Broken Beyond Belief

When you find yourselves immersed in a world which you could never hope to understand, in a world where magic works differently and death is a high possibility, nightmares will become reality and sanity will be lost. You will come to each other's necks as you face what no other has seen and as you fight, as you suffer each chilling blow, you'll uncover the master of the realm and with their discovery, take their life. Yet, nothing in this realm or any other is the cure. We are broken beyond belief.
PLOT: It is a known fact that there are many worlds beyond ours. Some of which run alongside ours as if within a similar time or place and some which run on a distant path, on another line. There is a world line distant from ours that like the others has no bridges between. Not even the strongest magic from our world can access these bridges which seem to only be opened from the other side by those who knowingly or unknowingly wish to use them. Not only are these bridges nearly always closed, they are particular in who may travel upon them and only once before was there a being from our world who could not only walk the bridges but call them as well.
It has been many years since this being lived, never returning after crossing the most elusive of bridges but now more have been born with the gift. They don't realize it; they are no different from any other, yet, they may cross these bridges when one is presented to them. However, not all bridges are safe to be walked upon. The most elusive of bridges in particular.
This bridge connects to a world that has no control, a world where the very realm affects the events which take place in it. This realm has no life, no structure. It is violent and twisted, often lashing out at forms of life which venture into it. It replicates the worlds around it, without seeming to have an identity of its own. Yet, there is no question of the world's existence or being. The bridge to this world is called when wanted and seeks those which the realm needs. The world feeds and so calls those who can walk the bridges to it.
Those born in Ethos, a world filled with magic and fantasy, that posses the ability to walk the bridges will find themselves called upon by the elusive bridge. Unable to deny the bridge what it seeks, they will be forced into this chaotic world and there will find a creature which seems to have no being. He holds power in the world and with the arrival of the walkers , he will attempt to contact them. He will connect with them but he will hate them all the same. His action will be violent and deadly. The walkers will find themselves fighting for their lives while the realm takes a hold on them, imbedding itself in their hearts and grasping their souls. They will find themselves slipping away while the realm slowly consumes them and even if they manage to cross again, bridges don't forget. They are persistent and in time, they will call upon their walkers again.
*The remainder of the plot will not be revealed to allow roleplayers to adapt to the twists and turns as they would naturally respond. Events are affected by the decisions that are made but all roads lead to the same conclusion. Further details will be presented as they are needed.*
Setting (click to showhide) *This RP is set in the classic, medieval like, time period with limited technology.*
Bridges: Bridges appear to walkers as little flits of light. They are very small orb like lights and move about Ethos as they are called. All bridges, save for the elusive bridge (the only bridge that will be used in this RP), allow walkers to have the choice to use a bridge, however; the elusive bridge, which appears as a red orb, forces walkers to take it. These bridges can only be seen by walkers and are easily noticed, although normally bridges don't appear often in less populated areas. (Therefore, other bridges that will not be used in the RP will not be seen as often in less populated areas, however; the elusive bridge will appear to a walker no matter of their location) When the red bridge appears before a walker, even if they don't see it directly as it approaches, a walker will begin to develop a headache. Within a few short moments a sharp pain will break in their chest and their vision will seep away as the light of the bridge surrounds them. When the light clears they will find themselves in the other realm.
Their entire being is transported so anything they had on their person or that they were touching, not including other beings, will also come with them. Upon reaching the other side their pain will completely disappear, however; despite the process being exactly the same on a return trip, calling a bridge is far harder than being found by one that is calling you. (Bridges will be called under my direction so please do not mention seeing a red orb. You are however welcome to mention seeing other bridges' orbs, just do not answer their calls. Our characters have never walked bridges before and so won't even recognize what the orbs are.)
The Realm: The realm of the red bridge has no name and is simply referred to by what bridge takes you there. Our characters may craft names for locations or the realm itself, however; there is no official name to those of Ethos. The realm itself is bathed in dark tones; dusty brown, deep grey, endless black, and blood red. The sky is blocked out by a black cloud, like that of a thunderstorm, and often flashes as if lighting were rolling around its depths, however; lighting never strikes.
