Can't say I really blame you for feeling like that if I'm honest, it does suck rather majorly when people act interrupt/ignore you, but hey, you've just gotta roll with it sometimes. Hehe, you've just reminded me that I've not played FFX in absolutely ages (seriously, it took me like ten minutes to remember Tidus' name o.0 ). Damn it, I really need to get that back from my cousin, as well as my PS2...

Glad I reminded you of the awesomeness of FFX. Even if everyone seems to hate FFX-2, I will always like it more though just because I love the more self-confident Yuna with guns and she has a MOOGLE costume. 8D

Oh, and i did consider pokemon like Misdriavus, Banette, Spiritomb and Sneasel for Christina, but i found that they were way to dark for her (seeing as she's not truly heartless deep down C:). So Sableye it was.

@Arc - Well, Pika can only switch with Fallen if she can participate later. So we'll just have to see how it'll go.
And about not liking Lucario, i've never really seen the movie nor do i really use him in the games...i actually decided upon Lucario by using the randomizer and comparing the traits (as stated on bulbapedia |D) to Chris'.
I suggest, though, not to have spikes in your hands. After all, you don't want to impale your Loyal shaking hands with them, do you? Nevertheless, i totally support looking like Shikamaru. Jussayin.
As for the extent of Chris' powers, i would say it's up to you but i'll also say that any powers that a Subject receives from injection will be watered down. So in the case of the vision, i would think that Chris would retain his 'human eyes', but would also be able to detect and possibly see aura (though not to the extent Lucario does).

Oh. Ok. So now that the list of pokemon is up, also tell me which pokemon you will be choosing as soon as possible. Obviously, it's also a first-come-first-serve basis when it comes to picking your DNA.

Age-15

Subject appearance; Felix has black hair down to his ears and bright blue eyes. He is 5'8" and is 130lbs. He has a light tan for he sits inside all day training his mind, but sometimes goes outside to bask in nature only when nobody is watching him or hang out with Chelsea. He likes to wear his blue sneakers all the time with his orange jeans and light orange long-sleeve shirt.

Gijinka appearance; Elgyem Felix light blue hair that is short and bright sea foam green eyes. he is 5'3" 108lbs. He has pale blue skin. Felix has green, yellow, and red fingers (thumb and index- green, middle- red, ring and pinky- yellow). He has a a black line going from each eye down to his cheeks. Also he has one black line in the middle of his face that branches out into 2 lines ending at his hairline. The two lines branching out to create a "V" shape. Felix has a short tail.

Felix now wears a Pale grey jacket with pale light blue jeans. He cut a hole in his jeans for his short tail to fit. He now has a rather large head that before. he eyes are always shining like as if they are gems or jewels. He is now shorter than before because the DNA infused with him is a short pokemon. He also weighs less because the Pokemon is light.

Felix has slight telekinesis and can float for up to ten minutes, but passes out to rest his mind. He has little muscle because he likes to float a lot. He can move small things with his mind but that is it. Felix can cause people headaches now when tries to bore people knowledge(Elgyem can do this, look it up if you want). felix looks like an alien because of his large head. He has impressions on the side of his head. The impressions look like a rock was thrown at his head but are smooth compared to a
jagged rock.
Personality; He is a loner and doesn't have many friends. He likes to try and be happy and is extremely emotional, because he will have flashbacks of his old friends and remember what became of Kat and Chelsea, and fall into a state of sadness that can not be broken unless Chelsea is there. He likes to train his mind...more like exercise it to point of break. He works better with others because of encouragement but faults when discouraged. The happier he gets the harder he works. When he hits an emotional road block, when all hope seems lost or he has been in a bad mood all day, he squirms through with happiness and sadness. He has always been the gentle type and never liked hand to hand combat. He prefers to bore people with random knowledge until people think he is a weirdo and leave. He loves to share his knowledge to all but will keep to himself because he is shy and quiet and dislikes to stand out which is kind of conflicting.

He challenges his mind by doing math and science projects assigned by himself. Felix has shared his hopes and dream with no one except Chelsea. She is his closest friend and always will be. (my love life lol)

Felix likes to keep to himself, some even say secretive. He will only open up to Chels(Chelsea). He has been a loner ever since his trio of girls friends, split. He likes to stay away from others and dislikes people he doesn't know. Felix will never pull the first move, but waits for others to come to him. He never tries to make friends, instead people go to him because he looks scared or shy. He will only be his real self when with Chels. He can be fun and outgoing, but those characteristics don't seem to apply to life according to him. He never liked standing out, but his personality made him. Felix wanted to change, but never wanted to leave Chels behind.

