Basically, a JaskWak team with some add-ons such as Chain Chomp. I've managed 2 6-0's already out if its 3 games. Great start for a first season, eh?
Ninjask @ Lefties [[Speed Boost]] Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk) 176 HP / 252 Atk / 80 Spd -Swords Dance -Substitute -Baton Pass -X-Scissor Basically, Substitute and either Swords Dance / X-Scissor if your sub is still up, or Sub again and again and again then Baton Pass to a good counter. Or Marowak, since Swords Dance + 4 Speed on it is nothing to laugh at. I've gotten 2 6-0's with this combo already. Marowak @ Thick Club [[Rock Head]] Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk) 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd -Earthquake -Rock Slide -Fire Punch -Double-Edge No Pokemon resists this, I think. This could be a CB set if it weren't for the fact that Thick Club is better in every way possible. Electivire @ Expert Belt [[Motor Drive]] Naughty (+Atk, -Def) 176 Atk / 80 SAtk / 252 Spd -Thunderbolt -Earthquake -Cross Chop -Ice Punch Hits 14/17 types for supereffective. Life Orb also works, but the suicidal orb has its side effects. Cresselia @ Lefties [[Levitate]] Bold (+Def, -Atk) 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef -Reflect -Ice Beam -Thunder Wave -Moonlight My one and only tank here. Very helpful on Shoddy Battle, since most people don't realise that they're paralyzed because of the lack of a status bar. They think that Roserade will defeat me because of Shadow Ball and the fact that they're faster and the fact that I'm out of Moonlight, but I've got them paralysed and I've got Ice Beam. Gengar @ Life Orb [[Levitate]] Lonely (+Atk, -SDef) 204 Atk / 52 SAtk / 252 Spd -Shadow Ball -Thunderbolt -Energy Ball -Explosion Sweep until I can't take anymore hits, then use Explosion. Usually has the effect of turning 6 remaining Pokemon into 3 or 4. Garchomp @ Life Orb [[Sand Veil]] Lonely (+Atk, -SDef) 16 Atk / 252 SAtk / 240 Spd -Swords Dance -Draco Meteor -Earthquake -Fire Blast Chain Chomp. Lure in its counter, then use Draco Meteor. QUOTE(smogon) AGAINST HIPPOWDON Draco Meteor on max HP, minimum SpDef Hippowdon: 259 attack vs 180 defense, 140 power(* 1.5 * 1.3), 420 max HP: 67.38% - 79.29% Draco Meteor on max HP, minimum SpDef Hippowdon after SpAtk drop: 129 attack vs 180 defense, 140 power(* 1.5 * 1.3), 420 max HP: 33.81% - 39.76% If Hippowdon has no Leftovers, Draco Meteor kills it in two hits. If it does, it still risks being KOed, and that's not even taking Spikes or Stealth Rock into account. Note the importance of one of these here! AGAINST WEEZING Draco Meteor on max HP, minimum SpDef Weezing: 259 attack vs 176 defense, 140 power(* 1.5 * 1.3), 394 max HP: 73.6% - 86.55% Draco Meteor on max HP, minimum SpDef Weezing after SpAtk drop: 129 attack vs 176 defense, 140 power(* 1.5 * 1.3), 394 max HP: 36.8% - 43.4% Fire Blast on max HP, minimum SpDef Weezing: 259 attack vs 176 defense, 120 power(* 1.3), 394 max HP: 41.88% - 49.49% Draco Meteor + Stealth Rock = guaranteed dead Weezing, though it dies very often anyways. Or you could use Fire Blast on the switch, then Draco Meteor. AGAINST SLOWBRO Draco Meteor on max HP, minimum SpDef Slowbro: 259 attack vs 196 defense, 140 power(* 1.5 * 1.3), 394 max HP: 