@Moogle: Ya know, EC's initial reaction upon arriving in the room (i.e. listening for whether the door locked behind her, and then taking stock of the situation) strikes me very much as something Mikayla would do; not very trusting is my ex-street ratatta. XD The only difference I can see is that Mikayla would evaluate the situation in her head, rather than actually mutter about it aloud.

@Runi: Well it seems that Gifted is off to a very traumatic exciting start. Kudos to you! To be honest, since I read your last post, I can't stop picturing the fiasco that would be Mikayla getting manhandled and shoved in a test tube. She would end up in one of them despite her struggles, of course. She'd just make sure to take down at least one of her tormentors in the process (by KO'ing them most likely, although killing them would be a much more satisfying result for her if she could manage it). Just out of curiosity, would Mikayla have been accepted if I had the time to participate?

@everyone: If you all don't mind my asking, do any of you have an opinion on what gijinka Mikayla would have been? You don't have to answer if you don't want to or don't have any idea, and I certainly won't bite your head off for it. That's Mikayla's job. *shot* I've just been kinda curious about it, especially since the topic has actually gotten underway. So, yeah... Any suggestions?

Arggg I’m crying on the inside because I really wanted to make Arsen a Girafarig…but then I remembered that I already have a Girafarig Gijinka (though he gets no love QQ). So I did Sceptile.
Omg he’s the perfect gardener now…
Oh. And he was going to sparkle green in the light, but then I feared that Stephanie Meyer might call copyright infringement. Ah well, another day.

Gijinka Appearence; Arsen hasn’t changed in stature and still retains his original height of 5”10. However, he has slimmed down from his original weight; any shred of fat that he had before has seemingly disappeared, leaving him with a more defined muscle toning than before. His legs in particular have bulked up, the definition in his thighs and calves having increased so that even when he relaxes, it looks like Arsen is flexing his lower body.

In contrast to his former completion, his new skin has appeared to darkened slightly and in the light, it seems to take on a green tinge. Unlike before, Arsen now has a few visible marking, mostly on his torso and back. Right above his hips is a red band that wraps around his lower body and rests just underneath his belly-button. Across the front of his chest is a strange thin black stripe that dips into a V shape at his sternum. Two similar lines run down the middle of his back, on either side of his spine.

Working upwards, the former grey-haired man has unfortunately, lost his signature hair colour. Now, his tresses are faded green and internally, Arsen debates about whether to dye it again. The cut has, however, remained the same. His facial features haven’t changed much, save for a slightly smaller nose. Interestingly enough, he didn’t inherit the red colouring that a Sceptile normally has under his jaw, though his eyes have obtained a thin underlining of red. The outer corners of his eyes, now a shocking yellow, have also been coloured red. This change, however, can only be seen from close up and is almost unnoticeable from afar. On the sides of his head, two green protrusions a similar shade as his hair have developed. They seem to be an extension of his skull, though most people mistake them for ears (especially when they’re covered by his hat).

Along his arms (which have slimmed down slightly), Arsen has obtained, strangely enough, a retractable leaf blade. Unlike his Pokémon counterpart, he only has one leaf and it is very thin; normally, he keeps it tucked inside his forearm, but in times of shock or anger, they will extend and are as sharp as a knife. His fingertips have morphed into pointed claws that are capable of easily piercing flesh, though he is working on keeping them from doing so (his toes, luckily, haven’t morphed to this extent lest he run out of shoes).

His most noticeable feature though, is the strange tail on his backside. Though not as long as a Sceptile’s, the green palm-tree-branch appendage still reaches a length of a food and a half. It should be noted that while Arsen has no control over it, it appears to be an extension of his spine and will still react to physical sensations. One additional feature that has developed is two small yellow nodules that grow on the back of the man’s neck. They appear to be like seeds and Arsen can pick them off painlessly; the re-growth time is about a week. Like a Sceptile, these strange orbs are packed with nutrients, though Arsen can eat them as well and gain a slight energy boost.

Moreover, the previously-lanky man has increased in speed, though not in an overly noticeable way. His reflexes have gotten quicker and his running speed has gotten faster; unfortunately, his stamina remains the same. Slightly more agile than before, Arsen has taken a liking to wildlife and basking in the sun whenever he can, though he isn’t cold-blooded.

And of course, Mikayla would have been accepted! Reading over her profile, i can very easily see her acting that way. And if i were to quickly take a guess (i'd rather not go through the randomizing process again), i think i'd have to agree with whoever suggested Mightyena (can'trememberSHOT)!

E.C. tends to mutter to herself because it helps her think and she learned it off her brother who was originally based off my brother. My brother does that when he is working things out and I have caught myself doing it on the rare occasion too.

She also only listened to the door because she was basing what would happen on what she knew about horror games from when she was younger. One of the most common things to do is lock the people in so they can't escape and it usually makes people unhappy. To Christina, everyone else seems stupid for not noticing the door locked behind them. XD

For Mikayla, I'd instantly suggest Houndoom. They become overly aggressive when their young are threatened which suits her child protecting nature. Secondly, I would suggest Weavile just because they are naturally hostile. Thirdly, even though this might seem odd at first, I would suggest Chansey. Why? Because she does have a big heart and is quite motherly so it would be a representation of who she is on the inside. Mightyena could also possibly work if you counted the children as a pack of young and Mikayla as the leader who would defend them because they can't defend themselves yet. XD

Fallen - Aye, Arcy does have a teensy bit of a stubborn streak at times, as do he also have the odd habit of occasionally refering to himself in the third person, which oh-so-happens to be a sign of dementia. :P

Don't worry about that PM by the way. Reply to it if you really want, but there's no rush or anything. If I recall, everything I said in there any pretty much got concluded in this thread, so there's no big loss in that sense (but that I also means I don't get to talk to you )

Oh, and I already suggested Mightyena and Houndoom for Mikayla, simply for the fact that Mikayla is either a Houndoom or a Mightyena personality wise. They're, like, perfect matches, and all that shiz.