The landscape is distorted and uneven, like that of a jagged mountains surface. The land is dotted with numerous ruin like structures and is devoid of any and all beings. (This means that you will not recognize anything. You can certainly say that it reminds you of something but at no time ever in the RP will you actually see the exact something from Ethos.) The realm is always shifting and will react violently to the arrival of the walkers. This realm will never provide anything positive to them.
Ethos: Ethos is a world much like our own in that it is compromised mostly of water with numerous landmasses dotting its surface. Among the many independent territories are two countries, Era to the East and Merna to the West. Both live with minimal conflict and openly trade with one another. Sera is called the marketplace due to its abundance of hand crafted and produce items. Sera is filled with clustered, small towns with down to earth people. Merna is known as the furnace due to its abundance of natural resources. Merna is filled with widespread, large towns with hardy, strong people.
Home Towns (click to showhide) *The ten cities/towns listed below are not the only ones in Ethos but are the only choices for home towns. Species of all kinds can be found in any Home Town due to migration although the professions of each city indicate which species are more likely to be found there.*
Home Towns of Merna: -Denox: Denox is Merna's most populated, port city located on the Eastern Coast. Denox is the closest city to Sera and therefore the port is most commonly used for trade and transport, being that Merna and Sera aren't connected by land. Here resources of varying types are shipped to the eastern lands in exchange for supplies Merna does not have or has little of, such as produce. The streets of Denox are wide and populated, centered around trading stalls and the docks. This is the bustling center of Merna and is recognized for its high quality ships.
-Tartin: Tartin is Merna' most northern city. Tartin is an average sized city with hut styled architecture. Due to the weather of Tartin, which is cold and snowy nearly all year round, those who live here are strong and hardy. They are master firemakers and spend most of their time digging coal from the mines. Food is a little low but they are kept strong through trades. The sole reason this city exist is or the harvest of resources.
-Tera: Tera is Merna's largest resource and transportation city. Being located at nearly the heart of Merna, many travelers pass through every day on their trips across Merna. Here supplies and wagons are plentiful. The only downside to the pleasant lifestyle is that other than transportation, the city has no real purpose and is often hit by thieves due to the large numbers of supplies and minimal security.
-Sartania: Sartania is Merna's most South city and is the second port. This city was built so that the people of Durma, a small landmass below Merna, could easily trade with one another. It is a very peaceful and laid back port where the nicest people of Merna can be found. The relationships between Sartania and their neighboring port are strong and friendly. Their trade has been so prosperous and well over the years that passage is free and welcome.
Home Town of Durma: -Kalinow: Kalinow is Durma's most northern city and their only port. The city is a populous and highly friendly, being the main form of transportation and trade. They are traditional and down to earth, often having festivals simply for the fun of it. This city is the safest in Durma, with most of the southern portion being uninhabitable due to wild creatures, and is on wonderful terms with their neighboring port.
Home Towns of Sera: -Adema: Adema is Sera's largest and greatest port. This city is in constant trade with their neighboring port, shipping goods in exchange for tools. It is completely surrounded by farm land, produce being their main export, and is a city filled with a types of beings. It is truly a friendly place but also a place often hit by thieves due to the rarity of the incoming shipments.
-Geld: Geld is Sera's most northern city that is not located on the coast. Unlike one would think, Geld does not offer as a port for northern regions but as a city which lies between the two ports. This city is largely unaffected by neighboring cities and prides itself on their craftsmanship. It is believed that the best homemade items come from here.
-Nizuma: Nizuma is Sera's most southern city and is known as the heart of Sera. This city is filled with traders and farmers, all working to feed the country. It is regarded by most as the city with the best crops and so is often visited by buyers. The beings here are helpful to one another and are good down to earth people.
