Ru - Argh, just ignore me. I was having a stupid self-degrading moment. Sorry if I upset you Dark - Thankies~ Huh, I've just realised that both of these characters were in my R.O.T.O. a while back. I also realised that the thread makes for an awesome acronym xD Everyone - Right, status report time. RUNI AND I have pretty much got everything covered now in terms of background info, which will be added shortly, meaning that all that's left really is to get the first post down and get this show underway! However, even if the post is ready before the deadline, I won't be posting it until the actual date, so as no one feels any additional pressure when it comes to getting their profile finished. I've been there before, and I know it's not the most pleasant of experiences. And yes, changing the font like that was completely necessary. Yes it was.

@Dark - Awww that's just so sweet <3 @Chaos - Oh my gosh, that sucks ! I'm sorry about that; take your time with redoing him (: Thank you very much for the status update though o/// @Sam - Gotcha Sammie ! Feel better soon though <3 @Arcy - Just don't do it again C: /yaaaaaaaaaaay proper grammer ! I've finished my teachers, so i'm assuming that you wanted them posted here? OH AND ONE MORE THING THAT I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I DIDN'T NOTICE BEFORE. So the schedule that you've made so far has 8 courses per week, meaning that they'll have 8 exams by the end of the first semester? And then by second and third semester, they'll have to do the same exams...again ?! That does not sound fun... Though, i guess they could be like term evaluation exams and whatnot (like Midterms)? And certain courses won't have exams either, though they will have culminating projects and whatnot. BUT ANYWAYS; the first half of the faculty has now been spoiler'd for your convenience, because i went just a tad overboard with background characters ._____.; Headmaster & Teachers! (click to showhide) Name: Torren Levis. Age: 32. Gender: Male. Alignment: Males. Gijinka Sub-Species: Kyogre. School Year: Headmaster. Appearance: —x—Personality: Torren comes off as a bit of a dunce seeing as he’s rather clumsy, accident prone and a bit slow on the pick up. The Legendary Gijinka also tends to overreact, especially when his precious students are the issue at hand. He treats everyone as an equal no matter their age or status, though he does tend to be slightly forgetful every now and then. Torren is open to everyone and enjoys interacting with others, making him a very friendly and approachable soul. However, despite his simpleton-like persona, Torren is actually one of the best Headmaster’s the school has ever seen. In all actuality, he’s very competent and can easily pull his own weight and more. To prove this point, Torren always makes a point finish his work before it’s due, staying on top of any problems that may surface and completing all tasks assigned to him. He’s also become adept at cleaning up messes that are created by the student body during their more intense competitions and ensuring that the school has a spotless record. When he does finish his duties, the Headmaster spends the rest of his time walking the halls and dropping into lessons so as to stay in tune with the school. Though he supports the males of the school, he very much enjoys seeing them struggle whenever the females manage to outdo them. After all, it wouldn’t be a lot of fun if one side were to dominate for the whole year, right? Torren loves to see students trying to outdo each other but refrains from stepping in the competition unless the Headmistress also lend a hand; after all, the leader this year, Fenrir, seems to be doing just fine in rallying the males (obviously, he has yet to notice what methods the boy is employing in order to win). Bio: Since Torren is older than his appearance lets on, many don’t believe him when he says that he’s been Headmaster for nearly 7 years. The previous Headmistress, a rather stern Jirachi, reluctantly took the young man under her wing and showed him the ropes of running the school. Torren did a rather splendid job at surprising the older woman when she discovered that yes, he was capable of intelligent thought process and would do the school good when she left. Torren, rather than being appalled by the rivalry between the sexes in the school, encouraged the healthy competition between the two groups. Coming from an all-boys academy where he received both his elementary education and teaching degree, he loves seeing students duke it out ‘just like at home’. However, little is known about his homeland or his past and few have found the need to enquire into it. Extra: Torren has a bit of a sweet tooth, and should a student enter his office, the first thing he’ll do is offer them a sweet of some kind. Through the Kyogre Gijinka is quite powerful, he often lets loose his powers unintentionally in very odd ways. Some examples of this are flash floods whenever he yawns, claps of thunder followed by heavy rain when he laughs and even fog when he dozes off. Additionally, should he be aggravated or displeased, the temperature around the school tends to drop a few degrees. ------------------------------------ Name: Mademoiselle Tea Centis [ Pronounced “Tee-ya Sen-tis; Called Madam Centis by students ] Age: 24. Gender: Female. Alignment: Tends to lean towards the Girls. Gijinka Sub-Species: Scolipede. School Year: French Teacher. Appearance: —x—Personality: Madam Centis comes off as quiet and aloof, often allowing students to do whatever they please in her class. She won’t intervene in fights, will keep her nose in her own business and treats everyone impartially. Her words are curt and to the point, though a bit soft-spoken, as are her lessons. However, on the flip side, she’s vey strict and has no mercy for students that dare to break her classroom rules; most of them tend to revolve around tardiness, as it is one of the few things that she can’t stand. Nevertheless, Madam Centis always welcomes students to ask her questions should the language confuse the, although this habit is certainly more prevalent within the first years. Despite her stern demeanour whenever her rules are involved, Madam Centis is in actually, a very generous marker. She’ll even allow students to make up projects and resubmit assignments in order to bump their grade up, and won’t hesitate to do multiple exam reviews if needed. Though one wouldn’t expect this from her demure appearance, Madam Centis has a few passive-aggressive tendencies, mainly never depending on others and never engaging in intimate acts. In fact, the male students who are brave enough to try and hit on will attest to this, seeing as she seems to show no romantic interest in anyone. Bio: Madam Centis used to attend Hazelwood, but switched schools halfway through her education. She transferred to France for her later years of education, mainly due to her ill grandparents that wanted to see her during their last few years. Always a quiet girl, even as a Venipede, she kept to herself for most of the time though she was the most content either alone or in school. Eventually, after completing her school education, she moved back to where she grew up to complete teacher’s college. Soon after getting her diploma, she heard that the French teacher position back at Hazelwood had recently opened up. Deciding to give the job a shot, she was quickly accepted and made a facet within school life. However, instead of being renowned for her exceptional French skills, she instead became infamous for her class rules and her harsh reactions to those who broke them. Extra: Despite having lived in France, Madam Centis does not have a French accent when she speaks English. She prefers to stay within the Academy ground instead of leaving to visit Hazelwood Village or the nearby Dead Woods. And yes, she can walk in those