Personality; Luke is a quiet individual, usually preferring to stick his nose in a book rather than stick his nose in a group. Over the past few years, he has started to become more group-oriented, but still mainly reads or otherwise.
He mainly gets straight A's at school, and as such, is constantly bullied by older kids. Due to this, he constantly has bruises somewhere on his body, and doesn't really trust anyone.
When Luke is alone, he tends to either read one of the many books he has, or do whatever he needs to, whether he's been told to or not. If he's with others, he'll most likely be quiet, and not attempt to join the conversation at all. If he's with someone he's bonded with, he'll open up a bit more, and have actual conversations with them.

Background; Luke found an ad for being a subject (not that he knew it at that stage) on his way home from school. He spent the next few days thinking about this, and finally, instead of returning home from school, he went to where the people from the labs said thy would meet in the ad. The scientists picked him up (he was the only person there) and took him to the labs, where he now waits for the experiment. (Ohgodsorryimbadatwritinghistroiesevensmallones)

Appearance; Has chestnut brown hair and startling green eyes. His bangs reach the middle of his forehead with his hair covering the back of his neck. He stands at 5 foot 4 and weighs barely 100 pounds. He has a frail appearance, so he’s definetly not intimidating by looks. He also has pale skin.

He wears a blue T-shirt, and a pair of black shorts. His shirt is almost always spotless and neatly pressed. If there’s ever a speck of dirt or food, he changes it quickly. Same goes for his shorts. He wears a black jacket when he goes outside if it’s cold enough for one.

He wears black shoes that have white rubber underneath them, with white swirls on the actual shoe. He wears a gold locket with a pictures of his mom and dad inside. Engraved on the front of the locket are his initials, T.J.

Personality; Timmy is a pretty controlling kid with other people. He hates when things don’t go his way, and hates when people tell him off or something. Normally when is he told off or doesn’t get his way he goes in to tantrums and breaks things of value or something. He normally is not told off, however, because of his uncle.
He enjoys watching others do what he tells them and his bidding, as he hates lifting a finger or working hard to do anything. He likes Pokemon for company, as generally they do whatever he tells them without a second thought and they don’t talk back. He treats them kinder than humans however.

When alone, Timmy is a rather depressed boy. He often mopes about his parents and his life, and is rather willing to be kind. In secrecy sometimes, if a person he doesn’t know and the person doesn’t know him, he’ll help them out if they need money or something of the sorts. But he makes sure no one’s around that knows him.

He rather enjoys playing basketball, though he rarely ever plays because it includes getting dirty at least somewhat. He hates looking disheveled or dirty, even being sweaty annoys him. If it weren't for his uncle's money and social status he would be the kid that everyone picked on.

However, he doesn't care what people think about him. They can call him a brat and a jerk as much as they want, but he doesn't care. If they can't like him for who he is, than that's there problem in his eyes. He does overhear what the other kids say about him though, and it does make him feel a little bad, but in an hour or two he'll forget about or ignore it.

Background; Timmy was born in Nacrene City, where he lived until he was about seven. When he was seven, one night his house caught on fire. Something happened and they were all trapped inside, but the firefighters arrived early enough to save him, though his parents died.

Ever since that night, he has been scarred. In dreams he still hears his parents’ screams sometimes. Anyway, the next week consisted of the wake and funeral blah blah blah, and ended with Timmy moving to his Aunt and Uncle’s place in Castelia City.

His uncle is a very, VERY rich man. Therefor Timmy has been spoiled and has gone to the dark side in feeling that he can control the whole world with money. He’s been bought name brand clothes, and any game or bought in to any school he wants to go to. Thus, he’s achieved that snotty rich kid personality.

When he first heard about the Gijinkas, he instantly wanted one. He complained and complained to his uncle, who for once refused to get him one, claiming it would cost too much to feed and take care of. Timmy went on a temper tantrum and broke many expensive things, until his uncle decided to finally get him one, but gave it to him for his 13th birthday, which was four months ago.

