That's your own opinion. I think Genjutsu would be one of the more useful forms of fighting. Plus, her form couldn't be stopped because of the fact that you can't stop from smelling. And even if you breathe through your mouth instead, she can just send an undetectsble poison through her fragrance and kill them slowly through poisoning them when they breathe it through their mouth.

Well, I hope you put a lot of restrictions on that jutsu, because being like Aizen is NOT a good thing... If you just say that she can make people see what she wants them to see, then she is basically invincible.

Not in that matter of speaking. She can't do that. She uses a variety of smells and fragrances; and depending on the scent she chooses, that are the type of hallucinations they will be seeing.

But that may be innefective in the heat of battle. And if someone can't smell...

All people smell. And if they try to evade smelling, and breathe through their mouth, she can send a toxin into the air, so when they inhale, they intake a great deal of poison and die that way, or the toxin is just a hallucinogen that still makes them see shit... Whichever. But still, she's a work-in-progress. I haven't even made out her profile yet.

You're wrong about the smelling thing. I know a person who has growths in her nose that prevent her to smell. Or if someone doesn't have a nose...

And breathing in a toxin that can kill you is not genjutsu, dummy. XD

History: Born on December 20th, Kaori was born into the prestigious Jigoku Clan, she was also the youngest child of all her siblings. Her parents were of the Main Family and more importantly, her father was the leader of the clan; Namari and Kogo.

Kaori was the smallest of the siblings, and her parents believed her to held the least promise of becoming great; and because of this, her mother was extremely harsh, rude, and even abusive (since mother was the military official for the family). Once in the academy, Kaori worked extremely hard, almost to the point where she would break down crying from being so worked up about trying to be the best to live up to her family's high standards.

But when she ever went home... she had to be strong. Her siblings were stronger. And hated her. For the reason that she was the youngest of the siblings, and was actually the heir of the Jigoku Family. She didn't want to be the heir of the family. She felt insignificant, unimportant... Not worthy.

She went to the academy at the age of 7, and then graduated early due to her aggressive training from her mother (as sh was the military official of the clan), and mental punishment and training from her father. Kaori was 11 when she graduated. And then successfully passing the Chuunin exams, and becoming a Chuunin at age 13. Even though she did both of these, she still did not live up to her family's standards, and was often ridiculed and insulted by her father, who would proceed to remind her: "All of your brothers graduated earlier than that! Why couldn't you?"

But enough was enough...

After being tired of the teasings, and name-callings from her siblings such as, and the disapproval from her parents. She was absolutely sick of being the failure of the Jigoku Clan, she began to train in secret, on the farthest western side of the village. Not only going out and hunting down small bandit groups throughout Fire Country to practice her Genjutsu, but even practicing her Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. She then applied for the Jounin Exams, and passed easily--jokingly commenting that it was easier than the Chuunin exams.

She was 21 when she became Jounin.

And took her own Genin Squad.

She then wished for a printed document of her promotion, and then ran home, shoving on the table before her parents. They were absolutely surprised, though her father still said it didn't prove that she was any better than her siblings. Kaori, then pulled out a second document, shoving it into her father's arms, and stormed out. Reading the paper, it stated: "Jigoku Kaori has been assigned a three-man Genin Squad". Below that were the names of them.

He then regretted all the times calling her insignificant, and constantly disapproving of all her actions and abilites. Apparently, Kaori was capable of being as talented as her brothers, maybe even moreso due the fact that not even her brothers were given Genin squad...

For the past 5 years, Kaori has been training Genin, and now, she took on the four-man Genin squad of Kurai Nara after his untimely death. It consists of: Hitmoi Yorokobi, Minako Uchiha, Ryoku Akimichi, and Moumoko Hyuuga.

Appearance: ~*~
At only 5'3", Kaori is a rather short girl, with a very slender build. She has pale, milky white skin that seems to glow in dim light almost. Her eyes are a pale, bright midnight purple. They seem almost droopy in a matter of speaking, and her eyebrows always curved, giving her a serious look, almost a scowl.

Her hair is dark, dark brown, almost looking black in the dark. It reaches to just below her butt, and it tied into a downward ponytail nearly all the time. She doesn't wear her headband, but instead wearing her old, ANBU assassin mask which rests typically at the side of her head; her bangs hang over the strap on it.

Her typical attire is rather complex. She wears a black undershirt, that cuts off at a little below her breasts; sleeves barely covering only her shoulders. She wears an armored chestguard that is sleeveless and stops just above her undershirt. She also wears a pair of black, gloves that go up over her elbows. She wears a pair of skintight, black shorts with silver armor decor covering it; two straps come from either side of her hips. A sword/sheath is connected to a loop on the back of her shorts On her left leg is a cloth that goes all the way up, a little past her knee, and she just wears a pair of high-heel, open toe shoes.
Piercings: N/A

Personality: Normally a very calm, and quiet girl, she would typically be the last person to answer a question. In groups, she will only speak when spoken to, and would normally hold her tongue when wanting to add a comment. She hates being the centre of attention, and doesn't like being the one to start subjects or conversations and normally just walk away at this point.