shoes. -------------------------- Name: Mr. Horus Archer. Age: 29. Gender: Male. Alignment: Neutral. Gijinka Sub-Species: Blaziken. School Year: Music Teacher. Appearance: —x—Personality: Mr. Archer may come off as gruff and unyielding, but he does have a softer side to him. He would never push a student to do something that they’re uncomfortable with, unless he knows that they have the ability to do it. He’s very big on respect for both himself and others, and won’t be very nice to those who don’t show consideration for others. Despite being one of the younger teachers, he refuses to take anything from anyone, even his students (to be blunt, he doesn’t take shit from anybody). Nevertheless, he’ll always respect his student’s opinions and will always take them into consideration whenever making decisions. He’s always trying new lesson plans in class, though they don’t work out all of the time. Moreover, his projects and assignments tend to have a more relaxed marking scheme, but that does not mean students should put less effort into them. Mr. Archer will get grumpy if someone comments on his smoking, however, seeing as he goes through almost a pack a day. As a result, the classroom tends to smell of cigarette smoke, but that’s what air fresheners are for. Bio: Even when he attended Hazelwood as a child, he never involved himself in the ‘Gender War’ so to speak, seeing as he wasn’t going to squabble with girls or take orders from anyone. After graduating, he first took a few music courses in University before deciding to become a Music teacher; that’s when he dropped out and enrolled in teacher’s college. Heading back to Hazelwood with a diploma in hand, he easily landed the job and has been teaching for the past 5 years. Extra: Of course, being the Music teacher, he’s adept at playing a myriad of instruments in many different styles. Additionally, despite the fact that he’s always seen with a cigarette in his mouth, his baritone voice still rings clear. He also has perfect pitch, so he’s never off tune and has the ability to correct others if they’re sharp or flat. -------------------------------------- Name: Mrs. Bernice Saurdra [ Pronounced “Sar-dra” ] Age: 44. Gender: Female. Alignment: Girls, but can vary depending on school rumours. Gijinka Sub-Species: Venesaur. School Year: Art Teacher. Appearance: —x—Personality: Mrs. Saurdra is the motherly figure within the school, often treating students and other faculty members as her family. As an Art teacher, she firmly believes that by nurturing creativity through compassion, one’s artistic abilities will blossom. The Venusaur Gijinka is very big on expression and always encourages students to think outside of the box whenever completing projects or assignments. She’s open to all ideas and is more than willing to hear a student out on a new idea or opinion that they want to state for the class. On the other hand, she doesn’t approve of those who put down other’s opinions. Despite her kind demeanour, Mrs. Saurdra is a bit vain and doesn’t like to get dirty during art projects, nor is she very fond of dirt overall. She has a small impish side, often teasing students should they act out or pique her interest. Additionally, the grass type is very big on gossip and rumours, so she’s the first person you should go to if you want to get in on the hearsay. Unfortunately, Mrs. Saurdra can be a bit picky with her marks from time to time and will even favour students depending on the talk going around the school. Bio: Though Mrs. Saudra didn’t attend Hazelwood as a child, after completing her degree and applying for the position, she found that she fit right in within the community. One of the more veteran teachers (though she’ll vehemently deny being one of the oldest), she has seen many students, teachers and Heads enter and leave the building. During one of the few vacations that she takes every now and then, she ran into the dashing Venusaur Gijinka that she would later marry in one of the more populated cities. From that point on, the woman was forced to take multiple maternity leaves, seeing as she later became the matriarch of a very large family. Some of her older children have even begun to attend Hazelwood, though they’ll also vehemently deny being related to her. Currently, while she works, the rest of her family lives in the main city, supported by her working husband; Mrs. Saurdra also takes every chance she can get to visit the man. Extra: To date, Mrs. Saurdra has given birth to more than 10 children and even a few sets of twins. It’s rumoured that another child is on the way, but no confirmation has been given by her. The rest of the staff has yet to comment too. --------------------------------- Name: Mr. Zakiel Platium. [ Pronouned “Zae-kiel” ] Age: Debatable; every time someone asks, he gives them a math problem to solve in which the answer will be his age, but it’ll always have a different answer that needs to be multiplied by pi. His records, on the other hand, say 36. Gender: Male. Alignment: Neutral. Gijinka Sub-Species: Metagross. School Year: Math Teacher. Appearance: —x—Personality: Mr. Platium seems devoid of any emotion seeing as his facial features never seem to change and that instead of speaking, he communicates telepathically with the class. However, this is far from the truth seeing as he’s actually quite empathetic and will be quick to sympathise with students. Obviously, he’s very proficient at math, seeing as his brain functions similarly to a supercomputer when it comes to calculating digits. It helps that his physic powers amplify his mental functions; Mr. Platium also uses his abilities to write on the chalkboard, hand out tests and even pick up students should they disrupt his lesson. As a result, his classes are more likely to be on the quiet side, seeing as both he and his students tend to refrain from talking during Math lessons. Even though one wouldn’t expect this from the older man, the Metagross is surprisingly open and doesn’t mind it when students pry into his personal life. However, that doesn’t mean that he’ll necessarily answer the question. It should be noted that Mr. Platium is prone to including puns in his assignments and tests, to the chagrin of his students. Bio: Not much is known about Mr. Platium; he never attended Hazelwood and he’s stayed relatively low key during his 12 year career at the Academy. The majority of the faculty see him as an enigma as well. Extra: Oddly enough, he’s in a ‘complicated’ relationship with one of the Village Gijinka; it’s rumoured that she’s a rather feisty Arcanine. He also has great respect for Mr. Rosenthal, the Science teacher, and would love to challenge him to a game of chess or something of the sort. ---------------------------------- Name: Mr. Darrius Hale. Age: 26. Gender: Male. Alignment: Guys. Gijinka Sub-Species: Mismagius. School Year: History Teacher. Appearance: —x—Personality: Darrius loves to talk, whether it be about ancient civilizations, past catastrophes or even what he had for dinner last night. By nature, he’s a regular chatterbox, but tends to keep these urges in check by turning the subject back to History and whatnot. He also genuinely enjoys teaching and children, so he’ll be the first to beam in pride should a student ace a test or finally understand the complex workings of the culture within Sinnoh. Darrius is always open to and even encourages questions about anything, even his worldly travels, though he’ll be quick to link it back to what he’s teaching. Despite being a nice guy, Darries tends to have a few mischievous tendencies from time to time, such as switching up the seating plan or placing ‘special objects’ in students’ desks before they come into class. Whenever he teaches a class, he’ll never fail to state what he expects from them and never changes his mind so as to be fair to the students. Additionally, he’ll always