-Lara: Lara is the city that would most likely be described as Sera's 'heart', however; if it weren't for its closeness to the port, this city wouldn't even exist. It is decent farm ground but nothing compared to the wide variety of crops and herbs found in Nizuma. This city sees many travelers but very few that settle down. They are kind and full of desire to please.
Home Town of Ria: -Menostra: Menostra is the only city on the small land, Ria, just North of Sera. Menostra trades little and rarely ventures at all. These people are highly old fashioned and live off their own supplies. They have no need to be in contact with others and so don't make the attempt to do so. Strangers come every once and a while and they are welcomed but those of Menostra anticipate their quick departure.
Species (click to showhide) Vampires: Vampires are much like the classic vampire with fangs and pointed ears. They also have a need to drink blood and to refrain from being touched by sunlight. They can go some time without feeding before they die, however; they will be weakened. If they come in contact with sunlight they will also be weakened and feel pain until they die or get out of the light. Wrapping up with coats and hats will protect them from the sun and allow them to walk freely. (The skies of the realm are dark enough that sunlight is not an issue.) After reaching their prime they do not appear to age and will not die from old age.
They can perform a rare bit of magic, blood magic. (Due to this I will be limiting the number of vampires that can actively use this ability.) By manipulating their own blood they can perform bits of magic which other mages or those skilled with magic cannot. The downside to such a magic means that the user must have an open wound or create one to use such a magic.
Humans: Humans are much like that of what we think of. They are almost average in comparison to the other creatures of Ethos, yet; they are equally important. They are not exceptionally talented in magic, not compared to elves or vampires at least, but they are skilled at average levels. They are most skilled at elemental based magic, although, whether one is exceptionally skilled at a type of magic is determined over time and not at birth.
Elves: Elves are much like graceful humans with long pointed ears. They are admired and thought of to be elegant. Their skills with odd magic, those not elemental based, are great. Magic comes more easily t them where as mining comes more easily to humans. Elves are thought to be kind and generous but they can just as easily turn on you. They are the keepers of history and have extensive knowledge of all things due to the fact that once they reach their prime they do not appear to age and will not die of natural causes for a great deal of time.
Hybrids: Hybrids are essentially creatures that are a combination of a human and an animal. They possess physical and mental features of their animal counterparts. The various features that are most commonly like that of their animal counterparts are ears, wings, and tails although other features are known to occur. Hybrids are not fully human or fully animal but a combination of the two. They are traditional and excel at elemental based magic. Their area of expertise outside of magic is gathering and farming.
Magic (click to showhide) Magic in Ethos is simple and based around transfusion, manipulation and to some extent creation. Each being seems to have a specialty, such as that of an element, however; magic in the red realm is completely different from that in Ethos. Ethos based magic requires only thoughts, words, and motions but does not require a base energy. Magic strength is determined by experience and knowledge. Magic in the red realm requires a direct energy flow from the user in unison with thoughts, words, or motions and is chaotic. Its strength is determined by experience and energy provided. Using large amounts of energy can lead to these symptoms in order of arrival as more energy is used: headaches, pains, blurred vision, nausea, black outs, serious wounds, and death. It is possible to skip over symptoms, such as blackouts. Most often whatever type of magic one excels at in Ethos will be related to the type of magic used in the red realm, however; abilities to not directly transfer. They are all altered to a degree. Regardless, powers are harder to manipulate in the red realm and so it will be like they are first learning to use their powers again.

The Appearance of He, the Creature of the Realm: He has two appearances, that of his true appearance, and that of his physical rendition. His true appearance is similar to that of a haze or cloud. It is of a dark grey/black color and does not hang in a particular form, this is to mean that he doesn't look like a humanoid cloud figure, simply a clouded haze. In this form he has no physical features which indicate how he sees, hears or speaks, yet; he can do all three. His voice seems to emit from within him and almost within everything else.
