My first shiny I caught without cheating was a shiny nidoran male on my soulsilver. i still have him, and he is now safely on my x version.

My first shiny in Pokemon was a Gastly. But that was back in Pokemon Platinum, which was a rented copy.
My first shiny in Pokemon that wasn't a rented copy was a Golbat in Diamond. It's now a beautiful shiny Crobat in my copy of Pokemon Y, and I still love it to this day. The first shiny I saw was a Shiny Geodude in the Safari Zone... which procedded to run away. The first one that I caught was a Weedle..

My first shiny was a female rapidash in my heartgold. I have her still.
next I caught a female shiny blitzle in my pokemon white. I was traded a shiny nidaran (female) with wondertrade in pokemon y and my cousin gave me a female shiny zubat as a thank you for giving her a pokemon diamond game. All my shinies are female so far. even the obvious shiny gyarados from heartgold. |

I've never caught a shiny in any game....save the red gyarados. Tried and tried as I have, I've had no real luck in shiny catching in any shiny-applicable game.

First shiny (Besides the 4 shiny Gyrodos that I have... lol) was a shiny Hoppip on my Soul Silver. I had NO Pokeballs at the time except for a MasterBall...
It was an Absol-ute pain to catch Lugia later. Still have it, too.

My first legitimate shiny (not counting the scripted red Gyarados) was a Magikarp I caught on a completely random fishing stop in Omega Ruby, after well over a decade of nothing.
