Whoa whoa, someone posted about this comic in a LiveJournal community and it suddenly attracted a lot more attention than it normally does. I wasn't going to bring this up until the end of Chapter 8, but with the sudden growth (and consequently the possibility of a wave of criticism), I will, just in case.
I've been pondering redoing the first few chapters of this comic for a while. Mainly chapters 1-3, because those are very rushed and probably the main cause of confusion for new readers. This would, however, obviously take up time that could be spent working on new panels. I'll be honest, I never really expected this comic to be something serious or of outstanding quality. It's just a silly thing for me, to be done in my spare time, with no real pretense to be anything but. I don't particularly care if people harp on how badly executed the story is and how it's all over the place, but reader support is what has kept this going until now, and I feel I at least owe this much to the readers. So I ask everyone, do you guys prefer my time working on this be reserved to working on new panels only, or would you all like a bit of a revamp? I'd be redoing some panels, adding some new ones, and generally including simpler/better explanations. I'd also polish up the art a bit. In other words, Side A's quality would improve, but in turn, the speed at which it's update would decrease considerably for a while. Any input is appreciated. -------------------- |

honestly, I can't see anything wrong with the early panels, not at all.
I'd much rather see new ones (the story is very compelling) and any confusion is eviscerated with the (hilarious) re-caps (which also should be on the site imho) this is my honest, but humble opinion. I've slept on it, and I decided that I'm going to give the earlier panels a bit of a revamp over time (like a HQ version), but only in spare time and without a schedule. I may change things here and there to help with clarity, but story progression stays the same for the sake of current readers, and there'll be no need to re-read. We recently received a few comments that comment on the story being "poorly executed", and it got me down a bit last night, but today I'm okay with it. This isn't meant to be professional or epic, it's just meant to be fun, for me and for who likes to read it. If you guys stuck around this long even with the story jumping all over the place, then it means that it can still be fun in spite of whatever flaws it has. I'll keep on doing what I've been doing.