stay true to his word when it comes to explaining what’s on exams or future projects. However, when student’s don’t do what’s expected of them or take advantage of the opportunities that he gives them, he becomes a very harsh marker. Bio: Darrius attended Hazelwood as a child and even became the second in command to the leader of the Boys during his last year. Throughout his stay at the Academy, Darrius’s father would fund both the Academy and the Boy’s activities, making it blatantly clear that the Gijinka was rather well off. As soon as he graduated, instead of staying at home to live a cushy life, he left to travel the world to study different cultures and histories first hand. Despite the fact that he didn’t need to pursue a job after his education, he eventually came to love children and teaching. After touring the world, he came back to Hazelwood to teach students; it should be noted that even if Darrius doesn’t know it, his father continues to fund the Academy. Extra: Darrius actually requests students and staff call him by his first name, mainly because ‘Mr. Hale’, to him, will always be reserved for his father. That, and he doesn’t want people in the Academy to make the connection between him and his family name. He’ll also respond to Mr. Darrius. He also likes to dress up in historical garb every now and then, though his clothing always tends to be varying shades of violet. Moreover, he’s taken a shining to the new English teacher, Ms. Walton. ---------------------------------- Name: Ms. Johanna Tschaikowski. [ Pronounced “Yo-hanna chah-ee-KOV-skee” ] Age: 30. Gender: Female. Alignment: Neutral. Gijinka Sub-Species: Swanna. School Year: Dance & Drama Teacher. Appearance: —x—Personality: Mr. Tschaikowski is, through and through, a perfectionist and always expects the best from her students. She can be a bit domineering at times, but only because she wants nothing less for her class. However, she’s willing to be more lenient on the younger students so that they’ll continue to take Dance & Drama. She’s very passionate about dance and theatre, but restrains herself form bursting out into applause every time a student make her proud. She’s also quick to compliment those who succeed and appreciates any and all effort put into her class. Unfortunately, Ms. Tschaikowski is easily fooled and is just a bit too trusting, leading some students to take advantage of her in this sense. Nevertheless, she’s able to perform many dance styles, but not ballet despite her appearance. Her acting skills are also first rate, and she’ll often recite lines from the occasional play whenever she gets into the mood. Bio: As a young girl, Johanna had always been interested in dance and theatre. Even though she grew up in a different country, her love for the subject didn’t falter and actually grew when she applied for a job at Hazelwood. Though she did leave the school for a year to go teach elsewhere, she eventually came back and has stayed at Hazelwood ever since; she’s also fond of organizing musicals and drama productions whenever she gets enough interest. Extra: Ms. Tshaikowski has a slight German lilt in her tone; she also seems to be fond of the P.E. teacher, Mr. Walker. She claims, though that it’s just because they’re both avians. Students tend to call her “Ms. T” or “Ms. Tshai” due to the length of her last name. EDIT;; Just an insignificant question; what do you guys see as my avatar? It's supposed to be a moving really cute/hot guy in normal colours, but keep seeing him in white...

Hey everyone, just dropping by to post the reaming Headmistress and teacher profiles off. I'll make a proper reply tomorrow, as well as probably build on the profiles just a teensy bit. By the way, just so you guys know, Runi had a little bit of trouble with Ms. Walton's appearance. Please let me know if there's a hassle so that I can do my best to fix it (even though it works perfectly for me), or, if you can provide a working link yourself, all the better Headmistress & Teachers (click to showhide) Name: Ms. Helena Pierce Age: 26 Gender: Female Alignment: Female Gijinka Sub-Species: Groudon Position: Headmistress Appearance: ReferencePersonality: Possessing a rather extreme work ethic, if Helena finds herself with a job to do, she will see it through to the end without letting anything else get in her way, even if it means melting someone’s face off. She is both heavily self reliant, and ridiculously quick tempered, meaning that when someone offers to help her, her 6’02’’ figure will almost always reply with a booming “no”, followed by the temperature of whatever room she’s in increase by a good five or six degrees (centigrade). One of the things that really agitates her, as in practically go on a rampage, is when people comment about her being relatively young and inexperienced for a headmistress. Since when on Earth did being old and senile make you a better headmistress? Having a healthy mind is one of the key features needed to shoulder the responsibilities of a headmistress, especially when the headmaster is as dozy as Torren… Extra: Was previously a leader for the girls. While she was very much more along the lines of a ‘Fenrir-esque’ leader than a ‘Shaeree-esque’ one in terms of her predominant personality, she was actually willing to listen to the problems other girls had and help them if she could. However, after having lost to the males that year, she denounced that side of her after viewing it to be the reasoning behind her loss. As such, she is very much business driven now, focusing much more on the management of grades and materials rather than student’s personal problems. The latter she has very much left in the hands of the female’s student leader, some girl called ‘Shaeree Merrick’. When ‘Mistress Helena’, as she is known around the academy, goes off on one of her little ‘rampages’, you most certainly wouldn’t want to be anywhere near her. When she does so, Sandstorms begin to sweep through the corridors of the Academy, and anywhere in her vicinity becomes extremely hot, anything which comes into contact with her body either burns, or simply melts. There are numerous discoloured footprints on the stone floors of the academy where the young lady has been walking during one of these fits, a few remaining signs of her quite frankly mind boggling powers. On top of this, she won’t think twice about lashing out at someone if they even try to talk to her while she’s having one of her little tantrums. Hell, she won’t even think once, it’ll just happen, and by Arceus you better hope the blow doesn’t connect with you… ------------------------------------ Name: Ms. Ashley Walton Age: 21 Gender: Female Alignment: Neutral Gijinka Sub-Species: Altaria Position: English Teacher Appearance: ReferenceReference 2Personality: She is quite timid, meaning she isn’t all that assertive in class. is usually bewildered if students start talking in the middle of class. However, when she comes to the point when she ‘asks’ for quiet, she lets loose an ear piercing shriek that stops all conversations dead. Like many an English teacher, she is able to see deep behind the meanings of things people say and write, sometimes even deriving meanings that simply aren’t there. As such, this either leads her to be able to read someone exceptionally well by their writing or speech, or simply come to a conclusion which while having some logic behind it, couldn’t be further from the truth. Extra: The Academy’s newest, least experienced teacher, who has just started her first semester as a teacher. She has the most beautiful singing voice out of all people in the academy, even amongst the music staff. Her initial intentions were to in fact become a music teacher; however, since she struggled with the instrumental side of things (aside from keyboard and piano, to which she managed to achieve a grade 7), she decided to opt for her