The Aquadome

You arrive at a small island adjacent to the Seafoam Islands. There is nothing on the island except a glass dome the size of a typical house. At the entrance of the dome, you see a sign reading, "No Lifeguard on Duty.” Inside the dome, a young man in a blue full-body wetsuit greets you. In his arms is a Phione, the heir to the Temple of the Sea. “Have you come to take on the Aquadome Challenge?” he asks. You nod. “See you at the finish line,” he says, tossing a device towards you. “It’s called a Micro Aqualung.” Before you have time to react, the room starts to fill with water. You call out a water-type Pokémon and shove the device into you mouth. The young man fiddles with his watch and fins come out of his wetsuit. You are almost completely submerged when the floor beneath you disappears. Underneath the floor was the salty ocean. The young man is gone and you command your Pokémon to dive after him.

You marvel at the magnificent Corsola formations you pass by. In every nook and cranny, small aquatic Pokémon like Horsea are hiding. Fear paralyzes you as a lone Sharpedo glides right over your head. Your surroundings gradually grow darker and you wonder, "How deep is this?" It gets to the point where you can no longer see your own hands clinging onto your Pokémon, but you continue. Straining your vision, you see a light in the distance, but it moves farther away every time you come closer. Suddenly, Bright lights turn on and the water around you drains. "Welcome to the Aquadome! My underwater Pokémon gym!" When your eyes adjust to the brightness, you find yourself in a large arena with a pool in the middle. The young man flips his wet blue hair and says. "It’s about time. I was starting to think you drowned. Now I, Vitalis Lagos, accept your challenge!"

So due to the fact that Dive is no longer a HM and Pokemon with the move dive cannot be migrated this means that your challenger has to use one of these Pokemon:
Seel
Dewgong
Wailmer
Wailord
Huntail
Gorebyss
Relicanth
Phione
Manaphy

None of your Pokemon learn the move either so maybe you should change it to requiring one Water type Pokemon on your team.

i will not change that rule. i have not finished organizing my team and i am still making changes to it. and in case u didnt notice, i clearly stated:

if you feel the need to have something changed in my gym, send a pm.

EDIT: never mind. i decided it would be better to take empoleon's suggestion. so the rule has changed.

ok shoutai if i catch u online, we'll battle. what do u mean by "2 sided match?" do u mean a double battle? if so, then i disagree. this will be a 6 vs. 6 single battle. and be sure to have one water pokemon, otherwise, there will be no battle.

EDIT: etnie explained that u meant a gym vs gym battle. if thats the case, then i suppose i can provide some leeway and override the "one water-type" rule.

Since I have a water type in my lineup we won't be overriding the "One water type" rule. Just make sure you follow my rules as I will follow yours.

ok. i'll battle u right now.

EDIT: flameknight has successfully challenged my gym. at first, flameknight, having defeated 4 of pokemon without losing any of his pokemon, seemed to be winning but my kingdra quickly turned the tables by eliminating 5 of flameknight's pokemon. kingdra was defeated and it was down to my pikachu and his infernape. his infernape used a focus blast, defeating pikachu in one hit.

EDIT: 000 just beat me in his second attempt. his umbreon poisoned my entire team (except gyarados and empoleon). the umbreon was never defeated because it consistently used moonlight to restore its health. 000's salamence defeated my very last pokemon (vaporeon) with a lucky critical hit from dragon rush.

@etnie- u choose whatever u want. either way, i still have to use my gym team so its up to u.

EDIT: travis finally beat me on his 4th or 5th attempt (i lost count). he had beaten me previously but "yawn" was used and that is against my rules. he tried again but forgot to bring a water type (doh!). in his final attempt, he beat my empoleon with his torterra. empoleon was quick and managed to use "hydro cannon" but that only left torterra in the red part of its health bar. on the next turn, when empoleon was recharging, torterra finished empoleon, ending the battle.

EDIT: etnie beat me on his first try. at first, it seemed i was in the lead but etnie's salamence wiped out my team. luckily, my vaporeon hung on using its focus sash and used ice beam but salamence survived. my last pokemon, pikachu managed to knock out salamence leaving two pokemon left on etnie's side. pikachu lost against suicune and the battle was over.

p.s. these battle stories may not be very accurate since i have a bad memory...

because according to the tier list on this website, speed forme deoxys is not an uber.

i give up. no matter how many times i say "dont post unless challenging" nobody listens to it. so u can post here as long as its relevant to the gym.
