Okay I bet you're wondering what a Nuzlocke run is. Anyway a Nuzlocke run is supposedly the HARDEST Pokemon challenge. Here are the rules.
You can only catch ONE Pokemon in each route or town. It has to be the FIRST Pokemon you see as well. You MUST nickname all Pokemon. That way it is heartbreaking when they die. If a Pokemon faints it is considered dead. YOU MUST RELEASE IT. No Pokemart buys. You can only use items in the field that you find or are given. Lastly HAVE FUN!!! Anyway I started my own. Here's the beggining. It is an SS run. Chapter 1: Pedophile! I wake up eager to start my journey. I ponder what I could pick as I change my clothes. "Chikorita." I say. "Ah Gold! I was expecting you!" What?!! IT"S A PEDO!!! Oh wait that's just Elm. Wut up hobo? Anyway I pick my starter Chikorita. She is now called Flora. And then a familiar tune plays as I leave. "I wanna be the very best. Like noone ever was." Dun Dun Dun Dun! "To catch them is my real test! To train them is my cause!" Anyway after that I exit the lab again eager to dominate the world. -------------------- I just saw Halley's comet, too late. I said "Why are you always running in place?" Every night of my life, I watched angels fall from the sky. Every time that the sun still sets, I pray they don't take mine. "Even the man in the moon disappeared, somewhere in the stratosphere." |

I've always been a fan of these. Never done one myself, but it's always fun to hear the stories of people who have. Since I just found my old Advance today - in an old suitcase, who would have guessed - I've been considering going to Gamestop to buy FR/LG, or maybe R/S. (Still have my Emerald.) Maybe I'll try one
  That HM rule looks really tough. Don't know if I could do that.. --------------------  |

I prefer this chart:
Nuzlocke rules (click to show) More rules with varying difficulty. I have ran through Diamond Nuzlocke before successfully, but I didn't document it. My team when I beat Cynthia: Bundy (Luxray) lv. 67 Mr. Slips (Gyarados) lv. 67 Batman (Crobat) lv. 67 Bailey (Gengar) lv. 67 Fintin (Bronzong) lv. 67 Gummy Bear (Bibarel) lv. 40 Fintin was the only survivor, but Bundy survived the longest. I'm now doing a Nuzlocke run on Crystal with the following rules: 1. First pokémon on route that I haven't caught (Unless shiny) 2. Fainted pokémon are dead 3. No legendaries 4. No items outside of battles 5. Pokémon obtained by other means than catching are ILLEGAL. 6. Only pokéballs or competition balls; no Great/Ultra/Whatever balls 7. If a pokémon is reduced to 1 HP by poison on the field, it is dead. 8. One pokéball per town -------------------- |

Yeah, I ran a Google search and read both seasons xD They're awesome. The plot's great, the dialogue's witty, the characters are well-developed, and there are plenty of flashbacks to add depth. Some of the fancomics are okay, but none of them really compare to Ruby's. I love when he caught an Oddish.. Wait, maybe it was a Gloom. Anyway. It had four non-damaging moves - the status powders and Sweet Scent- so it was a hippie. "Make love, not war." I restarted my Emerald for a Nuzlocke run... it started out great but it's been tragic lately. I don't have any of the original 6 left... Combusken died yesterday.

I've done 2 runs on Plat (I failed the first time and won the second)
I am going to do a run of emerald soon I have a few questons 1. which starter should I choose 2. has anyone encontered a shiny during their nuzlocke run as the first one in the route 3. what Gamestop are you going to because firered sells at 25$ at evryone i've been to peace out  --------------------        |

I've decided I'm not going to try facing them until we're all at level 50 or over, but training is so annoying... 1. I love Swampert, and he isn't weak to either of the villainous teams, so I would normally suggest him for any Emerald team. But not for a Nuzlocke run. He's too fragile. One surprise Grass-type move and he's a goner. Fire-types are relatively easy to come by in Hoenn... so I'd actually suggest Treecko, though I'm not a huge fan of it myself. 2. Well, I haven't, and I haven't seen anything like that on the website, but it's probably happened before. 3. Lucky. I got my LeafGreen for $30... -------------------- |

Torchic. He's epic... weak in the begining but the strongest once he's Combusken. 2. Nope. Third one. Caught it anyway. XD 3. Georgia Gamestop. Bargain bin FTW! Hey Cyrus. I would reccomend Level 65 each.

I was on the SSAnne in Blue version.
I had brought with me a Zubat, FUCKER. He was a zubat...weak...but I used him anyways as per the rules. I had never used one before anyways. I was fighting Blue. Zubat, was doing quite well. He gained a level...before Blue wiped him out with Charmeleon... I was at a loss. I had lost my Zu... Zubat evolved. His HP was no longer at 0. He...He was alive again! ... I love you FUCKER.
