I used to LOVE presents, but now that I'm older, I prefer getting a bit of money so I can go and buy the things I want, rather than receive things people think I want. I'm always grateful for anything I receive, though, to be honest

Honestly I don't really celebrate anymore (cause of depressing reasons oTL) but if I did, I would prefer presents from my friends (cause they might actually have an idea of what might be useful for me) but money from my parents.

I prefer flowers or cash, the cash is not so much because I don't like getting presents though, as it is that I love to save the cash for other things, and any bit I get helps.
