Appearance: Standing at 5'03", Sapphire's black hair reaches up to her shoulders, but she often keeps them tied up in a quite messy ponytail. She weighs at most 94 lbs, due to her slim figure. Her hair has blue shades that matches her dark blue eyes. She wears a midnight blue hoodie and a pair of tight-fitting black pants to match. Her pants are hugged to her waist by a shiny blue belt - where her Pokeballs are attached - that was given by her aunt. A blue shoulder bag - slightly darker than her hoodie - hangs at her right side, which keeps her other stuff.

Personality: Sapphire is mostly quiet, almost never bothering to speak unless needed. She prefers to be alone or with her Pokemon, not wanting to be with other people. Because of that, she never had many friends. She also has a fairly short temper, causing her to easily get annoyed at some people, even wild Pokemon. One can never really read her via her facial expressions, since she hides her feelings pretty well (except if she is really furious). During a battle, she remains calm, running through possible strategies while trying her best not to give out her game plan.

Biography: Sapphire was raised in a Pokemon-friendly family. She had one big sister - Aquamarine - who was a year older than her. Then a family problem that she couldn't remember up to now ruined their family apart. Her father - Aidan, in supreme anger, almost killed her mother - Sandra with a kitchen knife. It was lucky that her mother's sister - Diane - was coming to visit, and stopped him just in time. Her father fled, leaving his family heart-broken. Sandra along with Sapphire and Aquamarine moved in with Diane who lived a block away. Aquamarine and Sapphire were both traumatized by the experience, but the older took it well and moved on quickly. Aquamarine maintained her happy-go-lucky attitude while Sapphire became quite a loner, for she sometimes missed her father. Sandra convinced the two of them to go on a journey, and Aquamarine obliged easily. Sapphire hesitated though, not wanting to leave. Aquamarine caught her younger sister her starter Pokemon with her watching. Then Aquamarine had to leave for a trip on her own, leaving Sapphire alone. Sapphire then caught her second and third Pokemon and started her journey.