Background; Felix as a child had very little friends. His only friends were girls because they were they only ones who would accept him. His best friends were Katie(Kat), Carolyn, and Chelsea. They were his most cherished friends. Kat was his most favorite and he had a crush on her, but she moved away because her parents wanted her to live up to the family name and had her go to a boarding school. Carolyn turned into a bad egg and stole many things but never got caught. Carolyn eventually got caught and went to Juvenile Detention. Chelsea remained his best friend. The two stuck together like like glue, and many thought they were dating but they are just the best of friends. Felix was having a bad day because he got into a fight with Chelsea and decided today he would change and conform to society. He had heard about a place where he could change himself literally and would be less distinguishable. He liked to be the odd man out so he wore bright colors to show his individuality, but now will try to hide instead of stand out. The doctors seemed to know what they were doing and he never doubted them for a second. They were wrong, he wouldn't hide under the radar, not by a long shot.

Runiiiiiiiiiiiii, now I'm confused. Do Gijinkas gain powers or not? In your last post, you clearly mentioned that any power a Gijinka would get would be watered down, but in the first post, under terms, it says that Morphs get watered down powers while there is no mention of Gijinkas gaining powers in their section, only pokémon features such as horns and tails.

So, do they gain powers or not?

Okies this took a while to put up only because of my current medical issues. DX So if I lack posting its because complications in my health have not gone away completely >: I tried to make a mini list for each character because there’s no true Pokemon that seems to fit for anyone.

Maria Everheart: Skitty, Togetic, Pikachu, Mime Jr. I just went and listed Pokemon that immediately came up in my mind. All three of these Pokemon are focused on the happiness of others and I find them to be very outgoing. However, they all have a silent streak to them. They call all lay back and just enjoy quiet when necessary. Togetic seemed most suiting even though Mime Jr. was first to pop into my head XD

Chris: Herdier, Octillery, Dewott, Grovyle. Chris was a little harder to figure out. I really liked the level headed-ness but for some reason there’s a lack of Pokemon in this general trait. Grass and Water Pokemon really stood out which is why I chose Grovyle and Dewott. However, Herdier was the first to come to mind. He seems like a lazy dog in some ways. Dogs can be impulsive and quick to anger but they are generally can rationalize what their next move is. The protective trait made me lean towards Herdier as well.

Felix: Deerling, Cubone, Charmander and Spinda. Felix is…rather unstable in my mind. His personality seems to be very all over the place. From loneliness to sudden bouts of happiness I chose Pokemon that were a little off kilter. Deerling stood out the most simply because Felix seems seasonal. Charmander was chosen for the lonely personality. Charmanders, even though in Pokemon Snap travelled in packs, seem very lonerish in my eyes. They grow up unsure of themselves. Cubone was chosen because they are the easily discouraged type of Pokemon, same with being lonely. Spinda was chosen for the lack of stability in the personality. Made him confusing.

Jax: Litwick, Banette, Cubchoo, Zubat. Honestly, not an easy character to pick Pokemon for. I tried to pick up certain traits but it was significantly lacking in that department. Therefore I kind of went and picked the general theme or vibe that was felt from what I read. Litwick, Banette and Zubat all reflect this “lost from the light” theme. All these Pokemon seem lost, striving for a light that they’ll never find, especially Zubat because its eyeless. Cubchoo was to reflect the loss of personality after losing his friends. He seemed like he’d be a cute person but his heart was turned cold and now he’s just a frigid polar bear.

Juliet: Whismur, Sentret, Sandshrew and Roselia. Whismur was the first Pokemon to pop into my head and I do believe best suited for the personality at hand. Cute but so shy! The whole talking to herself also made me point to Whismur since it seems like the Pokemon to do so. Low whispers to try to get it to stay calm but immediately freak out when it hears other noises. Sentret, Sandshrew and Roselia all seem like Pokemon that would hide away to me. They are just alternatives to the Pokemon that I felt fit the best.

Christina: Seviper, Mightyena, Gyrados, Rhyhorn. Scary personality calls for scary Pokemon. Immediately I was reminded of the quick to anger Gyrados. Her anger seems unstoppable if she goes to the length of killing people. However, the sadistic/masochist traits called for more dark Pokemon. Even though Christina’s rage is very one-track minded, like a Rhyhorn, Seviper has that sadistic trait that Snakes seem to carry when roleplayed out. They can also have focused minds which made me lean this way as a first choice. Mightyena was just a last option of sorts because it does fit the traits well, being a dark wolf and all, it was ‘fluffiness can be deadly’ type of irony.

Arsen: Ivysaur, Breloom, Purugly, Girafarig. Arsen’s personality was easy to pick Pokemon actually. It was in depth so it was easier to weed out Pokemon that wouldn’t be it. The one that stood out the most to me was Girafarig simply because Arsen seems conflicted in personality. He’s laid back but seems to have this other side to him that can only represent another mind in the body. This is where the other half of Girafarig comes in. Purugly, Ivysaur and Breloom reflected other traits such as perfectionist, obliviousness and force. Girafarig would be my number one choice, followed by Breloom.