Runi - I'm obviously not saying right now that I think it was me that suggested Mightyena first, though it could have been Sam. Oh no obviously not.

Oh God, I can imagine it now. "Butthead, the Grumpy Gardening Gijinka". That should so totally be a TV show.

Oh, and there's something I've been meaning to ask for a while now, though leaving it 'til later has probably given me even less of a chance of getting this approved by you. Would I be able to tweak Chris' Gijinka appearance a little? I seem to have come to the conclusion that he simply must have those spikes on the back of his hands, though he most certainly isn't going to have that spike on his chest. That's all I want to add, promise.

And I actually had some different ideas in mind for your Pokemon DNA. Nidoqueen because, to me, this Pokemon seems to be a vicious creature but with a motherly undertone (which is often ignored or rejected because ingame it can't breed). Next up would be Luxray and Granbull. Both seem like sinister yet nurturing Pokemon XD Luxray more so than Granbull. Lastly Usaring would make a suitable canidate to be injected into you X3

Mightyena and Houndoom seemed good too but perhaps just too dark to be big-hearted or protective in my eyes. They both seem like...solo creatures.

And to be honest Runi I was surprised no one mentioned Audino for Syl XD I was aiming for it with her personality but everyone mentioned Audino's sister Pokemon Chansey and Clefairy. X3 I'm pleased for being an Absol though because she'll be a challenge to draw.

And fffff I lawl'd so hard at the mention of Butthead Gardener XD Seriously he'd make such a cute chibi <3 Must draw, must draw! It'll have to be after my sleepover though D: The beach was fun but I'm only home for another 30 minutes before I'm gone for the rest of the night. I disagree with this part greatly. Houndoom is mentioned as a VERY protective Pokemon in Bulbapedia and both are nowhere near solo creatures, they live in PACKS like all dogs do (your family is their pack after you gain a dog). In fact, the best skill of Mightyena is the ability to work perfectly with the members of their pack by obeying their leader's orders. And you also seem to be forgetting that a very common dog trait is the desire to protect who they like.

It is also mentioned that Mightyena will be quite friendly with people they like by licking their faces while Houndoom is mentioned as being overly aggressive only when itself, its children, its owner or its territory are threatened. Houndoom tend to be fairly intelligent, alert and focused so they'd also know it would be stupid to waste time by attacking people that don't deserve it such as children who can't defend themselves.

They are still canine Pokemon even if they are dark types and they can have aggressive streaks but they can also be incredibly loyal and caring and WILL protect who they care about.

Runi - Thankies for the approval, I went ahead and edited both my Gijinka Post and my Subject Post with the altered Gijinka Appearances. Right then, they're not being changed any more. No sir ma'am.

Oh, and how exactly are we going about introducing our Loyals, by the way? Is it simply a case of a random intro post at the loyal's house, where we mention that a Gijinka is being delivered? Or is there some kind of gathering akin to that of the subjects? Sorry if this is kind of obvious to everyone else, but my brain seems to be not functioning so well recently. Seriously, that two paragraph edit of Chris' appearance took me like two hours

Well, i want each Loyal to at least have an intro post so that they can get the descriptions of their humble abodes out of the way. By doing this, the Gijinkas can be appropriately shocked, but will at least know their setting. I was thinking that because everybody's knocked unconscious, they would just be delivered like that with the collar and everything. From then on, it's a bit of Loyal & Gijinka interaction.

And as for the Loyals meeting up, because everyone's upper class, i was thinking of like a hoity-toity party of some sort |D

Just to point out, when I am very tired, I may call characters the names of characters I use. I did that last night with Darkie. I called my character Kera, who is a shy little mouse, E.C.. Ya know, the misunderstood short-tempered person that is barely like her with her manner of acting. I usually connect personality or action to a name that seems to be the right one when I is very sleepy. XD

I don't use Bulbapedia for descriptions of Pokemon. I kinda judge based for myself on each Pokemon. But the description you gave makes sense because they are both canine Pokemon but from what I see like...they don't seem that way XD Especially Houndoom but that's because when I use a Houndoom character they are usually a loner like keeper of some sort. Snappy, easily agitated, etc.

When I have time I'll draw the subjects XD It be so much fun but I have so many character references to work my way through.

A party sounds fun but it might be too much of a culture shock for some subjects XD

That's why I used Bulbapedia. It summed up their personalities to make it easier to compare them to personalities of whatever you feel like and tells you what they generally are like, not what YOU think they are like. It also makes me seem smarter and more knowledgeable of Pokemon. I like seeming smarter than other people for no real reason.

And I don't like admitting I'm wrong or when people put on a smartass attitude when they are right and know it. I have an obsession with being right about everything and getting things perfect. If I'm wrong then I won't often say it, I usually feel that hating myself for being stupid is more than enough (I am a bit prideful, it just doesn't often show because I try my best to research things so I'm not wrong before I say it).

Though it is obvious when my pride is hurt because I feel depressed and act the opposite of normal such as being rather antisocial, snapping at people for the stupidest reasons, and getting really really really irritated when anyone except Darkie tries to tell me I'm not stupid like I think I am. XP
