboard too in a pinch