His physical rendition is that similar to that of a vampire. He stands at six' seven'' with light grey toned skin. His ears are pointed but no wear near as long as that of some elves. His hair is slicked back and longer in length, fanning around his ears. It is white in color and youthful. His eyes are amber with slitted pupils while his facial features are elegant and almost noble. In fact, his entire appearance give off an air of nobility, upper class gentleman.
For attire, he wears a dark red, almost maroon jacket. This jacket has a high collar and a V neck, through which can be seen his exposed chest. The V cuts about mid chest, seeming both sides of the jacket together through a button system The sleeves of the jacket are long and have white cuffs at the ends, both buttoned with a black clip, while the bottom of his jacket cuts in the back almost like that of at tuxedo's jacket. While the primary color of the jacket is maroon, the buttons on the front as well as the inside of the jacket's collar and other various details are black.
Being that the jacket is the only piece of clothing which adorns his upper body, his lower body wear consists of a simple pair of long black pants with black boots. The boots are fashioned with white buckles. Therefore, his attire is that of formal wear and his attitude almost equally thus. In addition, small will-o-wisps of a faint black, red color seem to wisp from his frame, primarily his back and feet, while his forehead is framed almost like that of a crown due to the horns/spikes protruding from his head. (Two larger in the front and two smaller to the sides.)
Tyre Neire (Example) (click to showhide) -Username: Wishful Jirachi -Character Name: Tyre Neire -Species: Human -Gender: Male -Age: Appears 32/ Is 223 (punishment for abusing his powers/details at end of powers) -Home Town: Adema -Power: In Ethos, Tyre is highly adapt with magic in one field, shapeshifting. This he was taught by the elves in his younger years. Using this ability he can copy the outer appearance of any being which he comes in contact with; however, he can only copy their appearance. He cannot copy memories, personality or other portions of the being, including voice. Regardless of what ‘form’ he is in, he cannot manipulate the frequency patters which make up that being’s voice and therefore maintains his original voice. Remaining in any form, which is not his original form, will demand a small portion of energy to maintain as long as he remains in that form. Side effects of this consist of headaches and a pain in his side. This can easily be fixed or lessened by returning to his original form. In the Red Realm, his ability is altered into that of a fusion based ability. Now, when he attempts to use his ability, he will fuse with his weapons, particularly his hands and lower arms. For example, this would mean that if were wielding a sword at the time the hilt of the blade and his hand would fuse with one another and on some level would become an extension of himself. At first this change will be involuntary and quite painful, however; as time progresses small mastery will be gained, yet, the pain of the fusion will never fully dissipate. In fact, performing such an action, will leave the fused location scared, raw and bloody as his skin will essentially be ripped and stretched to fuse with the weapon. Age Reference- Tyre has lived far longer than he should due to the overuse of his power. Therefore his punishment was to age at a slower rate and to in time lose what he loves. This is why he is protective of what he has and unwilling to gain new things. He does not want to lose anything else and does not want to think fondly of what he has lost. -Weapons: Being a mercenary, Tyre has a great need for being able to use weapons efficiently. Therefore he is trained in two styles of fighting: sword play and knives. Despite his training in sword play, he does not carry a sword. His outlook on this is that a sword is far too cumbersome and is so easily identifiable that he may be noticed far easier during missions. However, he can still efficiently fight with a sword if he were to acquire one either through buying one from a shop for particular mission or stealing it from an enemy. His preferred weapon of choice is the knife. He has a leather rig above his vest and under his jacket that wraps around his back and stays in place by two straps that run over his shoulders. This rig has six sheathes, three on each side, which hold his knives in a cross hand draw style, hilts foreword. The knives themselves are thin but Elvin made so durable. The hilts are black and so blend with his jacket, keeping his knives hidden. He also has two additional knives which are longer and thinner than his other six. These two blades lie above his gloves, under his jacket wrist. These blades slide out from their sheaths when he flicks his wrist, shifting his middle finger. This occurs because a wire runs from a clip to a ring around his finger and is released when he flicks his wrist. The blade stops five inches from his wrist and lock until he thrusts his arm backward, forcing them to slide back into their sheaths. Because of the nature of his knives, he often fights in a very structured manner. He never fights dirty and actually shuns upon those that do, in particular lecturing his partner. His sense of honor is actually quite high compared to what one