But, if the leader of a specific group, she can take control rather easily, and can be very rough, and harsh with rules, an regulations, but if she sees those that have emotional problems, she can be very comforting and caring, and listen to their every word. As a very understanding person, and being female in general, she can be very sweet, and nurturing.

When placed in embarrassing or personal situations, she can close up and become very reserved, quiet and overall, very shy. But when hyper, or moreover a pretty good mood, she can be very loud, obnoxious, fast-talking, mischievous, and even fun-loving. When angered, she would normally hold it in, and smile and walk away, or, if she really doesn't like the person, she will even reply with something witty, and overly insulting even if it were such a small thing.

She's one of the few people in the entire village to be a vegetarian; she can't help but sleep with her thumb in her mouth; she hates the dark, but her bedroom is painted dark gray; she hates children, yet would want children of her own someday; and finally, she's the only person in the entire village to have mastered such a form of Genjutsu, her own mother (whom is the head of the Jigoku Clan) said Kaori has become more powerful than even the ancestor.

Overall, Kaori is just a very complicated person that has so many personal flaws, she makes up for them in complete opposite or over-the-top idiosyncrasies.

Kekkei Genkai: A unique genetic mutation that she was born with which is called: "Meteor Release". It is a combination of both Fire and Earth natures. No one in her family ever was born with this, and they say that it is rare if any of her own descendants are born with it.

Hiden Jutsu: As a member of the Jigoku Clan, she is well adept in the use of Genjutsu, and the manipulation of scents and fragrances in the air. And, by mixing certain parts of her chakra with natural chemicals of her body or nature, she can create powerful hallucinogenic scents that can do a variety of things. Such as drive her opponents insane, see things, and even be forced to do things, such as mistake allies for enemies, and vice versa. But due to the common belief of the irrelevance of Genjutsu, her clan is not as well known as it might be, but that doesn't stop her from being as powerful as she is.

Jutsu Varieties: Though she isn't very talented with Ninjutsu or Taijutsu, her Genjutsu is absolutely extraordinary. She was even commented on by Lord Hokage himself, calling her "one of the most talented Genjutsu-users I've ever seen!" By infusing these scents with her chakra, she can make even more deadly combinations, and cause more horrific hallucinations.

Also, if one were to think they "outsmarted" her by breathing in through their mouth, she will instead release toxins into the air and by infusing it with her chakra, she can either cause worse hallucinations, or kill them with said poisons. She is also well adept in medical ninjutsu, though not so much in the range of injuries, but moreover mental issues, or pathological issues. Hallucinogenic toxins, and chemicals are her specialty, along with being very knowledgable of most organic toxins.

Though she specializes in this form of fighting, she doesn't specialize in the typical Genjutsu you'd normally hear of just illusions tricking the mind into thinking certain objects or people aren't what they appear to be. But her style is much more intricate and probably much more useful. She creates illusions with smells. By mixing certain scents, and forcing others to inhale them, she can then control what that person sees, or feels with the different smells; such as altering one's perception of touch, or even their sense of hearing and sight to make a rather deadly combination.


Meteor Release: Cataclysmic Inferno
Her most powerful technique that was even classified as a Kinjutsu due to the fact that it can fatally exhaust her, by draining nearly every ounce of Chakra, and then some.
By performing all hand signs, clapping them together and then slamming her hands to the ground, palms downward, cracks form in the ground around the area of her hands and these said cracks begin to glow brightly, and then, out from under their feet, a twenty-foot wide chunk of earth arises from beneath them and floats about 50 feet into the air, leaving a gargantuan hole. After a while, fire then erupts from the hole, incinerating the boulder, and whoever else that was unlucky enough to be trapped on the rock. Swirls of fire also dance about it.

Meteor Release: End of Life
After doing the hand signs, she slams her palms onto the ground, and then millions of small to medium sized rocks float hundreds of feet into the air, and then rain down from the sky like flaming rain. The fire is hot enough to spontaneously combust any flammable object, and the rocks fall down fast enough to penetrate even the toughest of defenses. And finally, a mile wide boulder begins to fall as well, and impacts with a massive explosion. Anything within a 20 mile radius are instantly destroyed by either sonic booms or pyroclastic clouds.

Ninja Art: Perfume for the Living Dead
This fragrance smells disgustingly of sakura petals and rotting flesh. Her most powerful Genjutsu, this one is also--in her opinion--the most humorous to use. By altering one's perceptions of sight, hearing and touch, she can cause a person to believe that they are being mauled by a horde of the living dead. And, as it turns out, it can kill too, as, since the illusion makes them believe their being torn limb from limb, they will eventually die from the thought of it. In scientific terms, she causes them to die from a massive heart attack.