Gender; Male
Age; 16

Subject appearance; Jax stands at 5’7” and weighs around 120 pounds. He has slightly tanned skin and a mop of raven black hair. His hair goes to his jaw-line, with it covering the back of his head and his bangs going to his eyebrows. His eyes are a brilliantly bright blue. He has an athletic frame, as he’s generally pretty active. He’s fit, but not bodybuilder fit. He’s always carrying around his black IPod if possible, normally ignoring people when they’re in. He generally wears dark winter clothing, and anything like earphones or headphones.
Gijinka appearance;

Personality; Since as long as people could remember Jax had always been the happy, go-lucky kid who threw himself out there. He always cracked the jokes in classes at school, always played the pranks, and always got in to trouble. His grades were mediocre, but he never seemed to care as long as he got by. He always had a smile plastered on to his face, but if he didn’t everyone knew something was wrong.

Even though he suffered from his parents beating him, he never let it get to him when he was around people. He always wore jackets, hoodies, pants, beanies, and things of the sort to hide the bruises and cuts, even in the dead of summer. He had two best friends, Samantha (Sam) and Zack. The three were inseperable, and you hardly ever saw one of them alone. Generally you saw all three together.

Anyway, Jax was one of the happiest kids ever. After Sam was diagnosed with cancer, Jax was less enthusiastic, but not too much. It wasn’t until after Sam actually died that he changed. Jax hardly ever joked around or laughed or smiled. He entered a deep depression, as did Zack. However Zack got over it eventually. The two still hung out together, but it was never the same.

After a year of dealing with Jax, Zack got sick of it and declared that he didn’t want anything to do with Jax anymore. It killed Jax, losing both of his best friends in less than two years. He grew even more depressed until he finally just canceled everybody else out and grew solitary.

Now, Jax ignores everybody and anybody. If they try to talk to him he gets agitated easily and will eventually take physical action. He doesn’t seem to really like anything, though he does spend a lot of time playing soccer and football, the only things he can do with a clear mind and not think about anything. He’s a natural athlete, and is pretty good in basketball and baseball too.

He dislikes pretty much anything that reminds him of Sam or Zack, and hates his parents. He vows to either kill them if he gets the chance, or to just run away eventually one day and leave them to rot.

Background; He was born and lived in Driftveil City, Sam and Zack being his only friends. He was beat on an almost constant basis, though he never told anyone, not even Zack or Sam. Sam was diagnosed with cancer when he was twelve, and died when he was fourteen. Zack stopped being his friend when he was fifteen, and ever since he’s hated people.

He surfed the internet all the time, and was always looking for a way to forget everything, and started getting in to drugs. He got high almost every day, because forgetting everything was only temporary. One day when he was on the internet, he saw an ad for subjects and immediately wanted to be one, hoping it would give him a way from his parents forever.

@Fuji - Let me address each character specifically, if you will. Felix; firstly, i would like a lot more detail for his personality, at least another paragraph and a half. In what sense is he extremely emotional? Does he have a lot of mood swings or is it something else? How does he train his mind? There are a lot of typos/incomeplete sentences, which i believe is an end result of typing too fast, so i don't really understand some sentences. What does Felix consider to be an emotional road block, and how exactly does one squirm by one with happiness and sadness? His background is...acceptable, i guess. But does he have a childhood? A family? Oh, and a few more questions; how exactly does one develop a tan from staying inside and how can you have everything planned out for your gijinka if you don't know what pokemon you will be given?

Oops. Sorry. A little off topic. I'm not trying to be mean here, but there are a lot of holes in your profile that could easily be remedied, and i guess i'm only trying to help (:

Um. Anyways, onto Kiki - I would definitely need more from the appearance before accepting her. At least 2-3 paragraphs, as i believe was specified on the form. The personality needs more depth as well; what is she like alone, with friends, does she have any quirks, etc. The background is all right, but please edit it because there are quite a few mistakes.

I also never said that setting your Morph/Gijinka free was a crime but i guess it is now /shrug.
So please touch up on all of those things before i can accept you. Thank you though for applying (:

@Blaz - I know you're not done (and i'll let the really short appearance go this time, as long as you make it up to me somehow!), but you're personality is, as i have said with other people, lacking. I would lovelovelove to see more depth because i can't really gather anything about him other than the fact that he's semi-anti social and likes to read. Backround is decent, but if there's anything special (mention his family! He sounds like an orphan ;D), please write that in.

