We have notification icons when we have Eggs that are ready to hatch, when our Daycare Pokemon have produced Eggs, etc. Would it be possible to have an alert similar to these that signals that one or more of your Pokemon is/are ready to evolve?

Thanks for your time. happy.gif

A lot of people have pokemon in their parties that they do not want to evolve. Another notification that doesn't go away would just be annoying. :\

Perhaps you could enable/disable it? I thought that it would be pretty useful for people that are trying to complete their collection.

^This

Plus the notification's already there, but in the form of the text for the Pokemon's options drop-down menu being bolded when they're ready to evolve or form change. That would be enough of a hint for most people. :\

^ That. The header up there is already crowded enough without another notification.

You have bolded text when an Egg is ready to hatch, too. Not everybody is a veteran GPX+ user that doesn't need to evolve Pokemon; there are many like me who are still working on their Dex. I log on and log off if I have no notifications, and when I do that I sometimes have Pokemon that are ready to evolve but I don't notice.

Then consider logging off after checking your Poketch.

It's not about being a veteran, whether you evolve your pokes or not.
You can like the pre-evo, or you can be working on achievements that require an non-evolved poke...

There are tons of reasons not to evolve a given poke, even if you're curently filling your dex.
Most users have at some point a poke they don't want to evolve, new or veterans...

Besides, one of the reasons the hatched egg notification is there is because no one can click your eggs when it is ready to hatch until you yourself hatch it. However, with hatched pokes, people can still click on your pokemon no matter what level so there's no real rush. cat.gif

Okay, I get it; nobody likes the idea besides me so it's a bad one. Just have the Moderator lock the topic; no need to repeat why it's a bad idea over and over.

i like the idea. i thought about this too and it would be better, because not everyone is always on their party they are mostly clicking other people. i would like it i knew when my togepi can evolve from happiness without interupting my clicking or if poliwag can evolve into poliwhirl
