You are an ordinary human teenager, browsing the internet like so many are apt to do. As you are aimlessly glazing over wikipedia pages and playing flashgames, a strange popup appears. It is completely white, and there is no way to close it. On the front there is, in what appears to be sketch drawn handwriting, is a single phrase.

'DO YOU ACCEPT?'

Underneath is two buttons: Yes, and No. You are slightly irked that your happy go lucky browsing has been so rudely interrupted, but you give it some thought. You have no idea what this could be about, and it looks to be rather interesting. then again, it could be some sort of hacker trying to infiltrate your computer, which would, of course, end badly. You decide, against your best judgement, to accept.

As soon as you press yes, your vision fails you for half a second. then, suddenly, it recovers. You are not sitting at your computer anymore, you are sitting in the middle of what appears to be a grassy hillside. but something is off. The grass is too green, the sky is too blue. The clouds are too perfect, and the sun is... The Sun... Is Smiling?

Just as you are about to panic, you hear something behind you. In your paniced state, you whirl around and look at a large oak tree, situated behind you. Next to it stands what appears to be a dinosaur? But it is green, and smiling. It has two large button eyes, and a pair of triangle shaped teeth stick out from it's lip. Before you can react, it shouts out, "Our savior has arrived! Come, I must take you to the villiage!"

Welcome to the World of Abstractus!

You play either as one of the Five Saviors, or an Abstractite.

If you are a Savior, you have spontaneously appeared at one of the many villages located around Abstractus. Your goal as a Savior is either to save the Abstractites from a dangerous Group of beings called Shades, or to ditch the Abstractites and Find a way back to your own realm.

If you are an Abstractite, your goal is to accompany the five Saviors on an epic quest to defeat the Shades once and for all, saving your species. You will surely be rewarded for taking such a righteous quest.

Abstractus is a continent that can only be described as ever changing. The entire continent is oversaturated with color, and the beings that live there, Abstractites, are as varied as the land.

Abstractites are not a uniform species. indeed, when they are born, they take the shape of a blob of living grey clay. At the age of six months, They decide on a shape they will remain in for the rest of their lives, and take that shape. This has lead to much variation.

Shades are a species that has appeared suddenly and randomly, no one knows where they came from. They appear to be beings made of pure blackness, with sharp, needle like teeth and a wholly sour attitude. Lately, they have been eradicating every last Abstractite they can find.

Personality:
Peter is a bit childish. Well, actually, a lot childish. He tends to be a bit clingy, never really leaving one's side. This also means he is very loyal, and will follow even the most foolhardy of people into battle. In a group, he will usually center around one person. Peter can get distracted easily, but this is often for the best, for with his curiosity comes an innate sense of what is going to end well and what is going to end badly. He is stubborn, and will oft throw tantrums if he does not agree with something. surprisingly, he gets along best with those who's personality is very negative.
Appearance:

Peter Is a green colored dinosaur that appears to have been drawn by a kindergartener. His most prominent feature is his dark green crest that goes down his back. it is surprisingly strong, and can actually be used as a sort of stepladder. His twig like arms aren't very useful in lifting things, but are indeed able to wield weapons. His bite is about as strong as a saltwater crocodiles, although he rarely uses it.
History:
Peter was born during the climax of the Shade invasion. He was barely one when his hometown was attacked. The Strange Shades destroyed everything, burning houses in black flames, uprooting crops, and disintegrating people. Peter survived by fleeing into the woods with his older brother, Barry Dynosuar. The two were being pursued by the Shades for a while, but managed to escape by hiding in a rotting log.

The pair emerged from the forest days later, hungry and alone. They had, thankfully, come across a nearby village, who took them in. Peter was too young to speak, but his older brother told the entire story of what had happened to them. The village took pity on them, and gave them a house to live in, a small abandoned shack located near the edge of town. It wasn't much, but it was the best they could do.

Barry took care of Peter for most of his life, teaching the young Abstractite basic life skills. He taught Peter how to tend to crops, The basics of fighting, Mending wounds, reading, writing, and a multitude of other skills that could come in handy later in life. Barry was a good brother, and still lives in the old shack to this day.