second love instead, the English language. ------------------------------------ Name: Dr. Arnold Rosenthal Age: 62 Gender: Male Alignment: Neutral Gijinka Sub-Species: Raikou Position: Science Teacher Appearance: ReferencePersonality: Never the type to cut someone down in a class if they get a question completely wrong, instead, tries to explain where the student went wrong, and where they can build on it. Occasionally, he can explain things too quickly and leave most students in class wondering just what on Earth he just said, though he’ll quite happily explain again at a slower pace if someone asks him, as well as draw visual aids if necessary, though these are always drawn in an almost robotic fashion. Dr. Rosenthal takes a lot of pride in his work, seeing as how he views science in general to be not just his hobby, but also as simply ‘the way forward’. “If it wasn’t for scientists, we simply wouldn’t be where we are today” is one of the little phrases that he very often comes out with, a belief which he does indeed believe to be very much the true. Extra: The school veteran teacher. He has an I.Q. beyond comprehension, which actually puts quite a few ego-inflated Alakazam Gijinka to shame, combined with a true understanding of the way life works from his life experiences. Despite being the school’s ‘old man’, by no means is Dr. Rosenthal some slow old codger. Contrary to popular belief, this old man can run rings around many of the students here at the academy, as well as give you quite the nasty shock if you feel brave enough to comment on how his senile old brain simply isn’t cut out for his job. ------------------------------------ Name: Mrs. Agatha Reynolds Age: 51 Gender: Female Alignment: Neutral Gijinka Sub-Species: Froslass Position: Geography Teacher Appearance: ReferencePersonality: Can occasionally be caught with her mind wandering as she ponders the state of the Earth at any given moment in time. Very often goes off on a tangent in classes. She possesses thorough knowledge of the effect of climate changes and the Earth’s geometry, frequently confirms changes in such with the school’s Headmistress and Headmaster. Every now and again, her old age will show as she forgets the names of students, or even forget just what she has planned to take place in the day’s lesson. As such, she has a written down seating plan for each of the classes available on her desk, as well as an itinerary for the day’s lessons. Extra: Due to her Gijinka species, she has a mask-like bone structure on her face which helps to hide her aging face, as well as the fact that she wears an outfit that pretty much conceals her entire body, it is pretty hard to guess her age by simply looking at her. This is something she is most certainly quite grateful for. ------------------------------------ Name: Mr. Matthew Walker Age: 26 Gender: Male Alignment: Neutral (Has a few male-favourable prejudices) Gijinka Sub-Species: Staraptor Position: P.E. Teacher Appearance: ReferencePersonality: Works first years into routines lightly, but really pushes seventh years to their limits. As such, latter years see him as a slave driver, while the earlier ones see him as a P.E. teacher who is simply too good to be true. Doesn’t accept ‘I can’t do it as an answer’, since he has a very refined ability to gauge a person’s physical abilities by simply looking at their physique, though he typically expects much more from the male students than he does females. He posses many ‘old fashioned’ views implemented by his parents which, while he knows are wrong, he simply can’t shake them. Many of these prejudice views would nowadays be downright sexism, but given the nature of the academy and how many a teacher often gets involved helping students with the fortnightly challenges, he’s managed to pass it off as simply banter, intended to spur the females on to overcome their rivals. For example, when addressing a female in one of his lessons who seems to be unable to continue with any further exercise, it wouldn’t be overly rare for him to say something along the lines that he doesn’t really ‘expect anything less from a girl’. Extra: Never seems to come into school dressed casually. He is always seen wearing some kind of shirt and tie, even if he does not wear them properly. A little shorter than most male teachers, standing at a mere 5’07’’. ------------------------------------ Name: Ms. Cheryl Skylar Age: 24 Gender: Female Alignment: Neutral (Has a few female-favourable prejudices) Gijinka Sub-Species: Ariados Position: Media Teacher Appearance: ReferencePersonality: Used to getting what she wants, and usually finds the means to get it. She is most certainly aware of her natural beauty, and is not too shy of using it to influence the actions of male students, or even the odd female. Typically though, she’ll normally only dare to act like this in front of male members of the academy, mainly the members of staff as opposed to the students, though she’s not so ‘shy’ when it comes to the seniors. For the most part though, she doesn’t really need to do that much to persuade the hormone-rich male students. Her looks are more than enough to persuade pretty much any boy to do what she wants, though if push comes to shove, she can always bat her eyelashes at them. Occasionally, if she needs to talk to one of the ‘delinquent’ students after class, rather than risk them leaving the class before she has chance to talk to them, she will instead leave a few microscopic strands of silk on their seat, leaving them stuck to the seat so that she can ‘have a word’ with them (some male students have been known to misbehave just to get this chance). After experiencing these little chats, the students never seem to look at Cheryl in the same way. In fact, they never seem to even look at them. Why? That’s just one of the many mysteries surrounding the academy… Extra: Ex-model, renowned for making the jaws of boys quite literally drop, her sensual voice not usually helping matters very much. Knows all about how to manipulate people’s minds, and is quite good at it herself. She views males to have rather one-track minds when it comes to dealing with a lady who happens to have a pretty face, thinking that they want nothing more than a ‘good time’, a view which has built over her time as a model, and was also the reason for her resignation from the job. ------------------------------------ Name: Mr. Kiyoshi Makoto Age: 31 Gender: Male Alignment: Neutral Gijinka Sub-Species: Lucario Position: Sparring Teacher Appearance: ReferencePersonality: A very open minded teacher who never goes into any conversation with any form of bias. If you want to talk to someone a little more experienced than your student leader for advice, but feel a little apprehensive about approaching your head teacher, Mr. Makoto is the man to approach. He is able to quite easily put himself in the shoes of his students, and very often requests that rather than call him Mr. Makoto, that they instead refer to him as Kiyoshi, to make discussions seem like they are taking place between two equals. Understanding that inflicting injuries on others isn’t for everyone, It’s not rare for him to simply teach a student how to defend themselves, rather than simply outright attack. However, when he does this, he usually uses what a student has learnt when it comes to defending themselves, and explains how such techniques can be used offensively instead of just defensively. Obviously, it is still up to the student whether they should use these techniques or not, but it does help to at least know how to use them. Extra: Able to use literally every move at a Lucario’s disposal, currently in his prime. If he actually tried, not a single student would be able to hold their own against him at all, never mind actually win. The only ones that can are a handful of the teaching staff, and the head teachers.

