Name: Krystal Allison Walker

Appearance: Krystal is 5' 9" and weighs about 134 pounds, most of this weight is because of her height. She has blonde hair that hangs down a little past her shoulders, about at her shoulder blades, and her eyes are a forest green color but may appear as a lighter shade of green depending on the lighting in the room/outside. She wears a short, nearly sleeveless, blue jacket over a white tank top, with the jacket usually open and just hanging there. She has a belt to keep her pokeballs on and a dark gray bag to carry around anything else, with the bag being simple at best. Think Misty's bag from the old pokemon episodes except dark gray. She wears capri pants that are the same color as her little half-jacket, and jet black boots that almost go up to the capris. The boots have short heels, the kind where you notice them, but it's not much harder walking. She has a red PokeEtch similar to Dawn's in the anime.

Personality: Krystal is very hot-headed, often charging into sticky situations and unwinnable battles because she does not take the time to think about it. She says a lot of things without thinking as well, mostly things she doesn't mean to say. She has become accustomed to doing this all because she is afraid of hesitating, thinking she will end up unhappy if she acts too late. Often it is the opposite, but she doesn't seem to notice and keeps on believing in rushing forward. Her Mudkip, Ichi, isn't too thrilled with her hot-headedness, and often tackles her to the ground when he feels she's being too fast about something. This happens a lot, but Krystal hopes it'll be replaced by a much softer (or so she thinks) water gun when Ichi learns it.
Now, her fear of hesitating too long isn't completely without sense, because if she thinks about something, she will often lose the nerve to do it. This upsets her other pokemon, Miku the Chikorita, and Krystal is quite lucky if the only thing she gets from Miku is a tackle, because razor leaves have their name for a reason.
When she's not making split-second descisions or hesitating herself to death, she can be quite an interesting person to have a conversation with. She enjoys company, no matter how much her actions may imply otherwise. She will gladly go on a journey with another person, even if for a short time. Although there are certain types of people she detests (we all have those, she dislikes people who are coldhearted and quiet), she will probably hang around them just the same if there's no one else. Really, when she's not being hotheaded or hesitating is when her and her pokemon really get along, it's what makes it all worth it.
She has a paralyzing fear of heights. She tends to look down. The one time not thinking would be a good thing and would actually get her through something, she would actually stop and think, then get stuck.

Biography: Nothing interesting happened in her life for a long time, her parents were both nice, her younger sister was annoying, her older brother was off on his pokemon journey, it was a pretty average life. Getting bored with all that, Krystal started to frequently leave Fidona when she was ten, unable to go to the mainland but enjoying walks on the island. She wandered into the forested part of the island one of these times, and as she did not have any pokemon, this was a dangerous endeavor. She was pretty deep in and got lost, kicking a tree in frustration (which, in the pokemon world, almost always gets you in trouble), thereby disturbing a nesting Chatot which proceeded to attack her with Peck. A passing Chikorita, concerned, used Grasswhistle to lull the Chatot to sleep. After Chatot was asleep, the Chikorita guided Krystal out of the forest. Krystal thanked the Chikorita and went home. In the morning, the Chikorita was outside her window. Krystal named her Miku and eventually caught her in a pokeball.
Now, she got Ichi when she was standing in the harbor, trying to catch at ferry to the mainland on her twelfth birthday. Her parents had finally let her start a journey with Miku, and now she just had to get to the mainland. Some fishermen had just come back in, and she saw a Mudkip caught in their net. She spoke to one of them, pointing it out, and the fisherman replied that they'd been trying to get it out all day, but the net was horribly tangled. Krystal asked about the net's age and its fate when the Mudkip was out. To her delight, the fisherman replied that the net was old and overdue for the garbage, and the Mudkip was all that was keeping it out of the trash. They could've used a knife to cut the net, but the one they had with them was pretty large and they didn't want to hurt the Mudkip. Krystal had Miku cut the net with Razor Leaf, for after two years, Miku was pretty accurate with it. The Mudkip got out and Krystal caught it, naming it Ichi. However, because of this ordeal she'd missed the last ferry for the day and had to return home.
She spent yet another two years at home since her younger sister was constantly wanting to play with Ichi and it was hard to get time to train. Finally, Krystal left the island on the ferry, but occasionally returns for short amounts of time.
