I thought I'd make a thread for discussing your progress in the JJune Contest shiny hunt for the Grey Swinub. And a nice little poll too see a proportion of entrants.
So, a few things to think about and discuss: 1. Are you entering the contest? If not, why not? 2. Have you got a Swinub breeding pair? 3. How many eggs have you hatched so far? 4. Have you got your shiny yet? If so, how many eggs did you hatch and was it an egg from the lab, daycare, or shelter? Obviously, you can only answer questions 3 and 4 from Saturday onwards. A little bit of newfound information: Any pair in the daycare with at least one Swinub (or evolution) will produce 10 eggs every hour. Even if it is a level 100 Mamoswine and level 1 Ditto. And.... 1. Yes. I've been shiny hunting for a long time, though not very successfully. I don't mind Swinubs, and a site-wide shiny hunt sounds exciting, so, why not.

Nope. Already hatched a Shiny Swinub last year. And no, I didn't have a Swinub breeding pair. It's just from a shelter egg.

I entered it, it sound like a lot of fun. I had to cancel my shiny mareep hunt, but I wasn't too concerned with that, considering I have like 8 other shiny hunts I can use. I'm excited about the new novelty voucher. I hope that I get a shiny!