would think the average mercenary would possess but it is his excessive greed which makes up for this downfall. He uses skill and brute force to outsmart his opponent and therefore claim victory. This may be seen as somewhat un-honorable as he is attempting to catch his opponent off guard; however, he sees this as simple a matter of survival and therefore a necessity. -Appearance: Tyre stands at five' eleven'' with rather lively skin for his age. His appearance is youthful and bright as he stopped aging many years ago due to overuse of his shapeshifting abilities. His build is quite bulky rather than thin and skinny, allowing him to apply a great deal of force if needed. His muscles, despite being quite prominent, do not show under his cloths. His eyes are bright blue and hair a cropped blonde with matching eyebrows and small goatee. His eyes are extremely bright blue, giving off the appearance of being somewhat ice like or clear like the waters of the ocean. They are always calm and rarely ever show a hint of anger. His hair, which is bright, bright blonde, as if it were bleached many years ago and never faded to a dull brown, is cut extremely short. His bangs mesh with the top of his hair, forming a rather spiked affect. The back of his head is cut in a similar fashion, creating a very short spiked effect that is slightly longer in front and shorter in back. His hair trims at the bottom of his neck and does not cover his face as his bangs are non-existent. His sideburns are small and form fitting to his ears. His goatee is small, beginning tapered under the lower lip and expanding to curve under the chin. This hair is quite thin and is kept uniform. His upper wear consists of three layers: a shirt, over vest, and cloak like jacket. The first layer, the shirt, is a dark brown or somewhat maroon color. It is form fitting with short sleeves and a gold trim. This shirt is only seen slightly below his vest as it meets in a point in the middle of his torso. Above his shirt is a vest with the same maroon base color and gold trim. This vest is also short sleeved and has a high collar, which frames around his neck. This vest is stitched shut in the front and therefore must be pulled over the head to remove. The stitching along with six, thin golden bars, three on each side, of the bottom of the vest match the golden trim. The vest’s cut is V shaped and exposes his neck as well as a small portion of his chest; however, he does not have chest hair. The bottom of the vest cups just below his hips in the class upside down V shape. His lower wear is rather plain compared to his upper ware, consisting of a simple pair of pants and boots. These pants are black, matching the cloak, but are looser than the rest of his apparel. They are for the most part devoid of accessories such as pockets except for two small ones on the front upper portion, located on most pants. The pants fan out more around his legs and so cover his matching black boots. The boots clip just below his ankles and have matching black soles. They are fastened by belt buckles wrapped around the top. There are three of them, each with golden buckles, which are evenly spaced along the leg of the boot. Over his entire outfit is his black, leather cloak like jacket. This jacket, despite being able to close with three belt buckles, is left open. The jacket itself is black and for the most part rather plain except for a golden insignia on the left collar and the matching belt buckles. The collar itself fans out and rests on his shoulders due to the fact that the jacket is held open instead of closed. This jacket is form fitting until it reaches his hips and then fans out, trimming just below his knees. The sleeves are long and wrap firmly around his palm. In addition to his basic apparel, he wears numerous leather rigs as well as a few piercings. The piercings are made of smooth silver and are located on his face: one on the ear, two on his left eyebrow and one under his lip. The piercing on his ear is thick and wide, clipped to the top of his ear. In addition to this piercing is an additional black one on the lobe of his ear. The piercings on his eyebrow are thin and small, clipping near the left edge on the side of his face. The piercing on his chin is round, unlike the others that are cylinder like rings, and goes through his lower lip. He wears a pair of black fingerless gloves underneath his cloak, matching the color so that it creates the effect that the jacket and gloves are one piece instead of two. Around his wrists are three letter straps that cross over each other from his wrist to half to his elbow, brown in color with golden buckles. On his left shoulder is another leather rig that is black with golden buckles. This rig wraps around his upper arm and then attaches to this cloak underneath the left collar. Around his neck is another loose fitting leather rig which is a mixture of the brown leather and black leather with the same golden buckles. This rig is thin around his neck but wider in the front with two golden bars and a golden circle between them. This rig offers protection for his neck but can also be pulled over his mouth for various reasons. In addition to these rigs are two belts worn around his torso. One belt wraps around his upper torso, hanging from his right shoulder. This belt is three inches wide and hangs around his body, clipping under the left arm. His