65.99% - 77.66% Draco Meteor on max HP, minimum SpDef Slowbro after SpAtk drop: 129 attack vs 196 defense, 140 power(* 1.5 * 1.3), 394 max HP: 32.99% - 39.09% Draco Meteor + Draco Meteor + Spikes or Stealth Rock = guaranteed dead Slowbro. Like Weezing, it needs luck to survive even without Stealth Rock or Spikes. AGAINST BRONZONG Fire Blast on max HP, max SpDef, +SpDef natured, Levitate Bronzong: 259 attack vs 364 defense, 120 power(* 1.3 * 2), 338 max HP: 47.63% - 55.92% Earthquake on max HP, max Def, +Def natured, Heatproof Bronzong: 330 attack vs. 364 defense, 100 power, times 3.90: 257 - 304 (target hp: 275 - 338) AGAINST SKARMORY Fire Blast on max HP, minimum SpDef Skarmory: 259 attack vs 176 defense, 120 power(* 1.3 * 2), 334 max HP: 99.1% - 116.77% Draco Meteor on max HP, minimum SpDef Skarmory: 259 attack vs 176 defense, 140 power(* 1.3 * 1.5 * 0.5), 334 max HP: 43.41% - 50.9% Fire Blast on max HP, minimum SpDef Skarmory after SpAtk drop: 129 attack vs 176 defense, 120 power(* 1.3 * 2), 334 max HP: 49.4% - 58.38% If Skarmory even takes 1% damage it gets killed by Fire Blast. Skarmory isn't a counter to Garchomp anyway, but it's a common physical wall so it's included for completeness. AGAINST STARMIE 304 HP versions (a significant HP investment) are OHKOed when Spikes or Stealth Rock are on the field. AGAINST GLISCOR Draco Meteor on max HP, minimum SpDef Gliscor: 259 attack vs. 186 defense, 140 power, times 1.95: 273 - 321 (target hp: 354) Draco Meteor 2 on max HP, minimum SpDef Gliscor: 129 attack vs. 186 defense, 140 power, times 1.95: 136 - 161 (target hp: 354) No chance. AGAINST DONPHAN Draco Meteor on max HP, minimum SpDef Donphan: 259 attack vs. 156 defense, 140 power, times 1.95: 325 - 384 (target hp: 384) No need to even calculate the second, Donphan stands zero chance. AGAINST BLISSEY Earthquake on max HP, max+ Defense Blissey: 330 attack vs. 130 defense, 100 power, times 1.95: 354 - 419 (target hp: 714) Swords Dance Earthquake on max HP, max+ Defense Blissey: 660 attack vs. 130 defense, 100 power, times 1.95: 707 - 834 (target hp: 714) What does this mean? It means that Chain Chomp, despite being built to hit on the special side, is still a massive physical threat as well. More Remarks You have 300 speed to outspeed and KO choice specs Salamence and non-Jolly Gliscor. So, knock out their physical wall. You can then sweep with a Swords Dance Earthquake (if they don't have Cresselia), or open up the game for another physical sweeper that can take on Cresselia easily and benefits from something like Gliscor or Hippowdon being gone. Heracross and Tyranitar are two examples that immediately come to mind. In addition, if you want to use the strategy, you'll want to use Stealth Rock...your KO ability against everything skyrockets, and you get a guaranteed OHKO and Slowbro, Hippowdon, and Blissey in case you are extremely unlucky. Garchomp is a threat that can hit reasonably hard on both the physical and special side at the same time. Draco Meteor is such a broken attack. So, feel free to criticise me as long as it's constructive. Comments also welcome. And yes, I know that I don't have a Stealth Rocker, but...yeah. I could get Blissey over instead of Cresselia, but...I like Cresselia more. -------------------- |