...But by all means, please finish your sign up first before i yell at you like a bitch why i ask you to elaborate more.

Timmy - Just be aware that he's borderline underweight (in an unhealthy way) and that's if you round his weight up and assume that he just turned 13. As for personality, i know that you, through experience, have the capability of expanding more, so i would need to see that here before accepting him. His backstory is fine, but in your last sentence his father is alive? .______.
Jax - His personality is more like his backstory but mehh, i'm lazy tonight (and tired from these stupidstupidstupid fake nails) so i'll let it slide. Just in the future, put in more 8D

To be completely honest, my Gijinka is halfway done (I stopped halfway through a sentence too) and my Loyal is barely started. XD

My Gijinka will be finished by the end of tomorrow at the very least.

They should be finished completely in a few days though and I'll post them both then. I do have them both mostly planned out in my head though (histories come to me suddenly and can never be completely planned out). XP

@Fuji - I will look at your edits within the next 24 hours. I'm very sorry for the wait but I would appreciate your patience.

Alright. So it has come to my attention (a while ago, actually) that we need to get this show on the road before it putters to a halt. Which is why I'm giving everybody this final statement.

2 days or no Pokemon DNA. (why yes the rhyme was intentional.)

It is now like 1 in the morning my time, which is server time. To everybody who does not have their forms done by tomorrow night by this time (myself included), the deliverance of the Pokemon DNA will be given out without you. This RP WILL start and the first post WILL be up by Tuesday, regardless of whether everybody has finished their character or not.

When everybody recieved their Pokemon DNA on Monday night, they will have until Wednesday night/Thursday morning to type out their Gijinka appearence. This is just a heads up.

So that means that everyone who has posted their profiles, get your writing muscles ready. We're gonna roll.

Wow, I must really be going blind if it took so long for this little gem to catch my attention. Especially considering how many familiar faces are here. (Hiya, Arcy! And hello to you too, Sam and Darkrow. ) Guess that's what I get for mostly ignoring the rp boards recently. Ehehe...

Anyway, to the point of this post. I see that everyone's raring to get this rp started, but is it at all possible for me to still join? I have a couple of pre-existing characters that I could easily use for this; all I'd have to do is tweak their backgrounds (and 'normalize' the appearance, in one case) so they fit into your story, Runi. So, umm... Yeah... May I please join? I'd love the chance to let a certain ornery gijinka of mine stretch her legs for a bit.

EDIT: Oh, and Arcy? Don't think I've forgotten about you and Dray, because I certainly haven't. I just saw this while checking out the rp boards, and now my muse won't leave me alone. If it helps any, I have cookies my Loyal should be vaguely familiar to you even though you've never actually met her. lol

I read through some of them too, but I'm not nearly confidant enough in my knowledge of the other characters to hazard a guess. That said, I have a very strong hunch regarding my own Subject's potential gijinka species - if I'm allowed to join and she is accepted, that is. (Said character should also be familiar to you, and to Sam and Darkrow as well.)

Oh wow, it's starting to feel like a bit of a reunion's going on here, coincidentally the day after my college (or high school, to those the other side of that pond known as the Atlantic) reuinion night out...

Don't worry, I'd assumed that you hadn't forgotten. To be perfectly honest, I'm still in the process of refining the plot for that anywho, well, sort of. While I already have the plot figure out and written down, I'm trying to figure out just how much of it I can give away in the OOC, without giving away the whole of it, while still giving people a rough idea of what's going on, so that they know whether they'll enjoy the RP or not. It's all a big balancing act, and currently I feel like I'm trying to balance on a thread of hair

EDIT: Oh, and Runi, deadline duly noted. Time to go hunting for that thinking cap again...

Meh, I'm not so sure. Coming up with more elabourate plots isn't really something I find that I'm particularly good at. I'm allright at the coming up with an idea side of things, or building up on someone else's, but building a full plot from the ground up isn't quite my forté.

To be honest, I quite like deadlines. For me, they provide much more motivation than they do anxiety, and you get to amuse yourself by watching people trying to reach the deadline on the last minute since they've left their work 'till then (providing you haven't done that yourself too, of course...).