UM OK TO CLARIFY (totally winging this as i go along)

Morphs have watered down powers. But can't speak.
Gijinkas have Pokemon features. Um, i'll say that instead of like gaining stamina and strength (unless the pokemon is known for that) like morphs do, they gain abilities. But only a few.
So for example. Chris, should he be a Lucario, would have he ability to see Aura. But he wouldn't be throwing around watered down Aura Spheres or anything.
Likewise, um...a Mightyena Gijinka would get like...better smell.

Sorry for the confusion. I'l clarify this in the first post.

@Fuji - Um, which Pokemon are you? And that appearance, if i were to accept it, would need a lot more detail. Two more paragraphs, for starters...
And i think by general consensus, i'm going to have to ask you to remove the telekinesis part. I'm really sorry (eep i seem to apologize a lot...) for not asking you to do this later. Additionally, the 15% of brain use part should also be removed, to keep it safe i guess...

And my medical issue can't really be rested for so I just get to sit and wait it out. I get tired more easily and my diet needs a revamp D| But if the problems grow increasingly worse I'll have to stay offline till I'm 'fixed'.

And ffff not liking most of my choices. The only two appealing choices were Mareep and Absol only because I don't have hybrids of those Pokemon yet XD I have a Clefairy hybrid so I'm craving something new. Chansey seemed way too happy for Syl.

Just returned from work and saw the suggestions for my Gijinka....

I disagree with Maria being like a Munchlax for two reasons:

1. Munchlaxes are what I consider to be gluttonous Pokemon. In other words, they love to eat. Maria only has a sweet tooth; she's not a glutton.

2. It just doesn't suit her personality very well, I don't think.

I want to instead be a Pikachu, but if someone else has that suggestion and becomes a Pikachu gijinka, then I'll choose Plusle.

Fuji - From what I understand, no one really had a problem with your character being a psychic type, his personality fitted that perfectly, it's just telekinesis/15% of his brain side of things that got people a little confused/agitated, that's all. As Sam said, it's all either just myths, or doesn't make sense. Now that your character is confirmed to be a psychic-type Gijinka though, I don't think having some degree of telekinesis would be too much of a problem, providing Runi approves of it, of course.

Everyone - Right then, I've decided, Lucario it is for Chris. I went ahead and typed up his Gijinka appearance section, which I'll post here as well as edit into his profile on page wherever-the-hell-his-profile-is. Please let me know if I've changed Chris a bit too much for your liking Runi, I'll quite happily remove the strength/dexterity/both alterations if you feel he shouldn't really have them.

Now standing at an exact 6’0’’, weighing a good ten more pounds than before due to various simple, and other not so simple morphological changes to his body, it would be fair to say that Chris’ ‘new’ body is quite a bit more imposing than it was in it’s old, regular human state. His physique has been a little ‘buffed’, not to the extent that his muscles bulge out from under regularly fitting clothing, just enough to make their presence that little bit more noticeable. While this is enough for him to feel that he is just that little bit stronger physically, which he is, he’s hardly able to punch through brick walls. To put things into perspective, while before the procedure if he, say, punched someone’s jaw, chances are the person would simply just be in pain for quite a while, however now, there’s a fair risk of said person’s jaw being dislocated.

There’s also the matter of Chris’ stamina seeming to be just that little bit higher than it was previously, though this doesn’t seem to have altered his sleeping pattern. Things that would usually require him to take a few seconds to catch his breath, such as playing some of the exceptionally long songs he has taken the time to learn, now seem to not strain him anywhere near as much as they used to. Yes, he’ll most certainly be able to feel the effects one would expect from such a feat, but nowhere near to the extent that he used to.

In all honesty though, the most noticeable change for him in this regard has come in the form of dexterity. For some strange reason, his motor skills seem to have improved noticeably from what they were, his body seeming to feel just that bit more… responsive, for lack of a better word. Again, this doesn’t seem to be too big of a change, but it is indeed noticeable to the teen. Essentially, this means that biggest obstacle for Chris to overcome when learning to play something on his guitar (if he ever gets the chance again) will almost definitely actually be learning the notes to the song itself, rather than the actual playing of the song itself. These are pretty much all of the changes Chris’ remaining human body has undergone for the most part, the general ‘human’ part of his body is unchanged to that before the procedures.

As far the ‘less human’ alterations Chris has undergone are concerned, however, that’s when the changes really start to stand out. For example, his hair colour is completely different from it’s initial natural brown, the roots of which now being pitch black while the colour tends towards a relatively light blue towards the tips, the colour of his hair changing with what appears to be a consistent gradient. However, despite this colour change, it still retains it’s natural style, thickness and length.