other belt is slightly thicker and wraps around his hips. Attached to this belt is a cord with a golden ID card tied to the end. This ID card lists basic information such as name, age, gender, race, and contact information. This cards main purpose is for identification if he were to be killed, however; he doesn't plan to do so. -Personality: Tyre is in all respects a mercenary. He has no ties, no relations, and simply sells his skills to those with the highest pay. He'll take on jobs of all kinds but is particularly skilled at theft. His excessive greed compels him to charter himself out to as many employers as he can and receive ample pay for his efforts. This means that he will not take on work which is not worth the pay, but he is willing to take on work that is dangerous if the reward is great enough. If pay is slow or inadequate, he simply steals. His greed compels him to do so and due to his many years of perfection, he is quite skilled at doing so or at least escaping pursuers if he happens to be noticed. In fact, he met is partner during one of his mission. She had been hired for the same mission by a different employer and when they ran into each other, Sybil, using her charms, convinced him to work with her. He was naturally wary and he wanted the bounty for himself but before he could shake her with the prize, she double crossed him and took it all. Naturally, he couldn't return to his employer empty handed so he didn't but he didn't forget the vampire who had bested him. Eventually they met again and somehow became partners, for real this time, and they became a good team. She was ruthless and witty and he was determined and honorable. Actually, his sense of honor is quite surprising for someone of his profession and is often scoffed at by Sybil for this and for using weapons in combat. In exchange, he finds her dirty fighting distasteful, yet, no matter how much they bicker or fight, he wouldn't trade her for anything. At his age you don't have a lot of companions after all, let alone one that is practically his sister. He's not as rash as her but he is just as stubborn, particularly with her. He'd never push her too hard, but he won't let her win without a fight. His fighting style is actually based around brute force and skill, two tactics which secure him victory again all opponents except her. He would never want to admit that she is better than him at anything, despite her belief that she is better. As far as he is concerned, fighting honorably and getting paid are the two most important things about a mission other than Sybil's and his own safety. He isn't one to shy away from demanding greater pay either. He'll simply make up some excuse that makes his task more difficult till the employer either falls for it or decides to pay him to simply get him to leave. Either way, he can pull off a lie well and if that doesn't work, he can back it up with brute force. He does have slight trouble in this regard with Sybil, being that she's so good at deducing when someone is lying. In fact, he grew tired of not being able to trick her and so has resorted to simply telling her the truth. Despite knowing and believing that Sybil is old enough to take care of herself, he can't help but feel inclined to take care of her as well, if not because they are partners but because she is practically his sister and so is even more important than his greatest greed, money, or himself. He has a brotherly fondness for her and wishes to keep her safe, yet, he can't help put poke fun at her like any brother would. Of course with kind intentions but poking none the less. She would denounce any need for help or any attempt for him to show affection, such as messing her hair up and stopping her from rushing into fights she's not prepared for. Otherwise, his most common form of communication are looks when he thinks she's being particularly difficult or inappropriate. His level of intelligence is slightly above average but primarily focused in certain areas, such as his shapeshifting, combat, and thieving. He can adapt, but to a degree. He finds that his thoughts on honor hinder his ability to fight those who play dirty. This is a conflict with Sybil as well and in the end he either has to drop his notion of honor, for that fight, or find a way to trick his opponent. One thing is clear though, losing is not an option. Tyre is typically calm and doesn't speak very much, unless the topic in question involves money or Sybil. He doesn't share is past and isn't one to be nostalgic with memories before he met Sybil unless they are memories of successful missions. If others try to tell him about their past, he doesn't have much interest and normally won't add his own input. He doesn't care for conversations not with employers or Sybil and sometimes he can't even handle those. He can be happy, just after a successful mission for example, and angered/determined, like during a mission or if Sybil were in danger. -History:Some details above but mostly N/A

Shadow uses his sword for most of his magic, and it is the focus of his entire plan. He uses it for various things, but his specialty is setting it on fire. He can used his sword as a sort of batan as well and control animals with it. He learned this in the forest he grew up in, he loves these powers and cherishes them. Side effects of overuse include the lost use of his right arm and being unable to walk.