Madam Centis will probably dislike Beth and Michelle to a certain extent because Beth will end up spending the entire class measuring the distance between desks sometimes which would involve not following the main rule of most classes of sitting down and Michelle would help her, notice something shiny in the class, and then spend the rest of the class poking at the shiny thing. Mitchie might also be late at times because she can forget where she is going and get lost. XD
Helena might also dislike Mitchie just because she will probably offer to help her whenever she sees her because she likes to help. XD
Mitchie also probably won't get along Jeremy because of his desire to squish poor little Bug Pokemon. Hell, she would probably get angry at him after saving them from his wrath, and would even risk getting shocked and/or burnt by Dray and Shelia to defend them. Mitchie is generally nice to anyone whether she likes them or not but Jeremy...I think she would threaten to shove his face against a grinder if he kept trying to do things like that. XD

@Dark - Correction; the Headmaster is a water legendary that accidentally makes it rain [i]inside the classrooms[/s] when his stomach growls. Shelia, beware. Even if he doesn't mean it >: Oh god keep Helena and Shelia away from each other i am not messing with that >: @Sammie - Hope you feel better soon ! Well, i actually have Madam Centis' list of rules here with me, all typed up; i couldn't find a place to throw them in, but here they are! Madam Centis' Class Rules (click to showhide) 1. Students shall not be late. Tardiness shall result in the filling out of a late slip, the stacking of chairs if the class is in the morning or afternoon and after-school classroom clean up. Moreover, students who are late forfeit their right to leave the classroom until the lesson is done. 2. Assignments shall not be late unless discussed beforehand with the teacher or given a note from other teachers/the Heads. All late assignments shall have their marks cut by at least 30% on the first day; they will not be accepted after this point. 3. Students shall only write on tests or examinations with black or blue ink, otherwise it will not be marked. 4. Students may only leave the classroom once throughout the duration of the lesson; this break may not surpass 10 minutes in length or they will be treated as tardy. 5. Drawing or defacing class material will not be tolerated. Any student caught drawing on class material will have one percent taken off their final grade per drawing when class material is collected at the end of the semester. 6. Students shall not change the classroom layout. By moving classroom desks or chairs, students forfeit their right to leave the classroom until the lesson is done. 7. Students shall not eat in class. Any student caught eating in class shall sit their lunch out in the French room. 8. All students must comply to these rules; failure to comply will result in a proper form of remonstration.
But unless Beth and Mitchie are breaking these rules directly, Madam Centis won't care C: ...I would love to see that, actually. Jer, so far, has nothing directly involved with him (stuff with Dray doesn't count), so he needs some interaction too and whatnot C: Post Mitchie as soon as you can! I wanna see her ~ @Chaos - Why does Alek only want to get along with water type Teachers? There's some other friendly staff members after all... @Arc - Aieeeee can you please address my not-so-question-like-query about the schedules pretty please? 8D

Mitchie will probably break rule 1 a LOT because of her ADHD making her forget where she is going though she will actually never fail anything in French because she is fluent in it already. She is really just doing it because it is a class she can't fail. XD Beth will break rule 6 only if desks aren't the right distance apart and may break rule 1 if something asymmetrical distracts her on the way. XD I'll finish Mitchie as soon as possible, I just realised I forgot to mention Beth's tail in her profile which will be finished once I add that in. And just because, I mentioned all the subjects she likes and dislikes in two paragraphs in her personality, whether she will have them or not. I shall post it shortly...I hope. I might remember other things I want to add in. XD Elizabeth Russel (click to showhide) Name: Elizabeth Russel, often shortened to Beth, will murder anyone who calls her Betty.
Age: 16 (Birthday is August 13th)
Gender: Female
Alignment: Own gender.
Gijinka Sub-Species: Krokorok
School Year: Six
Appearance: Beth stands at 5'7" and weighs 180lbs because she has a fair bit of muscle from exercising and playing with Michelle though she remains slim. If she decides to wear heels for whatever reason then she usually stands at about 5'10" instead. However, her length from the top of her head to the tip of her tail is 6'2" which would be annoying if you wanted to lock her in a long box that is shorter than that.
Her hair is naturally straight and blonde but she has dyed in orange stripes has it symmetrically cut so that it stops at her shoulders. First thing in the morning though, it looks like a tumbleweed is attached to her head with some strange orange dried grass managing to get stuck in the mess.
Naturally, her eyes are brown and because of the dark shade, it appears that she is is constantly wearing black sunglasses thanks to the black marking on her face that appears as two semi-circles around each eye that connect above her nose. This protects her eyes from the sun by reducing the glare. A thin membrane can cover her eyes if she chooses to make it do so but she can also make it retract again. This membrane allows her to see temperature when it covers her eyes and protects them from sand, dirt and so forth.
Two sharp fangs stick out from her mouth when it is closed and inside hides other equally sharp fangs and teeth which allow her to bite through several hard objects (hard plastic and glass for example, but not strong alloys like steel) and to tear through tough food with ease. Getting close when she is feeling irritated or angry can lead to you getting some pretty holes holes in your arm that will give out a beautiful red liquid. You might want to keep that inside but it is your choice if you want to bleed to death.