At the age of ten, Peter and Barry were informed of a village tradition. At the age of ten, Abstractites would have their future told by the village mystic. Barry, bemused by the idea, agreed, and Peter was ushered into the Mystic's hut. There, the Mystic told Peter how he was destined for greatness. She told him about how he would accompany one of the five Grand Saviors, and help them defeat the Shades once and for all. Peter, of course, being ten, was very excited, and told his brother all about it. Barry dismissed this as childish imagination.

Now, at the age of Sixteen, Barry is sitting by the old oak tree, one of his favorite places to sit, when his eyes fail him for half a second. when he recovers, he sees one of the five Saviors has appeared, and almost shouts for joy. He contains himself, however, and informs that he simply must lead the Savior to the village to show them all.

Is this the sort of idea one gets from playing 'Draw Something' too often, I wonder?
I must ask, will the humans look like drawings now, or will they stay fleshy?

They'll stay fleshy, of course. the world doesn't look sketched, it looks super Hi-Def. And Peter looks like a sketch because he chose to very early on.

...and I got the Idea from A game called Drawn to life.

Lol reading the story and nothing else, I at first thought the setting would be on Yoshi's Island.

Personality: Cody's personality is a lethargic one, as his life has gone somewhat steadily downhill. Cody cannot find any sort of motivation to continue on in life. He's a Junior in high school and not quite sure what he wants to do with his life at this stage in it, though he does take particular interests in various artworks and programming, though his lack of attention hinders his abilities greatly. He isn't quite sure why he's lost almost all motivation, but it depresses him at times.

As such, Cody attempts constantly to offset his depressed feelings by acting out in rather...strange mannerisms. He'll randomly have an outburst or act as if he belonged in a mental asylum just to watch people's shocked and confused reactions around him. Lately this has proven to give him an empty content feeling, and leaves him only further depressed. But still, he pushes on.

Sometimes he'll feel a boost of confidence, like when he thinks something may change in his life for once, but that optimism is usually shot down by his overwhelming feelings of cynicism. His conclusions often end in something dying or breaking or not working, all around the worst outcomes possible. These feelings birth a secret hatred and anger that Cody tries his best to leave buried for now. Though, when put under high stress he will get extremely upset.

He also holds a great amount of caring towards people he would consider a friend, and he's very understanding of other's feelings, not that he'd acknowledge this unless someone were actually his friend. Otherwise, he doesn't really care for others. His favourite passtimes are playing video games and drawing, and he finds himself doing said things a lot of the time.

Appearance: Cody's hair is somewhat long and dirty blonde, covering his forehead and ears. His eyes are a pale blue, almost grey colour, and their eyelids droop slightly. He has an average build of about 120 pounds at 5'6", not very muscular at all, but his litheness is unquestionable. His face has a few pimples on it, and the years of teenage acne issues have put a couple of scars on his cheek, but he doesn't mind the scars too much. Lastly, his skin is a pale white.

He is adorned with a t-shirt portraying a slew of cat faces on the front, two of them standing out from the crowded picture for their added accessories. One of them has an eye patch and the other is smoking a cigarette. The pants he is wearing are a deep, navy blue, and fit him loosely, which forces him to wear a brown leather belt, the front of which is weathered from years of use by him. The black sneakers he wears on his feet are also obviously old, a hole being apparent in the top of one of them.

History: Cody's history isn't very substantial. He grew up with two normal parents, attended school normally, etcetera. Though he was never really good at making friends in his years at elementary school. He's lived his life for the most part in the United States, specifically in Virginia. He has never left the east coast of the United States, either, though he wishes to broaden his horizons sometime after he's done with school. He's made a few friends after elementary school, though, which are his closest friends now. He considers them better than his family, certainly.

More recently he's found himself alone more often, however, since his friends have accomplished higher social activity than he has. In fact, most days Cody spends alone browsing the Internet in his room. when he isn't doing that, he's working some odd job or the other.