Shadow in the Red Realm uses his sword as a conductors Baton as well, but more powerful. Shadow uses this to control a sweet symphony of music, which can bring out different emotions in people or animals, such as when he plays a quickly tempo'd song it will cause pain to shoot through his target, and a slow tempo'd song may cause the loss of the will to fight. He cannot use this on humanoids yet because he has barely mastered the skill, but he enjoys it anyway since he has always loved music. Side effects from over use incluse the lost use of his right arm and a massive headache.
-Weapons: He uses a small rapier which he keeps in a small leather sheath on his waist. -Appearance: A rather short elf, he stands 5' 4", and tries his best to seem taller. He wears a simple tunic that is a dull red color and loves to go bare-footed. His hair is red as well but is striking as a bright color, his eyes match, but in the opposite way, being a very deep red with small emerald rings. His hair stands a half inch off of his head and he doesn't like it too long, unlike most elves. His arms are slightly muscled due to the use of his sword, but his left arm is barely used at all. His feet are well callused from running bare-foot and his legs are well muscled from long hours of training. He loves to run and does so often, building up his legs even more. He trains with his sword often as well, building his right arm up, even though his left arm is lacking immensely to keep up. -Personality: He likes to hide his emotions as best he can, he is tired of people ridiculing him for his silly thoughts and actions sometimes so keeps to himself as best he can. He has little to no friends exept for his mentor and himself. When he does open up to people he is fun-loving and is kind. He loves having company even though he doesn't show it. He loves nature and spends time there often, he feels that it calms him and helps him to relieve stress. The forest is like a second home to him and he crerishes any time that he spends there, with his busy schedule it is generally short breaks when he can escape. He uses this time to connect with nature, and when disturbed is very easily angered. Anyone disturbing him had better have a good reason or they may have to run for their lives. -History: He used to live in the forest, trained by his mentor and then moved to Geld to try and help others with his abilities.

She can manipulate it to be what ever. She only ever uses this during big fights. But when she does, she does not take the fighting lightly. She can create the fire, and control what it consumes. But if her mind is not set in the right direction, it may get ugly real soon. In the Red Realm, her control over fire weakens. She can still use it, but it is a lot harder for her to tell it where to go and what to consume. When she uses it here, she often loses control easier. Aurelia also has a hard time getting out o her fire rage state. -Weapons: Broadsword, which she carries upon her back. The hilt is black. Her stepmomma's brother gave it to her and showed her how to use it without looking weak and awkward. She can use it with ease and without struggling what so ever. Poisoned knives which every female in her family had been taught to use at a young age. Her momma had taught her to use this before she passed away. These are in black leather sheaths in her boots, on her waist and in her shirt sleeves. -Appearance: Aurelia She has red eyes, and black hair. Aurelia stands at 5' 3''. She wears a black shirt and black bagy jeans. He shirt is bare at her shoulders, and comes to the middle of her stomach. He jeans are long, and cover her legs all to her ankles. She wears high heeled black, buckled boots. These give her a 2 inch height. Her hair falls just below her shoulders. She always keeps this down. In her pockets when she is not wearing them, she has dark sunglasses, which she wears to hide her red eyes. On her neck, you can barely see the bite marks where she was bitten at. The skin is slightly lighter than the rest of her pale body. -Personality: Aurelia is often quiet. She does not speak her mind, and doesn't talk about her feelings. When she was little, her pappa had beat her for speaking her mind on him marrying someone else when her momma was murdered. After that, since she had never been beaten before, she had kept her mouth shut, afraid