[Anduril]

Name: Glen Reed

Appearance: Glen has yellowish-blonde hair, usually cast about in a casual disarray. Standing, he is just over 6 feet, a height he considers average, and wishes he had a few more inches so that he could properly tower over people. As it is, he does his best to do so if he can. His eyes are grayish green, although dark circles under his eyes often hint to his troubles sleeping. Glen has a lean build not obvious to the casual observer, as his oversized, out-of-style clothes do much to hide any hints of physique. Glen bears no scars or any other particularly remarkable features. Despite Glen's somewhat shabby attire, he gives off an aura of confidence so strong that only the most foolish or imperceptive would comment on his shoddy garments.

Personality: Despite Glen's outward appearance, Glen comes off as elitist. He is cold, distant, and emotionless. He doesn't care about other people, and refuses to put on any personas as to his feelings. No one can remember him ever being frightened of anything. If he is unsettled, he takes great effort not to show it. In fact, he hardly shows emotion of any sort. If he does, it is usually irritation. He has no problem with causing other people pain, and, if given the opportunity, go out of his way to cause problems for others. He really is full of confidence, thinking himself intelligent, cunning, and perfect. In many ways, he is right. However, his confidence does not translate to self-contentment or happiness. He simply cuts himself off from all emotion, rather than facing his problems head on.
His pokemon, however, are exempt from the pain rule. He treats them fairly, but considers them tools, not friends. However, this safety net does not translate to other's pokemon. His battle strategy usually involves speed on the part of his own pokemon, as well as hurting the others as much as possible. To his amusement, Glen has found that a hurting pokemon will not only be in great pain itself, but often, the trainer themself will look like they are having their insides torn out. If his pokemon has the upper hand, he will toy with the opponent, drawing out the fight. At this point, Glen has no real ambition; losing is not a problem for him.

It is important to know, that Glen is not a lost cause though. His social growth may be stunted, but his ways, and personality, are not at all set in stone.

Biography: Glen grew up in Cerulean City in the Kanto region. Both his parents were members of Team Rocket. Well, not just members, they were administrators, having worked together to get through the ranks. They cared for their only kid, after a fashion, but mostly left his off to his own. For his eleventh birthday, he received a Cyndaquil. The pokemon didn't think much of him at first, and honestly, he didn't think much of it, either. However, constant interaction helped form a bond between the two, and there is grudging respect between the two of them. Together, they've gotten into and out of quite a few scraps, usually on the losing end, but Cyndaquil never minded, it was tough, and easily recovered from the pain. Over time, Cyndaquil has gotten just as high-strung as its master.
One day during an exploit, Glen and Cyndaquil came across a pokeball lying on a table in a department store. Glen surreptitiously snagged the ball and pocketed it. When he got home, he told his parents he'd trade them the pokeball and whatever was inside for a Great Ball. They consented, and the trade was complete. However, Glen was quite careful using his Great Ball, wanting to make sure it would be a good catch. About two weeks later, he came across a tiny Rattata. It attacked them, and Cyndaquil, the far stronger of the pair, was beating it to bits. However, the Rattata just kept getting up and kept coming. Glen admired the endurance and determination of the Rattata, and used his ball to catch it.

Life went back to normal until Glen was 16. One day, he returned home to see his house aflame. A violent battle was taking place, with men and women with badges in black surrounding the house, using fire pokemon, chiefly Arcanines, to take down the house. However, they were meeting solid resistance in the form of Glen's parents. They had no shortage of powerful pokemon, and the battle raged for hours. Glen watched, amused, as his life slowly went up in flames. He felt no desire to aid his parents, what happened to them, happened. Partially obscured by some underbrush across the street, Glen watched as his parents' pokemon fell, one by one, until finally it was only the two of them left, and they began taking martial measures against the pokemon. However, the black garmented people swarmed in around his parents, and Glen left.

He stowed away on the next ship out, which led to a series of adventures finally bringing him to Lenolia. He found a dwelling aboveground, abandoned of course. The pollution just simply does not bother him. He often makes forays below for food and other essentials, but that's about the entirety of his interactions, currently.

Description: While flying, it constantly emits ultrasonic waves from its mouth to check its surroundings.

Description: Capable of jumping incredibly high. Its hooves and sturdy legs absorb the impact of a hard landing.

Cyndaquil

Description: CYNDAQUIL protects itself by flaring up the flames on its back. The flames are vigorous if the POKéMON is angry. However, if it is tired, the flames splutter fitfully with incomplete combustion.

Quilava

Description: QUILAVA keeps its foes at bay with the intensity of its flames and gusts of superheated air. This POKéMON applies its outstanding nimbleness to dodge attacks even while scorching the foe with flames. This POKéMON is fully covered by nonflammable fur. It can withstand any kind of fire attack. Be careful if it turns its back during battle. It means that it will attack with the fire on its back.

Description: It lives along shores in northern countries. A skilled swimmer, it dives for over 10 minutes to hunt.

Description: Its forelegs have a muscle-based system of generating electricity. Its body shines if endangered.

Description: It sprays a nose-curling, stinky fluid from its rear to repel attackers.