Ninja Art: Blizzard of Doves
The longest technique to perform, and possibly the longest one to kill. After doing the hand signs, she releases a scent that smells oddly like a cold winter morning, afterwards, they feel as if they are becoming extremely cold, and then after THAT, before their very eyes a swarm of dive-bombing doves attacks them, causing them to run about, screaming in terror. The doves never cease, and afterwards, they die from hypothermia.

Ninja Art: Your own Worst Allergy
Her most humorous technique in her arsenal. By releasing a smell into the air--a smell that changes for each individual peron--it causes the persons to begin an annoyingly endless sneezing fit--this due to the fact that it's a chemical that changes to become a specific person's worse allergy--which after they sneeze for 50 or more times, they beging to sneeze harder and harder, until they begin these excrutiatingly painful sneezes that causes the sneeze out blood, until, boom. Out comes a lung.

Fire Release: Illusionistic Inferno
By releasing a scent that smells of burning wood, she is in fact releasing a sight and hearing influencing chemical that causes all who inhale it believe they are seeing Kaori herself performing handsigns and then proceeding to create a fiery in which they cannot escape (she in fact is just standing in front of them). They soon die because their mind believes them to be burning alive, so it shuts off, and they become lifeless.

Summoning Jutsu: Wild Stampede
After doing hand signs, she bites her thumb, using a blood sacrifice, and slams her fingertips onto the ground, and, with a puff of an enormous cloud of smoke, a giant, stampede of hundreds of animals comes crashing out of it. It's brief yet destructive, and is best used when in an enclosed space where it would b difficult to evade it.

Water Release: The Jellyfish's Sting
After doing hand signs, her hands then become water, and then her fingers become stringlike, and then latch onto the nearest enemy, as soon as the tentacles touch them, darts in them inject a powerful poison that can kill in twenty minutes.

Ninja Art: Infinite Voodoo
Requires no hand signs, but a lot of chakra. She begins to wave her hands, emitting a waves of chakra, and then begins to mold it into the shape of a doll, and then looks exactly like whatever person of her choosing. After which, any damage she inflicts upon the doll, it happens to the person that the doll represents.

Name: Harumi (No clan name)
Age: 20

Why Did they become a member?: Harumi was in love with Tadashii, the host for the Two Tailed Cat. She ran away from him when he reveiled that we was homosexual and had a sexual relationship with a fellow teammate. Later on, she killed Tadashii's lover, and joined Akatsuki.

Village: Iwagakure

History: Not much is known about Harumi's history. Although she has spent a good portion of her life in Iwagakure, it is known that she isn't from their in the first place, since she does not wear a headband with its logo.

It is confirmed however that she had experienced many tramaus in her life. Her parents were killed when she was young, and her siblings a few years later. She has lived in poverty her whole life, and spent the majority of her life in nature-filled areas. This may be how she learned to use the summoning technique.

Somehow, she migrated to Iwagakure. There she met Tadashii, a traveling ninja who strived to become stronger. Since Harumi had no money or no home, she joined him on his journey. Along with another person from Iwagakure, they traveled together for many years, visiting each village and getting stronger.

Harumi never trained with Tadashii, but instead trained in secret behind her companions backs. She was very shy about her training, so much that her companions didn't know that she had any skills until their journey ended.

Harumi formed a crush on Tadashii fairly quickly. He was a little hard to live with, but he was sloppy and determined. Harumi admired his strength and motivation, and also admired that he could get along with almost anybody. But her crush soon developed into a deep love, which would eventually lead to her downfall.

As their journey reached to an end, Harumi confessed her love for Tadashii, only to discover a heart-breaking answer. Tadashii was a homosexual, and his gay lover was none other than the other companion that they were traveling with. Feeling heartbroken and betrayed, she ran away.

Much happened after she ran away. Harumi trained and got unbelieveably strong. She joined Akatsuki and created the 8 Psuedo-Bijuu from the excess chakera in the Demon Statue.

But her dissapearance did not go well with her friends. The gay lover of Tadashii went on a quest to find her, only to face his demise by her hand. Despite his pleadng, Harumi refused to come back, and slayed him in her rage.

Currently, Harumi is a member of Akatsuki, and is now hunting Tadashii not only for his Bijuu, but for revenge.

Appearance: Even though Harumi is 20 years of age, she looks almost exactly like she did when she ran away from Tadashii, but has gained some noticeable changes to her body.

Beofre she became an Akatsuki, she appeared as a shy, timid, but very cute girl. She had a cute face, with big ruby eyes that always seem to glisen with tears. She had a cute, small mouth that is rarely seen in a frown, but did not smile that much either. Her features are soft and has very nice, white skin. She had wavy red hair that reached down to her shoulders. She wore her headband on her forehead, where the metal piece was noticeably brighter than the regular headband.

