So, I invision something like a.. Pokemon/Fantasy/Adventure kinda thing. Like, a group of Pokemon going on an adventure to _______. Kind of like PMD,but subtracting the missions and rescues and adding more to the traveling and such. It could be like friendly adventure and the like at the beginning, and then our Pokemon heroes find a plot of some sort that threatens the world? Seriously, this could work if we can come up with something good... Eh, Idk. Please post any ideas here! I'm even accepting 2 co-gms! First come first serve, though.

Maybe they (AN I JUST BE RIFFING HERE) find a magic compass or lose their memory or something?

You kidding? It's these types of On-the-fly style RP's that can revolutionize Roleplaying. I mean, look at Gijinka academy. when I first signed up, It was barely 2 pages in. Now, even though I've quit, I look down and see a whopping seven hundred pages. Seven. Hundred. It doesn't need anything more than go out and adventure, as long as it's kept moving.

Xires, good point, and Slave1, good idea! We could seriously use both, somehow.

Okaaaay...
Idea 1:
No real deep plot, mostly just an adventure around the world to train, collect treasures, learn the true meaning of friendship and well, just adventure, with special events and "questish" (or normal quests) things.

Idea 2:
A magical compass leads players to secert spots, but theres a downside to it that I really can't think of. Special activation, maybe?

Idea 3: Our heroes have mysteriously woke up in an alternate fantasy realm with no idea how they got there and try to find out how they got there.

Idea 4:
Magical compass holds the fate of the world, and our heroes have to go where it points to find what they need to save the world.

So the first 2 can be endless, and the last 2 could possibly have an end, but we could always turn it into one of the first two.



I favor idea 2 myself, because there actually is sort of a plot for those who want one while adding the freedom to it.

This sounds cool. If we use idea 2, I was thinking we could quest for "legendary lost" items and stuff.

"HEPHEASTUS'S ALMIGHTY UNBENDING HAMMER OF METALWORK AND FORGERY" sounds pretty legendary, and I think it should be the first object on the list if Number 2 is chosen.

@ThePoker: We'll be Pokemon, but with more of a humanish feel. Like, armor, a bow, or simple clothing would be common finds, and some Pokemon have learned to stand upright

Okay, so it seems we've got some interested roleplayers and ideas, so do you guys want to be co-gms? (Poker, I wouldn't mind having 3, even though I said 2 in the first post)

Just tell me and we can get this party started! Or at least planned.

@Xires: O.o That sounds like a pretty awesome hammer! We should get it first. (And I have a pretty good idea where it could be hiding...)

Town names will be named after emotions, probably.

Elate City, Borr Town, Melancho Town, etc.

Hey guys, just been watching this for a few days now, and I gotta admit it sounds well good. However I have to ask one thing about what our characters are exactly.

I believe that Dual Portal said they would be 'Pokemon with a more humanish feel' this has lead me to three different conclusions:

1) We just have regular gijinka characters. This would be the idea I recommend least as it is used way too often.

2) Our characters are Pokemon that have evolved to the point where they have the intelligence of humans, but retain their Pokemon appearance. So basically, They'll stay the same size, but now they can talk, and use items and weapons. This would be cool, but kinda hard to pull off I think.

3) Our Characters are humans in a medieval world, whose armor and weapons are based off actual Pokemon designs. I think this would be completely awesome because of all the designs of armor and weapons you could have. For example:

Take a look at this Sandslash:


And now imagine things like:

Armour: A helmet made to look like the face/head, a breastlplate, which has spikes on the back, and the whole armour is in a Gold and dark Brown colour scheme.

Weapons: These bad boys:

(Except with two claws instead of three)

Just an idea I had, that last one, would love to try it sometime tho, what ya Think?

Number 2. Plus, like I said, the ones who are like that can do cool things like use weapons, sand on two legs, ect. Regular wild ones will just be, well... Regular wild ones., just more animal like. ANd I like the idea of 3. They will be Pokemon based weaponry and armor too.