Obviously, because I've mentioned it once before, she has a long tail which is several feet long which has exactly five spikes on it and five black stripes that go right around her tail. Three spikes also protrude from her spine and show where three black stripes go around her torso. Plastic covers have been fitted over them so that no one is accidentally harmed by them as she is walking around. Exactly three holes exist at the back of all of her clothes for her spikes to fit through comfortably. Two black patches also exist on her elbows despite the fact no spikes are there.
There is a large variety of different colours and clothes that she will wear depending on the day and her mood. On a down day, she will wear something sandy and black to make her 'just another kid in the hall' as most would say because it matches her tail and the marking on her face. Meanwhile, on a normal day she will wear bright fiery colours to match her fighting spirit but, only bright yellow will be worn if she is happier than normal.
Generally each outfit consists of a long-sleeved shirt of the colour with that specific colour stopping at the elbow and a colour that compliments it continuing to her wrists, though there are some plain coloured ones and a few with simple designs on the front or sleeves. At times, there might be the rare one with straps but that is a type you are highly unlikely to see when it isn't a special event.
Lower wear wise, she is likely to wear plain trousers of a certain colour or ones with stripes down the sides to keep them simple. Usually these have pockets but will never have chains and will never be jeans of any kind. Simple loose trousers that can be quickly changed are easily her style though there are a few choice skirts that she likes and a rare couple of dresses that show off her sexy body. For whatever reason you should catch a glimpse under one of her skirts or dresses, you will see bright red underwear and get smacked by her if the way you see them doesn't involve her doing a flip, a roll, or sitting in a manner which reveals them.
Naturally, her footwear varies depending on the actual outfit she has on. With her normal shirt and trousers combination, she has lots of different coloured trainers while for a skirt and shirt combination she will have different styled trainers, flat shoes and sandals. However, for the far rarer occasions where she puts on a dress, she has high heels in a few different colours.
At all times, her socks worn with any type of shoes will be white or orange and will be completely logoless. Normally her socks only reach to her ankles because she also is usually wearing trousers.
For swimwear she would wear a simple bikini and murder anyone that tried to undo the top half and for sportwear, she will just wear shirts with sleeves that only cover the shoulders and tight shorts that only reach mid-thigh.
If the need for a jacket arises, she will either not wear one or will just wear her thin black one because she prefers thin ones to overly thick ones that would make her too hot. It has a collar than can be popped up but it does not have a hood and it has two pockets that can be zipped up.
Personality: Beth is someone that could seem far too focused on following a schedule and getting things 'perfect'. However, this is simply because she has OCD which she finds hard to control. If she breaks her schedule or is forced to break her schedule, then it visibly upsets her more and more until she finally has a mental breakdown. These mental breakdowns always lead to her completely rewriting her schedule to even include activities she despises just to keep herself on schedule so that she can function normally in her own standards. Changing it back can be just as damaging for her as having to change it in the first place if not changed slowly and steadily.
Her mind can't handle stress very well so to prevent the stress of breaking schedule, she has a schedule for every single day of the week, schedules for every specific kind of holiday, and a second copy of each so she can lay them out symmetrically on her desk to remind herself. Often they just simply tell her to do what she likes after school but waking up early, staying up late, waking up late, or going to bed early all break schedule. Sudden events during school that disrupt the lessons also break schedule. Though these things are impossible to predict, it will still upset her and cause her to feel unsafe and fidgety.
Surprisingly, she is actually laid back despite her schedules and doesn't really like when people are all serious about ordering life. In fact, she actually hates scheduling her own days and knows that there is no rational reason for her wanting to because if she didn't have OCD, she wouldn't care. Usually she is more likely to act like a cheerful idiot than act serious about pretty much anything unless it absolutely requires seriousness.
Though her actions can make her seem like an idiot, it is often just because she doesn't think things through and almost never applies her knowledge to a situation. However, she is actually incredibly knowledgeable and fairly intelligent thanks to her OCD because it allows her to pick out complex patterns or invent her own to remember all information she comes across. Everything she knows is connected to at least one other piece of information she knows even if the reason is completely obscure and doesn't make sense to anyone except herself.
One word that describes her perfectly is courageous. No matter how dangerous or risky a task may be, she would gladly do it even if it required fighting a room full of Gijinka that are strong against her types. The only thing she will never risk despite her vast courage her hands. Why? Because she requires her hands to make things symmetrical and she would rather die than have only one hand or no hands. Truthfully, the loss of her hands is the only thing she fears in the entire world.
Normally it takes quite a bit of pushing at her buttons to make her angry but if you mess with her friends, then you are asking for her to lose it instantly. Though she can tell friend from foe, her anger usually causes rather intense earthquakes quite quickly if you don't do a 180 within the first ten seconds, apologise, and get out of her sight. Of course the earthquakes aren't random, they are caused by her tail slamming on the ground which causes her to use Earthquake without trying to and the intensity depends on how hard her tail slams on the ground. Sand has a tendency to swirl around her too until she calms down. Some people would see the way she deals with anger as a reason to tell her off but that is actually a very bad idea when you are dealing with angry Beth. Angry Beth isn't that loveable silly girl with OCD, she is the person with sharp teeth, a strong tail and a terrifying glare who won't hesitate to bite holes into your arm if you approach. Acting submissive and keeping a distance is better at calming her down than daring to take even a single step near her.
Beth is a very sporty and competitive person with her favourite sports being all that involve teams because it means she can be cheered on by others but also cheer others on. Hell, if you want anyone cheering for you, it is Elizabeth Russel because she will encourage you even if you mess up most of the time and will do it both louder and prouder than most would dare. Despite the fact she is competitive and will attempt movements that could injure her just to avoid losing, she isn't a sore loser, even if it is a victory for the male side. After all, it would still just be a game at the end of the day, though she would fix her hair to be symmetrical again and change clothes afterwards if they got dirty.