Now an Akatsuki, Harumi didn't seem to age or mature at all. But she has significant differences that express her change of heart. In a nutshell, she has a deathly look to her, like she is sick. Her skin is noticeably pale, and her beautiful ruby eyes have darkened, and wears a heavy black eyeliner around them. Her hair has grown, and is dyed pitch black. It does not retain her waves anymore, but is instead straight. Her hair always seems wet, reflecting her sickly look. Her facial expressions still express that she is a shy girl, but in a more creepy way...

She stands around 5'6, and has an average body shape for a 16 year old. Her curves and breasts are well developed, and has slim but great legs (Not much is to say about her body)

Like all Akatsuki, Harumi wears a black cloak with red clouds pattered on it. However, the coat seems to be one or two sized larger than her, which makes her appear rather cute. Under her cloak she wears an AMBU breastplate and backplate, which is colored black. Under the armor she wears a fishnet. Her midriff is slightly exposed, since the armor nor the fishnet reaches that low. She wears dark grey ninja gloves that reach just below her elbows. She wears tight black shorts (About as long as Sakura's from part 1), and ninja boots that rach just below her calf.

Piercings: None

Personality: Harumi appears as a shy, quiet person who always seems to be seperated from society. Her wide. dark red eyes make her look kinda creepy, making people want to stay away from her. Her dark and sickly look makes her look very lonely, and she is: ever since she left the village, she has made no friends or any companions she could turn to. The only communication she has is with her Akatsuki teammates, and she doesn't even speak to them that much.

At times, she can appear cruel and emotionless by the way she fights, but in truth she is the most caring and merciful of all the members of Akatsuki. She is actually depressed and still heartbroken from four years before, and with personality issues she has become menatally unstable. At times when she "snaps", she can cntract an insane state.

Hiden Jutsu: None

Jutsu Varieties: Harumi doesn't have a specific element type to her jutsu. She barely knows any jutsu that are unrelated to summoning something to fight for her, only knowing the basic jutsu required to graduate the Ninja Academy.

However, Harumi is a master at using summoning techniques in battle. She has a plethra of animals and monsters at her disposal, and does not hesitate to use them to her advantage. Since she has trained for years in the art of summoning, she can summon multiple monsters at once using only a minimal amount of blood and chakera.

While she has a small army of monsters at her disposal, she perfers to use smaller summoining for one on one combat. When she joined Akatsuki, she gathered all of the excess Bijuu chakera from the old Demon Sealing statue. Because Madara used much of their chakera to create the Akatsuki army, there was a lot of acess chakera available. Harumi was able to seal this chakera into lifeless, human-like bodies to make psuedo-Bijuu.

These psuedo-Bijuu have two base forms: their Jinjuriki forms and their Bijuu forms. Their Jinjuriki forms, also known as their sealed forms, take the general appearace of humans. Their entire bodies are made of chakera, and they take different shapes depending on the Bijuu (However they still take the general appearance of humans. For example, the Eight-tails has horns on his head, and the Three tails is larger than the rest and has a shell). Their faces don't have any features, save for their wide white eyes and mouth with the design of pointy teeth (Their faces greatly resemble NArut's when he is in 4-6 tailed state). They all wear Akatsuki cloaks as well.

In their Jinjuriki form, the psuedo-Bijuu are mindless monsters. They obey Harumi without any question. Their fighting abilities are high above the average ninja. Their abilities in combat are near equal that to a real Jinjuriki's having amazing strength and a seemingly limitless amount of chakera. Along with their exlusive abilities, the psuedo-Bijuu have the ability to morph and use their chakera bodies however they wish.

In their Bijuu form, they grow to massive sizes along with their power levels. They lose thier human-like shape and take the appearance of their real Bijuu conterparts. Their bodies still take the appearance of physical chakera, and any details on the original Bijuu besides shape is eliminated. They grow tails that match the number of the originals, but appear to be thin and long instead of specially shaped (For example, instead of the 8-tails having squid-like tails, it has regular ones).

Their power also grows. While not as powerful as the originals, they are still impressive, and can deal with regular large summonings with ease. Each of them have specific powers that match their conterparts, and still retain the power to morph their chakera into whatever form they wish. They posess powerful chakera blasts, and an immunity to most chakera based attacks. Their chakera bodies are harmful to anyone except Harumi and other psuedo-Bijuu.

She also posseses multiple jutsu that include summoning-like themes, but are not actually summonings. She uses these jutsu at the beginning of battles.

I doubt that she would even want one since she has a personal grudge against Tadashii. I think Kisame ran solo after Itachi died...

I'm not planning to make anotherAkatsuki character, but if I must than I must...
