The topic is officially up, let's begin!
Few of you were here for this old one but this was probably one of my favorite personal creations. Click here for the OOC/Discussion thread. I loved the idea but it never saw light. I'm really in the mood for a Pokemon roleplay, even though most people I RPed with back in my Moderating days are gone now. So i figured I'd revive this one and see if anyone gains interest. Now for the fun stuff. QUOTE(Backstory) You couldn't believe your eyes when that special letter came in the mail. Marked with the Trainer Mountain sigil, you knew it was special. Turns out that they were having a tournament, and YOU were invited! Obviously they saw something in you as a battler. Inside the envelope was your invitation letter, which also served as your ticket to both the island where the mountain was located and the ticket to the tournament; your cabin assignment and key for the cabin; and a schedule of events for the tournament. Quickly you packed your things and headed out to the nearest shipyard. You gathered a team of your six best Pokemon. This wasn't the Gym Leader, or even the Pokemon League challenge. This was the best. You were part of the creme de la creme of the Pokemon world. And now was your chance to prove it. The Trainer Mountain challenge consists of an initial tournament of the 50 trainers invited. Each trainer will be in a set number of battles to determine their skill. The best ten will be given a chance to climb Trainer Mountain and battle the Lords and each other. Only one person can battle the Trainer King, who is the leader of the Lords and considered the best trainer in the world. QUOTE(The Island) The island itself is located between the waters of all four regions. It is generally a tropical island and is a popular vacation spot. It is a medium-sized island, with the mountain itself being on the eastern side of the island. The northern and western sides of the island are the ports, where boats from all four regions dock and let off passengers. The southern side of the island is the resort area, for vacationers. Most of these people are extremely wealthy. The trainers themselves who challenge the Trainer Mountain Challenge reside at the foot of the mountain. In this large city, there are three Pokemon Centers that are always busy, two Pokemon Marts, and five small stadiums where the pre-mountain tournament battles are held. These stadiums are capable of changing their environment within six hours, and each stadium always has a different battling environment. In the center of the city is where the trainers reside. They live in small, two-bedroom cabins that contain a kitchen, large sitting area, and a full bathroom. There are about 75 of these cabins, numbered beginning with 1000. Each trainer has received their cabin assignment and key before coming to the island. The mountain itself is massive, standing at about 20,000 feet high. At the snowy peak resides powerful Ice Pokemon. Trainers who are lucky enough to climb the mountain will begin at the base and enter the cave there. They will climb the inside of the mountain, battling each other and the Lords of Trainer Mountain. The Lords appear in order from first to last, with the Trainer King at the top. QUOTE(Rules) -All forum rules apply here. -Proper spelling/grammar is a must. I recommend a word processor before posting. -You're only allowed one character. -Control of other characters is not allowed. The only exception is in conversation when two characters are talking. Remember it must adhere to that character's personality. Also, you may RP a character to another location if you are headed elsewhere. -Profiles must be adhered to. Your quiet, reserved character isn't going to be chatting everyone up. -No Pokemon will be caught. What you have is what you have. There's no wild Pokemon on the island or mountain. -You are not the Jesus Christ of Pokemon. You will not OHKO every opponent and you will not win every battle. Your Pokemon will also not dodge everything that comes their way. They will get hurt, and they will faint. -Also, this is not the Anime. Pikachu will not defeat Rhydon by Thunderbolting the horn, and it will not lose to Magikarp either. -I request that all player-player battles are done via IRC/IM/PM so as not to clutter the topic up. If this is not possible that is fine. -Only one of you needs to post a player-player battle if it's done via IRC/IM/PM. -All posts must be at least five sentences long and have some structure to them. The only exception to this rule is during battles where you may only be able to post a few sentences in order to wait for the other trainer. -The Lords of Trainer Mountain, as they are known, will not be battled until later in the roleplay, after the initial tournament. Nobody will be battling them until the mountain climb begins. -You're a good trainer. You've probably beaten at least one Pokemon League and you've taken many Gym Leader challenges. So don't stumble on the island and win everything. -There is a three-strike policy. If you break the rules of the roleplay three times, you will be banned from the roleplay and your character will no longer be involved. There's a lot of rules but it's for the good of the RP. I only want people that know what they're doing here. Sign-ups are CLOSED. The roleplay will start when I feel we have enough people. I'm not sure how many people I want to enter, but I will close sign-ups when I feel there are enough people. I'm leaning towards ten right now so that we all can climb the mountain in the end. I may allow more. Just be warned, if you're not in the ten, you're probably done when the mountain saga begins. Also, I will determine the match-ups via Random Number Generator. Losing one match does not count you out (besides, the best ten are going in, so obviously I want ten people doing this thing). To start things off, I'll introduce my character for the roleplay. Lords will be introduced later.