As someone with OCD, she has one main problem besides her need to schedule things and to write things in a very straight manner, and that is her obsession with symmetry. Whenever something isn't symmetrical, she may act silly and happy but that is simply because she is hiding the fact that it makes her feel unsafe and worried that something bad might happen. Either she can attempt to ignore it which will cause her to become increasingly twitchy or she can fix it. If the problem happens to be the amount of space between desks, she can spend hours measuring and remeasuring to make sure they are the same distance apart from each other and she won't be able to 'just stop', she will HAVE to do it over and over until she is 100% sure.
Of course some people will assume she can just stop and is just being weird on purpose but she has no ability to stop it. Her worried thoughts take all control and don't let her stop once she has started which can cause her to feel miserable when it causes her to be late to an event or to entirely miss it. Not many people would be cruel enough to call her out on it but when they do, she often ends up hating herself and her OCD, though not the people calling her out or her dad who actually gave her OCD.
Sadness is an emotion she doesn't handle very well or easily so she relies on her cousin Michelle to cheer her up which she does incredibly easily. They have a very close bond despite the fact Beth focuses too much on minor things and Michelle can't focus on anything that isn't shiny.
A very strange quality about her is that anything with large quantities of sugar can make her act like a complete lunatic. This has nothing to do with hyperactivity because sugar does not cause hyperactivity, people just think it does so they see children that have more sugar as more hyper when they aren't. Truthfully, she just instantly develops an addiction and she will believe basically anything relating to sugar if told so after having sugar. If someone gets in the way of sugar, she won't hesitate to harm them if they get in the way. Unless someone forces her to have sugar, she will refuse it and stick to a strict diet to keep her having large quantities.
Though she isn't the biggest fan of dancing in the world, she does like it and if asked to dance she would show surprising skill with both a partner and alone. Partly this is because dancing tends to involve repetitive patterns for her to pick out but, it is also because her dad taught her several. She was actually quite lucky to be taught how to dance by him because he normally kept that side to himself. However, she is best at dancing when doing it with Michelle because even when it isn't a dance that requires a partner, they can dance in perfect sync with each other just simply because Beth knows Michelle's most likely pattern of movement. It is unlikely for you to see her dancing though because she often refuses to unless someone questions her ability to do so.
Oddly for someone that fits the persona of a tough girl, her favourite type of music is classical and she is quite skilled at playing both the piano and violin though she has also learned to play an electric guitar, and because it is so similar to piano, she worked out how to play the keyboard. Sometimes she will alternate between instruments if she has to play in front of people just to give it a more unique vibe than if it was simply of one genre of music alone but again, she is best at this when Michelle is with her.
Another odd quality she has for the way she acts is a love of baking. The fact she can't have a lot of sugar does mean she can't have any usually but that doesn't bother her and she is likely to offer it to whoever passes her by while she is carrying it. Often it is in a box and usually contains cake or muffins though she is also known to make cookies, cupcakes and biscuits on occasion. To hide the lack of symmetry from herself, she puts them in boxes quickly after they are finished.
Not much in the world has earned the dislike of Elizabeth Russel, not even Pokemon that are strong against her or normally disturbing to look at. The main thing she dislikes is people that try to bully others for who they are simply because they have a mental disorder or act differently from normal people. Normally you wouldn't think they would back off if someone with a mental disorder approached but, her OCD allows her to pick out patterns in the way they act and can reveal things to her that normal people wouldn't notice and helps her teach them to back off.
There are a few other dislikes she has though such as dirt, grime, and cold weather. For Michelle, she might play in the rain for a while or even in snow but her tail will swish to show her lack of comfort because it will rapidly lose heat more than her other body parts. This can get her called an idiot but she would rather be a happy idiot than an unhappy genius any day, even if it can lead to her being ill. Another dislike she has is of subtle changes to a room because it can cause her to feel like she has wandered into a new world until she notices what has been changed.
Due to her OCD, even when unwell she will try to stick to her normal schedule for the day which can be quite difficult depending on how unwell she actually is. Some wonder why she doesn't have a schedule for when she is unwell but it is simply because she can't tell how long it will last or when it will appear.
Usually when asked what they like to eat, someone will say a specific taste or type of food, but this girl's answer is very simple, she will eat absolutely anything. However, she does tend to avoid highly sweet things to keep herself from having too much sugar with an exception for strawberries and cherries which she finds hard to resist.
Subjects are easily classed by her without a second thought. The subjects with the most connections, patterns and logic such as Maths and Science are easily her favourites while subjects like Geography and History sit between like and dislike because though they don't have a million patterns, they have connections which she uses as a pattern to remember things. However, she despises Art and Drama because they don't require logic and don't usually have patterns, which, due to the way her mind works, causes them to be a struggle for her.
Unlike some people who would despise P.E. and Sparring class, she actually tries her hardest in them and would gladly tell off anyone that dares to make a sexist comment to other females that aren't as physically capable, even if it is the teachers who say them. Dance is another subject that she likes a lot because it involves exercise, and patterns. Surprisingly, she likes Media class and English though she has trouble with Media class. She also can't write very well creatively in English, but is otherwise fairly good at it. French is an easy enough subject for her but she doesn't particularly like it and doesn't see the point in learning it considering she doesn't plan on going somewhere that people speak French only.
Music is an odd subject for her mind to handle. Naturally, she likes that it because it involves patterns but, adding her own spin to it can be difficult. Therefore, she prefers just playing already written music and will do so quite happily on any instrument she can play.
Bio: Beth was born to a fairly short Houndoom Gijinka father and a rather tall Krookodile mother who both loved her dearly. Most of the time, it was her father looking after her because he doted on her and her mother was often out working or sleeping off hangovers. This caused a stronger bond to form between her and her father than with her mother but they still all loved each other none the less.
At a very young age she was introduced to her cousin Michelle and they got on very well though they quickly developed their individually odd habits. Both were taught by their fathers how to dance at the same time and quickly learned how to do so in sync by watching their fathers do so perfectly. Usually Beth and Michelle are on completely different wavelengths so it is quite amazing to see them when they are on the same one.
During her days off, Beth's mother taught her how to bake and cook while her father taught her how to play the piano. Everything was perfect, until Beth became old enough to act on her OCD compulsions. It drove her mother up the wall when both Beth and her father would constantly be moving around furniture to try to settle their different worries until she eventually lost it and filed for divorce, declaring that she never wanted to see either again.