Um, I may have no idea what I'm talking about, but why not Thunderpunch on Marowak instead of Fire Punch?

Rock Slide will hit flying types just as hard as Thunder Punch, and Earthquake will hit waters not named Gyarados, Mantine and Pelliper just as hard as Thunder Punch so it doesn't really matter. Fire Punch is so that Skarmory and Bronzong don't wall you.
EDIT: Maybe Return instead of Double-Edge so that you don't kill yourself? ; Just a though. -------------------- |

I've got Rock Head to take care of Double-Edge. Its other ability is useless in single battles, so...yeah.

I just battled somebody and he decided to quit just because 'I'm a cheap loser that uses JaskWak'. Also, he'd never heard of Chain Chomp.
shoddybattle's full of noobs. -------------------- |

Yes, well, it's no better to think Double Team is cheating and this isn't.
Anyway, it wiped me out in an instant when I was "letting the music play". -------------------- |

Actually, there's an easy way to counter this. Taunt and/or Stealth Rock.

There's many easy ways to counter DT and Minimize. Shock Wave, Aura Sphere, Vital Throw, Aerial Ace, Shadow Punch, Magical Leaf, Swift, Magnet Bomb, Foresight, Lock-On, Odor Sleuth, Miracle Eye. And anything Machamp uses, if his ability works how I think it does.

It is rigged, I've been right about this all along, but we're getting off-topic. I'm making a thread about this later, since I've pretty much de-bunked the whole "omg no skill ur usin luk" stupidity.
To put it simply, if you don't have a counter for evasion, that's poor planning on YOUR part. -------------------- |

Actually, Double Team and Minimize are banned form most standard tournaments. You shouldn't even worry about them, because battles are so switch happy anyway. The only was you could worry about Accuracy is from Mean Look + BP + Flash/Sand-attack. But Umbreon has better things to do than to Mean Look you, use Flash/Sand-attack until you have no accuracy and then switch to an approperate counter.

But it's not banned from Shoddy Battle, which is what we're referring to.

It's banned on the honor system there, or maybe you should stop fighting noobs.
Also I like how all the "counters" to DT require you to sacrifice a shit load of power on most pokemon (except for like lucario and togekiss with Sphere) and change every TBolt to shock wave etc. It overcentralizes the metagame; if DT were allowed, everything would need those moves. Jesus Christ. ALSO: Chain chomp needs stealth rock support, in turns alot of 2 or 3hkos into OHKO and 2HKOs and it dramtically increases his power. I can see where you are going with it because he really supports Wak with taking out their physical wall, but he needs a team built around him for the most part. Also your offense would be pretty short lived becase everything is pretty fragile on this team. You will probably have trouble with cresselia because the only things that can "kill it" are gengar (risks getting paralyzed/psychiced, extremely fragile) and ninjask (doesnt necesarily enjoy paralyzation, risks getting ice beamed). You can force it to run with those pokemon after a sacrifice, or stall it out with your own cresselia, but if it has RestTalk you will lose almost everytime in cress vs cress stall wars. Also I would like to know your solution to gyarados because cress is the only wall on this team and he will just taunt you while he laughs at your ice beam. You have trouble with heracross too, gengar still takes way too much from megahorn, and most (good) heras Stone Edge at the start anyway to catch gliscor or whaever makeshift hera counter the other team has. You may have trouble with weavile too, though reflect/twave from cress hurts him alot, and although weavile cant really switch in on anything on this team it can hit your whole team except electivire (with his wonderful defenses) for super effective. -------------------- I use Wi-fi but my pokemon are hacked, but have things within the field of legality in the game. I also have shoddy battle and I'm waiting for competitor.
Also I claimed Vaporeon. |

Neither does Gliscor. =/
I think I'll take Metagross, it could use a few speed and attack boosts for the better. And it also explodes. =DDD ...so does Regirock, but... -------------------- |

Garchomp went back to being regular.
Garchomp @ Life Orb [[Sand Veil]] Jolly (+Spd, -SAtk) 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd -Swords Dance -Dragon Claw -Earthquake -Fire Blast Metagross @ Choice Band [[Clear Body]] Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk) 176 HP / 252 Atk / 80 Spd -Meteor Mash -Bullet Punch -Earthquake -Explosion I think I went a little far and took out its purpose of being a tank, though...could replace Explosion with Ice Punch for taking care of Garchomp and Salamence, but...I like teh big boomz -------------------- |