Age: 21 Gender: Male Hometown: Saffron City, Kanto Appearance: Donovan has shoulder-length hair that is usually tied in a neat ponytail. His hair is a vivid shade of hazel, which contrasts his dark blue eyes. Donovan has a narrow stare that some people believe pierces the soul. His face and jaw are angular in shape. He is tall and skinny, at a height of five feet and ten inches, and a weight of around 160 pounds. Donovan has an average size overall, with a foot size of ten, and medium-sized hands. Donovan prefers to dress classy, usually in a collared shirt of some kind and jeans or dress pants. A defining feature is his pointed leather shoes, expensive and imported. He also has silver rings on both thumbs, his left index finger, and a class ring on his right ring finger. Personality: Donovan falls into the book-smart stereotype. Heavily intelligent with an IQ of 168, Donovan is looked to for advice. This intelligence stops after the books, however, because he is very ill-tempered and brash. He is known to make decisions that affect him negatively. His temper gets him in trouble with many people, and he is usually introverted. Donovan also says things as they are, not thinking of the feelings of others. Donovan enjoys reading books, and his favorite book is Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles. He also enjoys listening to classical music and he runs two miles each day to clear his head. History: Donovan's parents were trainers in their own right. In fact, most of his family took a Gym Leader challenge at one point. His father and uncle both underwent the challenge of completing the Gym Leader challenge in each region, and succeeded, although neither of them ever undertook a Pokemon League challenge. His mother began the Gym Leader challenge but found herself more into breeding, so she opened a ranch after she won her eighth badge. She then opened a ranch between her hometown of Saffron City and Vermillion City. Donovan is the eldest of his three brothers, and from a young age proved to be an overachiever. He received his first Pokemon, a Ralts, from his mother's ranch when an egg was hatched and nobody claimed it. He then challenged the Kanto Gym Leader challenge at age eleven, winning all eight badges. He then set out to beat his father and uncle, and aspired to not only win all four Gym Leader challenges, but win the three Pokemon League challenges as well. By the next year he had completed the Johto challenge and was ready for the Kanto/Johto Pokemon League. He challenged the Elite Four twice, losing halfway through the first time and winning the second time. By this time he was fourteen and retired temporarily to attend high school. He graduated a year early at the top of his class, and at seventeen, left for Hoenn and Sinnoh. He completed both Gym Leader challenges in two years, but lost both Pokemon League challenges. Feeling accomplished, Donovan returned home to his mother, father, and two brothers, one of whom was in high school and the other taking a break from battling as he just graduated. As he opened the door to his house and entered the dining room, his family sat there at the table, grinning. On the table was a large manila envelope with the Trainer Mountain sigil. He had broken his father and uncle's records. He was going to challenge Trainer Mountain. Pokemon Team: Donovan's team is a mixed team, consisting of his strongest and favorite Pokemon. At the helm is his trusted partner, Gallade, which evolved from his original Ralts. His other Pokemon carry a combination of attack and defense moves. Oh look who is here.
