Appearance:
Liliara, like almost all Godwings, has a set of pure white wings. Hers are fairly large, reflecting her element, air. She has straight, flowing waist-length silvery light blue hair. She is very tall and slender. Her eyes are clear dark blue, like the sapphires adorning her attire. Her eyes are very powerful, she can see much farther and sharper than a usual Godwing. She is normally seen with a calm, placid expression, but when angered she can be very intimidating.

She usually wears a long light white tunic which reaches to about a foot above her ankle. When she is not barefoot, leather strapped sandals are on her feet. Gold and sapphire designs ornament her tunic and arms. She is often also seen wearing a thin silver (or sometimes gold) circlet on her head (not pictured.) When concerned, Liliara sometimes touches the teardrop sapphire at her neck. The necklace’s power, if any, is unknown, however. It is suspected that it most likely magnifies her abilities.

Liliara wears a dark blue belt set with golden designs and eagle. On this belt her sword can be found, protected by a intricately decorated girdle. There are special markings on the sword and girdle, but only Liliara is aware of their true meaning at this point. By anyone’s guess, they are related to her wind powers as well. Liliara often uses the sword for diving in from the air and striking the opponent, as she is far stronger than she looks. While she also has a silver bow and can use it very well, it is rarely seen.

Personality:
Liliara is more laid-back and shy. She tends to speak very little, and when she does, it is usually a soft, quiet voice (unless she is very, very mad.) Silent and reserved, she is very good at keeping secrets. While she prefers not to fight, when enraged, she deals devastating damage. Liliara is not easily annoyed, and often is able to quell smaller disagreements. She typically prefers to be alone, and is known for giving others the slip.

Equipped with a strong sense of justice, Liliara treats everyone as equals. She can’t stand bullying, and will not turn her back on someone in trouble. She is extremely loyal to those she cares about. While she may occasionally flee a battle scene, she is certainly not cowardly, nor would ever abandon someone in need of her help. How she acts in a battle depends on many factors. If other Godwings and/or humans are in the fight, she will do her best to protect them, and will not give up easily. But when alone, except in the case of a duel, she is more likely to avoid fighting and flee.

Most people try not to anger her – doing such is a terrible mistake. While she has never killed anyone ever, and would only resort to such a measure in a time of extreme need, Liliara stands up for what she believes in. Dare to enrage her, and you’re asking for major pain.

Due to her wind power, Liliara is incredibly fast, which allows her to dodge attacks more easily. Her fighting style is normally to dodge if possible, then launch attacks, either directly using her control of winds or going in for aerial attacks using her sword. She tends to prefer thinking out a strategy before going into anything, but she is still fairly good at using her head.

Liliara does not fear physical pain, but emotional pain has a heavy impact on her. Needless bloodshed bothers her very much. She does not fight for the sake of fighting, but always has a reason when she does. Liliara has a tendency to stand up for others, and as such that is one of her most common reasons for entering a fight. It matters far more to her when someone else is hurt than when she herself is. Very caring, Liliara almost always puts others above herself. She will always do her best to protect others, even if it means taking the hammer herself.

She absolutely loves to fly – it is her favorite pastime and source of escape. Liliara is very good at making herself unable to be found, if she doesn’t want to be found, she probably won’t be. Most at home high in the air, she doesn’t really like to walk on the earth like a human. Her usual attire is also somewhat ill-equipped for a normal human, so it is rare to see her attempting to disguise herself as one.

Some people consider Liliara a bit secretive – she does not often say much about herself or her past. She keeps to herself, but does not to seem lonely much. Usually only close friends are able to bring her out of her shell. Although light-hearted, she is more serious, not much of a laughing jokester. People are often attracted to her calmness in the face of danger.

Liliara is typically an honest person, but she is able to lie if necessary. More likely, she will simply not answer if she feels uncomfortable.

Past:
General: Liliara has lived several places in her life, never staying in one place for a very long time. She went to a public school, and was a very good student. However, she was not exceptionally social and had few friends, being shy and preferring to work alone. But always a soft-spoken peacemaker, she made few enemies. A good artist, Liliara enjoyed drawing birds and skies. Even while human, she pursued a strong attraction to the air, and could often be found up high on a roof or in a tree.

