im sure that Dawn is going to catch another pokemon before the Battle Frontier saga........my guess is an Eevee that will later on evolve into a Leafeon.......and also brock...i want him to have a rhyhorn or tangela....

I'm thinking that Brock will get a new Pokemon. I mean, he has small Pokemon and a small team. Iit'd only make sense he gets a new Pokemon. I'm thinking he will evolve his Happiny in Chansey, then Blissey because he wants to impress Nurse Joy. XD
Another idea coule be Dawn getting a Wormadam, or possibly Brock getting a Wormadam/Mothim.

I don't think it's possible for someone to catch an Eevee unless they're given eggs of it. Only May got one so far. Since May already got the Eevee, the other characters who are currently traveling with Ash can't get it anymore.

Hey, it's an assumption, but notice that most of the time, they have unique Pokemon in their team and avoid repeats unless they want to have a mini-story with those Pokemon?

Oh, and as for whoever will get a new Pokemon, Zoey should get a new Pokemon. Or Kenny or Paul.

i agree......neither of the characters can catch an Eevee in the wild......and maybe Dawn will catch a Pokemon that has an evolution in the next gen.

Oh yes, I know that xDD. I just want someone to be able to catch an eevee, I mean I want it to be possible. Yeah, Paul should get a new pokemon.

I still think that Ash isn't going to be the ones getting one >.> He /always/ gets them. And his party is like, full now anyways right? So why should he get one? (Though I do want Buizel to evolve. xD)

As for who will /catch/ one... I think it'll be Dawn. She only has like, three pokemon right? Not sure though.

And as the comment for James, has anyone else ever noticed he's only good with psychic types? The grass ones always try to eat him and everything else ignores him. xD God James, learn your type.

I am pretty sure that Dawn will capture a new pokemon, especially after Ambipom left, cause it will be replaced in the end.

If memory serves correctly, I think Ash and Dawn are the only characters to have ever owned electric types. (Dawn has Pachirisu, and Ash... well, you should know by now) I would really like Brock to get an electric type. Especially a Shinx/Luxio. Or maybe, via one of those telephone Pokeball-transport things, he'll get Marshtomp back and get it to evolve into Swampert. Sort of wishful thinking, but it's not impossible! I also am with the theory that his Happiny will evolve... but then he'll probably send it off "to train" at a nursing school.

Even though Ash is the main human character, he already has six Pokemon with him. I personally would choose Brock over Dawn in getting the next Pokemon. The last time he got a new Pokemon was episode 38, when Happiny hatched. We're now at episode... 137-138. Honestly, 100 episodes? Break out the Pokeballs, Brock!

Ash and Dawn (particularly Dawn) seem to be the focus of the "let's take unevolving Gen 1/2 Pokemon and create a new 4th Gen evolution for it" scheme, with Gliscor, Mamoswine, and Ambipom. So possibly Murkrow, Tangela, Magnemite/Magneton, Rhyhorn/Rhydon, or Magmar.

I see Ash as more likely to get Magmar or Rhyhorn, but Dawn more likely to get Tangela (she needs a grass-type) or Magnemite. Murkrow could go to either trainer, but Honchkrow seems more like Ash's type, especially to parallel Paul.

Well, to advertise HGSS, they'll give the cast some new Pokemon, probably ones from Johto. I can see Hoppip/Mareep for Dawn, and maybe Magnemite for Brock (it could eventually evolve into Magnezone - maybe being near the Johto-Kanto train tracks would be enough, it is a mag-lev train if memory serves correctly).

So far I think:

Ash: Infernape (evolved)
Torterra (evolved)

Dawn: Mareep
Hopip
Magby

Brock: Magnemite. Or, because the writers hate him, Magikarp.

Paul: Rhypherior. Give Jerkwad the abomination.

What about both Ash and May owning a Squirtle and a Bulbasaur?
Or Jessie and May both having a Wurmple (they evolved into different forms but still...)
And its not like otherwise uncatchable Pokèmon from the games aren't catchable in the anime.
Ash catches several starters in the wild after all..
I don't see a reason why Dawn COULDN'T catch an Eevee.

It made me wondering how did Gary got his Evee who is alredy an Umbreon.
