Sapphire was my 'official' serious Pokemon game I ever played. I played Gold before but I can't remember squat about it besides always picking Totodile and the Miltank farm. :| But, seriously, do it so that I can experience a nostalgia nosebleed. -------------------- |

1. First of all, do you think (not want) that there will be an RS remake?
I don't know. 2. If they were to do an RS remake, would you buy one? Absolutely! - Third generation is my favorite so far. Everything will probably look and sound a lot different, though. 3. I can accept this, but I wish for them to wait a few years after Black and White.

Black/White version: 2011
Obligatory Third version: 2013 Ruby/Sapphire version: 2014 That's when I believe they'll come out. I'm only basing this on what happened in the fourth gen, so don't take it seriously  .I may or may not buy it. I skipped the third gen, so this would be a totally new game for me. I would love Ruby/Sapphire remakes. I loved the starters for the 3rd gen (I always picked Torchic xD ), but the graphics I think are the worst in any Pokemon game (the style, that is). I don't like how they elongated the sprites for all the people in the game. I'd be very excited to see how much more awesome Hoenn would look in a remake.

I don't really think Nintendo NEEDS to make them. Pokemon already gets them TONS of money. R/S was kind of recent already, anyways. It came out in the 21st Century whereas Red/Green was in the 90's. It was probably re-made because they were the first ever Pokemon video games.
Then again, they re-made Gold and Silver.... Who knows. they might get bored or if we keep pressing them, they might actually do it. I would most definitely buy the game. They will most likely make a remake. But it will most likely be for the 3DS not the DS.

I don't really think so because the 3DS is right around the corner, I would think the Pokemon company would do something else to make use of the whole 3D concept rather than to remake a Gameboy Advance game. But there is also some evidence to back the re-make up. I am curious to see how they turn Ruby/Sapphire into something like Black and White.

Well,I Don't think nintendo will. I mean, with the release of the new Graphics in Black and whtie,they would have to make THe Remakes in the new Graphics, and then fans would want the new Graphics on all the other remakes, and it would be chaos. Unless they go back to the original graphics after Black/White, I doubt there will be a Ruby/Saphhire remake. But Black and White will probably have some features simaliar to hoenn?

I do want one indeed, but FR/LG was made about 5 years after yellow, while we had to wait 10 years after G/S/C for HG/SS.....

They will eventually. Whether it happens next year, next decade, next century, I don't know. I might buy but 3rd gen is my least favorite generation. I really didn't like it.

Hoenn starters were my favorite! Actually, I want a game where you can travel between all 5 regions, counting black and white.

ruby and sapphire were my favorite games and i play them a lot. they have most of my favorite pokemon in them and i think a remake would be a good idea. however, the graphics are still really good for an old(ish) game.
