Well, my brother tells me that, but he doesn't count, I suppose.
HM. Well, no one (apart from my brother) calls me a baby just because I like Pokemon. I know a lot of people my age in my school who still play Pokemon, so it's sort of cool. :'D It's kind of timeless, really. Although I have to admit I sometimes feel a bit childish for liking Pokemon so much at my age. xD -------------------- |

I really couldn't care what others think :\ I remember my mum telling me I'd be sick of pokemon by the age of 10. I'm 16 now, guess she's wrong. And there's noting wrong with Pokemon (Although I'm not a big fan of the new pokemon [except Ikarishipping]) But I've been watching pokemon since it first came out. I'm not about to stop now because it's "Childish"

I have. They say not only pokemons, other anime too. But they didn't say it 'babies', they say 'childish', or else I would be hurt, it's my best friends telling me that! Well, I guess they are right. We are not children anymore now.

Not yet. A lot of people know I still play it and they've simply accepted it.
Pokémon has been a life-long hobby of mine. No-one's opinion is going to change my mind. |

My dad used to tell me that. =/ I just told him the games are a lot more complex than they look on the surface, and most little kids wouldn't be able to understand all the mechanics and technicalities you need to work with to be able to keep winning.
I had a calculator out once when I was EV training, and my dad asked what I needed the calculator for. I explained the basics of how it worked, and he sort of seemed interested after that and asked a few questions. I guess he thought since it involves some level of math, it's OK for me to be playing it now. :P -------------------- |

I've heard it on the internet mainly XP No one around here really goes around saying its for kids. And on forums its usually just trolls or some other type of idiot trying to act "cool" and failing miserably.

Not recently.
However my answer would be that I've liked it since I was a preteen. After all there are adults whom like the smurfs, transformers, and other classic things all once aimed for children but made their money off the more mature audience. As for the computer game, that seems alot more acceptable in the haunting publics eyes that roam out there. ¬-¬ |

Not quite, but I've had people tease me for drawing them or collecting Pokčmon cards... when I wasn't.
I quit Pokčmon cards at the same time as everyone else in my class and stopped drawing them. That made me wonder just who was obsessed by it when they were the ones seeing Pokčmons everywhere in my drawings of random forest creatures:/ This went on all they way through Junior High and eventually developed into me getting quite offended when someone asked if my animals were Pokčmon:p This post has been edited by Usagi Zakura: Nov 24 2009, 09:34 AM -------------------- Uxie Anitarig Daisuke Weasley Sceptile Rika |