I'm sure Runi will let you join, what with Blazikid leaving the RP and everything. Personally, I reckon you should probably just post your profiles here when you've finished them whether she replies back to you before then or not, which I'm sure she wouldn't mind. That way, if she does accept you, she can just give your profiles a read through and be done with it, rather than you have to wait for her to post before you can. Anyway, In the unlikely situation that she doesn't accept you, it's not like you posting your profiles is going to have a massively negative effect on the RP or anything *shrug*.

Name [Nickname if applicable]; Juliet Daniels
Gender; Female
Age; 18

Subject appearance; A frail girl who stands at 5'8", Juliet has long blonde hair that she tucks under her white bunny hat so it looks like it is very short. She has next to no curves, which makes her unremarkable silhouette-wise. She has baby blue eyes and a cute little nose as well. She's thin, thin enough for her ribs to be visible when she stretches.

She wears a white shirt with long sleeves and a short pale blue skirt. The sleeves are too long for her, so her small, delicate hands are rarely seen. She wears a small necklace of a ship's steering wheel at all times and has long white earrings as well. She wears white sneakers with knee-high socks of the same color.

Gijinka appearance; Kaboom, this is empty.

Personality; A word that would describe Juliet perfectly is "shy". Yes, Juliet is shy. Very shy. Extremely shy. She blushes when someone stares at her, no matter the reason. She freezes when she has to be social with someone and if she even manages to utter a word, she will stutter madly in a vain attempt to pronounce it correctly. She has trouble looking at someone in the eyes for more than a few seconds and, as you may have guessed, she has very, very low self-esteem. She, in fact, finds her shyness irritating and gets frustrated (usually in an adorable manner, such as tugging on her hat's ears, making it cover her eyes) when she can't say what she wants to say.

As long as there is someone near her, Juliet will be nervous and easily startled by simple things, such as someone speaking to her. She jumps to the worse conclusions in settings similar to that. For example, someone behind her who talks to her will be a serial killer in her mind until it either registers the voice as being from someone nice or she turns around to see who spoke. She often feels like an idiot when she realises that there's actually no danger, which leads to small whimpers and ear tugs out of frustration.

When she's alone though, she tends to talk to herself to calm down, usually without a single stutter. She beats herself over simple mistakes and is somewhat of a crybaby as well, but she's a genuinely good person. She's probably the best friend someone can have, in fact. She puts herself before others. She even has trouble being mean with people she hates, but then again she never stands up for herself, seeing as how she's extremely submissive and easily scared.

Background; Juliet was born in a rather poor family in Pyrite, Orre. Her parents were good-willed adults who tried their best to live a bit decently, but to no avail. Her father, eventually growing annoyed and even angered with the constant misery that had fallen on his family, decided to join the thugs which made the town famous as an attempt to keep Juliet and her mother alive. When Juliet was four though, he was caught when he stole the hat her daughter wanted (the one she wears even today) and arrested only to die a year later due to the poor conditions of his cell. As a result, Juliet lost her best friend and her father figure in one fell swoop. Furthermore, her mother spiraled down into depression when the prison refused to help them cope with his loss.

Her mother became alcoholic to deal with the loss of her precious husband. Her sorrow and anger at the police was evacuated... by beating Juliet. The young girl didn't understand why she did that, but as she grew older she eventually understood that her mother was genuinely sorry for doing that and that she couldn't control herself. Juliet, wanting to help her, resorted to go outside and ask for money from the tourists who came for the Colosseum. This, of course, had little success.

It was only when she reached 10 that she became interested in pokémon. When her mother was drunk, she went to see the battles in the Colosseum, sneaking in thanks to a hole in the side. Sure, there was the Duel Square, but the people there scared her and were violent. One even stole the money she had gotten from a generous tourist! She loved watching the rich people use their pokémon to fight and it was genuinely entertaining.

This routine didn't change until she turned 18. She saw an ad on Duking's House and brought it back home to her mom to see if it was worth it, since it said there was a lot of money to be won in a faraway city. It involved taking care of pokémon for contests and Juliet knew she'd be good at it and she'd be able to see pokémon from up close. Her mother was reluctant, but when Juliet said she'd use the money for her mother's treatment to try and "cure" her alcoholism, she gave in.

With that, Juliet said her goodbyes and quickly went to Gateon Port, destination: Castelia City!

But it was too good to be true...
