Name: Alexander Wells
Hometown: Battle Frontier (Hoenn)
Appearance: Alexander is a fair skinned boy around 5.7, and has and has a fairly light build. Alex has dark brown hair and brown eyes, and wears prescription glasses. The hair is extremely curly and hard to comb, and often times ends up as a jumbled mess. He often wears a blue golf shirt and patterned shorts, and carries around a standard trainer's backpack. He also often wears his lucky Battle Frontier hat his mother gave him when he first started out, with the Battle Frontier logo on the front of the cap. His shoes used to have a black and white design, but travelling has made them dusty brown.
Personality: Alexander is a fairly calm kid, who can sometimes become frustrated with things when they don't go his way. Thanks to training from Noland however, Alex has learned to adapt to any situation. Lazy and easily distracted at times, Alexander will often slack off and as a result forget to complete a task such as delivering a parcel to someone or write to someone. Alexander is a traveler, and likes to wander from place to place, taking in the sights and sounds. Fairly smart, Alex often gives others the feeling of being a know-it-all, when in reality he just wants someone to share everything he knows with.
Biography: Alexander Wells was born on the Battle Frontier Island of Hoenn to two Frontier employees. Raised as a child on the island, his parents showed him around the different facilities. Alexander became good friends with many of the Frontier Brains and trainers there, and came to admire each for his or her different battle styles. Alexander's particular favorite was the Brain of the Battle Factory, Noland. Alex admired him particularly because of his ability to adapt. Soon Noland took Alex under his wing as an apprentice, and learned the art of battling and adapting to different strategies.
After practicing with the facilities rental pokemon for a few years, mastering strategy with each type of pokemon, Noland gave Alexander his first pokemon, a Treecko that had recently hatched. The two soon became the best of friends, and were inseparable. Together the pair explored the island, with their favorite place being Artisan cave. The Smeargle there had always been friends with Alex, and he often had painted pictures on the cave walls with them.
Alexander Wells soon wanted to challenge the Frontier Brains of Hoenn, and beat each and every one. However, he knew that in order to challenge a Brain one first had to acquire all the badges from a region and compete in the Pokemon League. Alexander decided that he would start with the Furoh League, since it only had four badges to obtain instead of the standard eight in other regions. Alexander soon consulted his parents, and after much discussion it was decided he could leave to Furoh to begin his trainer journey.
As a parting gift Alexander recieved his signature Frontier souvenir hat from his mom so he would always remember the island. Noland also attending his going-away celebration, gave him a Mudkip and Makuhita to raise along the way and to protect him in case he met with any trouble. Alex, taking these gifts and looking at the island one last time, boarded on a boat and left to Furoh, his journey about to unfold.

Other Notes: The whole "Battle Frontier" thing here is assuming that we are going by the game canon. If we are doing this more along the lines of show canon, then I will gladly edit this profile.