Most likely the first noticeable change from Chris’ front, other than the aforementioned hair colour change would be the pair of Lucario-like ears in place of Chris’ old pair, the fur (which is much thicker than his human hair) on the outside being blue while the inside is black, the shades of which being identical to his newly coloured cranial hair. Unlike the Pokémon, it is worth noting that these ears don’t actually point vertically at all times, their resting position is actually tilted a good 40 degrees back from this position, only when Chris is alerted by a noise will these ears perk up. While it is true that these ears do have a better pitch range than Chris’ previous ones, they aren’t ultra sensitive. In other words, while he can pick up the painful pitch of a dog whistle, he can’t be expected to hear anything out of his previous volume range.

When viewed from the side or back however, the first thing anyone will likely notice is Chris’ newly acquired tail. Again, much like his ears, the tail very much resembles that of a Lucario’s, but is a good half a foot longer to maintain the same proportion the Pokémon has between it’s tail length and it’s body. Despite being very much a part of his body, Chris has next to no control over his tail. While it may well react to his state of mind, such as stiffening upon being surprised, he cannot simply move the tail as he would a limb. Another noteworthy change is the fact that Chris' hands both have large, metallic spikes extending from the backs of his hands. Both this spikes are identical, a good inch and a half in diamter, and extend nearly three inches from his hand. They both remain ridiculously sharp no matter what action Chris tries to take to dull them, and are to Chris' knowledge completely indestructible. Fortunately, since they are on the backs of his hands they don't really cause too much hassle, though it goes without saying that they do have their rather impractical moments, such as when he rolls over in his sleep and catches his face.

There are quite a few more subtle changes that have also occurred since the procedure, though the word subtle may very well not be the most accurate word to use. For example, there is the matter that Chris’ eye no longer have brown iris’, but rather posses a rather deep, blood red colour. While it’s not the most drastic colour change, the colour that the eyes have changed to is in fact rather striking, though chances are most people will be drawn to the colour of Chris’ hair rather than his eyes.

As well as the physical changes to his eyes, there’s also the matter that Chris’ vision has undergone quite an alarming change, alarming to him anyway. He’s nowhere near managing to control this ability, his mastery of the ability being explained pretty well by the fact that it seems to simply randomly activate and deactivate, but he seems to be able to actually see what he can only describe as faint, coloured clouds of energy swirling around people. Clearly, this is something akin to that to Lucario and Riolu’s ability to sense Aura, but that is about all that is clear to Chris at the moment.

I'll get around to posting in the actual RP too a little later, but for now, I think I'll go eat and let my brain rest a little.

@Fuji - As i already said, i'm no good at being a cold-hearted bitch. And i also don't like being persistent or rude or alskdfjlskdfjsldkf yeah.
But i would really really really like it if you removed that 15% of your brain part and telekinesis from your personality, as Arc mentioned. I have no problem with you gaining slight telekinetic powers from your pokemon, but that would go in the Appearance (weirdly enough).
And moar detail plox. Look at like...Arc for example (becauseit'stheonlyoneup)

@Noxi - asldkfjlsdkjf I wasn't really thinking of a pokemon for Arsen as i made him, so i kind of just went with the flow for his character.

Here's my updated appearance:

Gijinka appearance; She is now 5” 7’ tall, having only gained a few inches from the transformation, and weighs 140 lbs. Her eye color has changed from a deep ocean blue to a hazelnut brown and her hair color is a bright yellow with long, black-tipped ears protruding from the top of her head. Because of the changes in her body, Maria’s skin is now a bit yellowish. Red circles adorn her cheeks and two brown stripes cover her back. Her birthmark is still visible, but Maria still keeps a band-aid over it because, again, it is often mistaken for a tattoo.
To finish off the physical changes, she now has a lightning bolt-shaped tail. One out of a couple abilities she possesses is acute hearing. Because of her heightened hearing, Maria’s new ears will perk up if she hears loud sounds like a twig snapping nearby or a bird singing in a tree for example. Her other ability is being able to spark electricity every now and then. Being an electric type gijinka, but unable to use electric attacks causes the sparks to happen so that the electricity doesn’t build up so much that it overwhelms her.

Also, I wasn't sure about wanting to do this or not, but I'll make suggestions to what Pokemon others might be.

Syl- Whismur because of the fear of loud noises and Eevee because they seem shy and are, I think, like affectionate housepets. I'm not sure. This is to the best of my memory on Pokemon.

Christina- Houndoom because of aggressiveness, Sneasel (not sure why but the 'sudden movements' kind of made me think of that), Smeargle fits her artistic side but that's it, and Scyther (kind of the same reason as the Sneasel). *shrugs* Again I'm unsure.

Arsen- Gengar because of his willingness to tease others... and that's about it...

The others are too hard to figure out. I'd name more Pokemon as well, but it's harder than I thought!
