First of all, I apologize if this is against the rules, or if a similiar thread has been made. I didn't see anything on this in the rules, nor did I see a nickname help thread on the first page. I didn't look onto the second page, because I assumed that the threads that have fallen that far behinde aren't going to come back.

Now then~ This thread is for getting help with nicknames. If your stuck, you can post a link to your Pokemon and someone will you give suggestions for it. Or if your pokemon already has a nickname, but you aren't too happy with it, you can also post it here for help.

I'd better lay down some ground rules as well, or else this thread is liable to get spammy.

*Don't bust in here asking for clicks

*Don't post a long list of Pokemon nicknames that you just want to show off, this thread is to help name things only

*Don't post Pokemon images if you have a lot of Pokemon needing names. If there's a few, it's alright.

*Don't post something like 'those nicknames suck' That is not helpful. If you think they suck, at least tell us why.

Other than completely unorginal names like Rocky, let's see...

Emery -- Norman form of Amalric -- can be given in reference to the hard black substance called emery.

Lorelei -- From a Germanic name meaning "luring rock".

Oneida -- From the name of a Native American tribe, perhaps meaning "standing rock".

Rochelle -- From the name of the French city La Rochelle, meaning "little rock".

Sela -- Means "rock" in Hebrew.

Names without any real meaning:
She-Hulk
RollingStones * doggyears is shot *

And beacuse a 'golem' is actually a being made of clay:

Kaolin -- Variant of CAOLÁN. This is also the name of a type of clay.

Arianrhod (Welsh) - Star and Sky Goddess, Goddess of Beauty, Full Moon and Magical Spells. Closest thing to "Thunder" I could find.

Personally, I'd name it Dolphin or Manta, even though those are "obvious" marine names.

I was just being dry. I actually don't believe rats -- green ones -- have anything to do with Russia, but I always seem to come up with Slavic and Russian names for Rattata, so I guess I was just commenting on the weirdness of that. XD;