to talk for fear of being beaten again. She wants nothing but blood. She has not yet fully controlled her instincts. When she can, she saves her prey from dying inorder to drink from them. Also, she likes the strength it gives her. Although, deep in side, she wants someone to hold her. Tell her they can be there and take care of her. But she won't ever tell you that. Don't make her mad, she has a temper that, once released, it is hard to destroy. In order to make her mad, the best way is tell her she is nothing and is a cold hearted being. That she is hated and won't ever be like the humans. Aurelia also tends to follow others, rather than make up her mind on her own. -History: Aurelia was once a sweet girl. She had her stepmomma and pappa to take care of her. But one day, she waited for her pappa to get home from home. Someone had come and was talking to stepmomma. Than, she heard silence. Walking around, Aurelia had searched hard for her stepmomma, and panicked. She ran out the back door, and was attacked. She felt a sharp pain, every where. than in her neck. And everything went black. She awoken, to find blood on the ground, but no one was anywhere to found.

@2Gamers:  I'm overjoyed to see that "Seel" of Approval. Thank you and I hope you enjoy. =) @Shadow and Angel: I'd like to firstly thank you for showing interest. Secondly, I do not mean anything hurtful by this, but there are some issues that would need to be resolved if the profiles were to be accepted. This RP will take dedication and so the profiles need to be given the same amount of dedication as expected in posts and quite frankly, for the time being, the profiles could be better. @Shadow: -Age: Elves do not appear to stop aging, in most references, until they are in their late twenties, thirties or so. Therefore, your character will not appear to be ten when they are sixteen. They would in fact appear to be sixteen. While sixteen is an alright age, an older age would fit the RP better. -Power: It's quite frankly a little cliche. By that I mean to have your characters name be the same as their power and to an extent the power itself. The powers in Ethos are yes, meant to be generic, but the powers in the red realm are meant to be chaotic, disordered. If you could take a thought to altering it, I'd appreciate that. -Weapon, Appearance, Personality: They just aren't detailed enough. I don't feel like I know your character at all. Why not explain how they fight? How they would react in certain situations? What kind of haircut does he have? Does he have any scars? Any birth marks? Something. I'm already letting you get away without a history. A personality is required. @Angel: -Age: Her appearance should not be 13, but older. You also neglected to include her actual age. Note that a vampires appearance is not the age at which they were turned into a vampire. -Power: Please expand. I also would like the red realm ability to be somehow related to the ethos ability as it means that the red realm twists them. Having a completely different ability does not portray this. -Weapons, Appearance, Personality: More detail please. What types of weapons, specifically? Why does she know how to use so many different kinds? 'some type of red gown' is very vague. Where does it cut? What length is her hair? Does she have a scar on her neck from where she was bitten? Why is she silent? Is the reason she simply wants blood because she hasn't mastered controlling her vampire instincts? What makes her mad? Edit: For those using the profile sheet, I added a min age. Please note this.

I know I'm not Wishie (I did help her with this, though  ), but I think something good for everyone would be to read Wishie's example profile; it's quite long, yes, but it should give you all a good idea of what she's looking for in a profile. It doesn't have to be that long, however. Also, Wishie, Sybil has that wonderful blood magic, if you'd please add that when you put her in the reserved list.

The appearance is a bit bare-bones for my tastes... but I'd accept it, personally.
In my opinion, maybe a bit more info in appearance would be good, as well as some more in the personality department; you could get the structure in the example profile, it would greatly help. I'd say perhaps at least a juicy paragraph for it? Ultimately, it's in Wishie's hands, just the way I see it~