Though it made him depressed for a while, her father got back up and got a job as a police officer for while but quit quickly because of the erratic hours and instead got a job as an accountant. Naturally, he kept some time aside everyday for his daughter who was always very well behaved for her uncle and enjoyed the time with Michelle too.
Nothing was as perfect as before, but Beth was happy enough with her life and never hated her dad or herself for her mother leaving. At least twice her mother tried to return but though they gave her the chances, she couldn't handle it and finally decided to just leave and not look back. Since Beth stopped caring about her the first time she was abandoned by her, she didn't care when she finally left for good and was actually happy that they were finally left in peace to live their lives.
Eventually, when Beth was about ten, her father started to try looking for love again while she took lessons on how to play the violin and electric guitar. His serious attitude attracted a stunningly beautiful Arcanine Gijinka who loves everything about him from his seriousness to his soft heart. The only problem is that she has a burning hate of girls that like to clean and bake because it makes the stereotype that women belong in the kitchen seem true so she has tried to encourage depressed thoughts in Beth so that she would run away or suicide just to be rid of her.
Only one thing stopped her feeling need to do either: her cousin Michelle. Thanks to Michelle's cheerful attitude and encouragement, she is very self-confident which is the exact opposite of what the canine Gijinka desired. To try to remedy the confidence, she would abuse her physically and verbally to try to scare her off but all this did was teach her how to defend herself better and how to ignore insults. Whenever her father appeared, they both pretended to be the best of friends to keep him happy though he was often concerned as to how Beth kept getting injured and fussed over her.
During her first three years at the Academy, she would frequently visit home to see her father and would also visit her uncle and aunt but, after her stepmother (her father married her the Summer before her third year) threatened to kill her and Michelle if she returned to see her father again, she stopped visiting and just sent letters.
After evolving in her third year, she spent a few weeks being completely unable to read because the membrane on her eyes had changed to allow her to see temperature, causing a lot of inanimate objects to appear blue which meant pages looked completely blank to her even when they had writing on them. Everything confused her and she didn't like how hard it was to tell different people that looked similar apart. Suddenly though, she accidentally managed to retract them, causing her to blink in confusion before she realised that they were retractable and acted as a third eyelid (some birds have an extra eyelid which is used to prevent water getting in their eyes which is just called a third eyelid I think and it covers it sideways).
In her fifth year, she received a death threat from her stepmother again, this time threatening to cut off her hands and then leave her to die if she didn't cut off all contact with her dad which left her no choice but to stop contacting him just to keep him happy.
Every week she receives a worried letter from her father asking her to contact him and sometimes, she gets a pleading voicemail on her cellphone, but she doesn't respond to either, though she does stuff the letters in her pillow to feel close to him, some of which haven't even been opened.
To date, only Michelle actually know why Beth refuses to return home and is also the only one that knows she hates the name 'Betty' because her stepmother calls her it. She is also the only one that knows that she puts her letters in her pillow to keep them safe.
Extra: Though most of her attacks are ground, normal and dark types, she can also give a nasty Fire Fang or a staggering Thunder Fang if you get too close. This allows Beth to defeat a greater variety of Gijinka which, thanks to her ability Moxie, makes her stronger each time, making it harder to defeat her.
Despite the fact that her OCD can help her predict movements and retain knowledge through pattern, when fighting, it can be a giant hindrance if the person knows how to mess with it. People that use a lot of feints and barely ever actually attack for instance can screw with her head and make her have a mental breakdown out of pure confusion making everything seem too hard for her. It isn't seen as a victory if the other person has a mental breakdown in her book though which makes her likely to request a rematch on those grounds.
Generally she doesn't tell people her birthday because she doesn't want anyone to give her cake that would tempt her to have sugar and she doesn't really care much about receiving gifts.
Often she carries a tape measure with her so she can measure the distance between objects.
If I mention that she doesn't like dancing but then that she does in it, that is because I forgot she does like dancing so I said she didn't but then I remembered that she does in my mind. I also might give her an allergy or two later on. XD

Everyone - Right, group effort people. Shelia and Helena cannot be allowed in the same room. Ever. Otherwise, we risk the Academy being melted/buried in sand/asploded all-together, which ain't gonna be fun for anyone. Dark - The heat may well make her fire type attacks stronger, but also consider the fact that Helena possesses a fair few abilities Shelia won't like to be on the recieving end. Then, ontop of that, there's also the matter that SHE'S A FREAKING GROUDON GIJINKA RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGH So yeah... um, don't let Shelia get on the wrong side of her. I'd rather Dray and Jer not have to search the academy to find all the little bits that once resembled their beloved Flareon Gijinka... Sam - Accepted~ Runi - Oh right, shit. Sorry :/ Erm, so yes, eight exams. That's not all that many in my experience really, I'm used to having something like 11 or twelve at the end of semesters, and that was just at high school. No, it's not all that fun, but is school (the educational side anyway) really meant to be that fun? XD Obviously though, not all subjects would have assessments every semester, and as you said, not all subjects would even have exams (not written ones anyway, I mean, P.E. would still have practical assessments and such. Anyway, I think we'll just deal with exams when the time comes. Yeah? I think I'll give you a question now actually, just to even things up a bit~ The start of the RP... how do you wanna do it? I'm getting a bit sick of starting all these RPs with some kind of Headteachers address (or adresses in this case), do you think it would be worth starting the RP just after the addresses? Or maybe even a couple of days into the first week?

Shelia really is brave/bone-headed enough to stand up to Helena. She's more prone to insult and taunt her than be scared and run away, really... XD
In fact, I'm leaning towards Shelia being rather... well-known in the school, for better or for worse. The "holy shit don't fuck with her" kind of well-known for students while it's more of a "oh God not her again" for the teachers. XD
I think I may have forgotten to put this in her profile, but Shelia's not afraid to say what she thinks (in fact, she may say it rudely without meaning to) and she has a rather strong sense of justice, so she won't tolerate teachers being unfair to others and such. Sadly, she tends to pick fights with bullies so yeah... Let's just say she knows exactly where Helena's office is. XD
And I think starting after the first few days would be good, yes.
