Name: Lucille Jacqueline Williams, although you can (and probably will) just call her Lucy.

Age: Eleven (and five sixths)

Hometown: Petropolis

Appearance: She has short, bright yellow hair, with orange highlights, and purple eyes. Her physique is typical for a girl of her age: That is, short, rather skinny, arms and legs with the strength of cheese sticks. Usually red about the face, because she plays outside a lot and burns easily. Her nose is somewhat large and distinctly triangular; she considers it her worst feature. Her battle wear consists of a light-blue T-shirt, a purple vest, and denim shorts, as well as a hot pink knapsack containing her stuff.

Personality: Lucy is happy-go-lucky to the point, at times, of stupidity. The pollution of her city doesn't bother her; she just thinks everywhere else is unusually cleaner. Father has to work all the time and talk to pretty girls so they can keep buying more stuff. The only jokes she knows (and, unfortunately, will tell if a conversation goes on long enough) are very lame ones along the lines of "Why did the Pidgey cross the road? To get to the other side!" It takes quite a hit to ruin her mood, and if you do manage to shatter her thoroughly, she will probably burst into tears; after that, however, her weapon of choice is her fingernails. Very idealistic about this whole Pokemon trainer thing: After battling someone (which, technically, Lucy has not ever done), she hopes to make friends.

Biography: Lucy was born into a nice family and has lived a comfortable life up to this point. She has never been more than fifty miles away from Petropolis except for one trip to Mt. Carello. Her parents are kind to her, but distant. Mother, Jacqueline Marian Williams, nee Hafsteller, is a stereotypical "perfect housewife", somewhat dissatisfied with her ultimate role in life but devoted to her children and the PTA. Father is uninvolved and a workaholic, but Lucy nonethless adores him. Lucy has an older brother, Robert, seventeen. He is more into technology, never went the traditional "adventuring trainer" route, and has just obtained an internship at a small business in Daioh. Slightly disproves of Lucy's optimism and affection for Pokemon, but they had a friendship while growing up.

Around the age of nine, Lucy got it into her head that she wanted to be a Pokemon trainer. She was thrilled to receive three Pokeballs and a Taillow imported from Leinolla for her eleventh birthday, and later used them to catch her Torchic. Over the next few months, she saved up allowance money to buy the items in her knapsack, and then she set out. Today, she is now eagerly convinced she can become a champion, and has set out walking along the route from Petropolis to Leinolla. It's only been two days, but things are going well so far, considering Lucy already caught a Gulpin.