Family: Liliara was the oldest in a family of four children. Her father had gone off to fight in the war, and was eventually killed during his service time, when Liliara was 15. However, his specific means of death are still unknown. The very same day her father was killed, while Liliara was away at camp, her mother and three younger siblings were tortured and killed by a Hellsing. When she came back to find her entire family dead, she was utterly devastated. However, her nature does not allow her to feel hate, so she does not seek revenge as a normal person might.

After her family’s death: With nowhere to go, she sought out her friends. Her best friend, Sayona, took her in, and she lived with her for a while. Later on, a battle erupted near their home, and they were forced to flee to a government camp. Unhappy there, feeling cooped-up, she finally ran away, alone, and began to support herself out in the world. Having always dreamed of flying, she worked on a pilot’s license and taught hangliding lessons on the side. Eventually one day she was killed, supposedly in a car accident, according to rumors. However, the story of her death is still shrouded in some mystery, as she has never told anyone the story. Some speculate that she may have even attempted to break into a Hellsing stronghold, but she denies the idea.

Abilities: Following the death of her parents, Liliara resolved to better her skills in preparation if she were to someday join the fight (as she eventually did). For two years, she secretly taught herself how to use a variety of weapons, from bows and arrows to swords to plasma guns (which she snagged from the government camp.)

Gender: Female

Appearance:
Lumina is an angel like all the other Godwings. Her wings are a brilliant silver and at times can reflect light, refract it, or even become translucent or completely invisible. Of course, Lumina can do this with her own body as well, which can be very useful. Her emotions may also have an impact on this, but she has gained almost perfect control over it. Her hair is a pure gold, but when hit directly in the moonlight, it could be seen as silver. (As in the picture) Her eyes are a beautiful honeysuckle yellow.

Lumina dresses in a white dress. It comes all the way down to her ankles and is made out of an incredible material. This material will change its appearance as Lumina does, so if she turns invisible, the dress will also. She wears small slipper on her feet which are extremely durable. The belt that she carries her sword sheath is made of gold and has her symbol, the star (like on her necklace) embedded on it. She also wears a necklace wrought of gold with a brilliant multi-pointed diamond star as the jewel piece. Those two things, along with her sword, are the two most precious things to her.

The main weapon that Lumina uses is the sword. This sword, however, is very unusual; its blade is made of solidified light. The hilt of course is made of her trademark metal, gold. The sword always glows, so even in the darkest of nights you can see it. Her sheath is made of a strange substance that will absorb the light while not in use.

Personality: Lumina is quite at some points, but rather cheerful. She does not believe that one being could be truly evil and can always see the good in someone. Her deepest fear is the dark. That is where she died and it is everything opposite of what she stands for.

A bright aura usually surrounds Lumina when she is in a good mood. This would not technically be an "aura" because everyone can see it. Her ability to change her visibility plays a big part in her emotions. When she is angry, she will become bolder and light will shine from her, though this light is not welcoming. When she feel embarrassed, she will turn invisible. Sometimes her body will take on the appearance of glass when she is feeling normal, but she will mainly remain visible. When Lumina feels sad, her appearance will be distorted and might be seen as a sea-glass type of look.

She is very loyal to her friends. It would not be wise to mess with them, because then you would have to deal with her. Lumina tends to make people around her happy, as she did when she was still alive. Her companions are one of the only things that she has left and she wishes that they are kept safe.

Past: Lumina might of been seen as slightly weird when she was a child. She did not approve of violent games and spent a lot of her time outside. She did have a few friends who were often bullied. (She was bullied as well for being strange but took no notice of it.) So, when they were troubled they would come to her and she would soothe them, and when it was all over, her friends felt better than before.

However, one tragic day her parents were killed in an accident involving a nuclear plant explosion. She was heartbroken and no longer her old self. Lumina decided it would be best if she ran away, so taking only a few precious belongings she did.

Her death came upon one day in the woods. She began to hear strange, distorted voices. Lumina was startled and she began to run. She ran until it was nightfall when she could no longer see. The voices seemed to have vanished. She relaxed and began to walk at a slow pace when she fell "down the rabbit hole." Now she was truly afraid, for it was pitch-black, and darkness is what she feared most. Though she did not know it at the time, she had stumbled into one of the Hellsing's layers. It was in fact the same Hellsing that had been tormenting her with the voices, and so it started again. Lumina was tortured and she could not bear it anymore. She painfully screamed, "Just kill me!" out into the void. Perhaps the Hellsing actually pitied Lumina, or was just tired of playing with her. But for whatever reason, the Hellsing did as the poor girl in the dark asked and took her life away.