Also, you, Augustus, have the power to make me rage over a profile. Just with the team alone. Name: Kazik Zaniewski Age: 24 Gender: Male Hometown: Hearthrome City, Sinnoh Appearance: ((No trainer sprite, but a picture should work fine, right?)) Kazik stands at five foot nine with a thin frame. His hair is a rather bright shade of Butterscotch Blond, while his eyes are a deep blue. Kazik’s skin is rather pale, and will start to burn if he is out in the sun for too long. For a reason, Kazik tries to fit in with the fashion sense of the time. Now, in winter, he wears a black turtle neck sweater. Over that is a light olive green jacket, also with a turtle neck collar. The sleeves go over his hands, thus, from the wrist to the end, the sleeves are silted. It has silver buttons, along with several straps. Two go across his stomach, almost always buckled, with another two to go around the waist area, but never buckled. Thought it ends just shy of the thighs, some could see that there was once more to it, for from there are several coat tails, starting from the left, then behind and then stopping at the right of the coat. On his hands is pair of fingerless black gloves, stopping at the wrists. These allow Kazik’s long, thin fingers to be out in the air, better to play instruments, like the flute, better. The next piece of the outfit starts with a pair of black leather-like pants. Down the side of the sides of both pant legs are a silver floral-like pattern. Like the sleeves, about halfway between the knees and ankles, there is a slight in the pant legs. Unlike the sleeves, these have zippers on them, though mostly they are just left open. Around the waist, there is a black belt with a single silver buckle. For footwear, Kazik wears a pair of black combat boots. The ties are white, going up in a criss-cross pattern. Mostly, one can see Kazik with a deep brown messenger bag. Other than a few healing items for his Pokemon, Kazik carries only a few other items. Those items include a sketchbook, several pencils and pens, a sharpener for the pencils, some sort of paper back novel and a simple gray cloth. Among these items, tucked away carefully, it a hard, black case, one with only one thing in it – a Flute. This case is small; being it only has the Flute and a few backup pieces. The Flute itself is made of a metal, colored as dark silver. Personality: Kazik, in short, is a timid, shy person. He isn’t one to talk much, mostly only talking to himself or once asked something. And, given with that, Kazik is an obedient young man. It is rare to see him go against direction. But, sometimes, Kazik wishes he would have the courage to do so. Sometimes, he wouldn’t even agree with what he is told, but simply hold his tongue and go on with it. Kazik always seems tense, even more when around many people, such as a crowd. He hates crowds, really, and enjoys solitude. This is why the only was to seem him relax is when Kazik is with himself or only a few other people. But, Kazik likes to be with himself, not in the company of others. Because of this, Kazik is mostly only a hard shell – most people don’t see what he thinks about them and all on the inside. When attention is shifted to him, thought, Kazik will freeze up. He never liked the attention being put on him, making him stressed. And, with stress, Kazik will end up stuttering, unable to say what he’s supposed to say. To release any stress, Kazik will either play an instrument, mostly the Flute due to lack of others, or draw. Those, other than reading, are his hobbies. What Kazik draws the most is either scenery or people. Sometimes, Kazik would use his hobby for music to earn some money, playing in the streets and such. When in a tough situation, Kazik is prone to panicking, and, well, will. But, whatever friends he may have, Kazik will try to protect. Trust is hard to earned, but once it is earned, you can be sure that Kazik will try everything to help you. That trust is not easily shaken either. History: Several years before Kazik’s birth, there was two trainers – Charlotte and Rachita. The two, at first, took on the gym leader challenge of Sinnoh, separate. But, in the end, both switched over to becoming Coordinators. Both had made it into the Grand Festival. That was where the two had met, where romance had sprung. Even if neither of the two won the Grand Festival, they were happy with just finding each other. Several years after that meeting, they had married, and had decided on staying in Hearthrome City. Two years after, their son was born. At that time, Rachita hoped that Kazik would grow up to be a Coordinator, just like his parents. That is why Rachita had brought Kazik along with him when he went to the Contest Hall, starting at the age of six. As for school terms, Kazik was home schooled by his Mother, as well as taught how to play the Flute by her. Kazik didn’t have many friends, being taught at home and hardly ever talking with the other kids in the neighborhood. Really, he just stayed inside, doing whatever he found to do. Mostly it was reading, drawing, or practicing the Flute. When he was nine, Kazik received a Vulpix, which was given the name Ruby. This Vulpix was an offspring of his Mother’s Ninetails, the same fox Pokemon that brought Charlotte all of her ribbons. Though, a year later, when Kazik was able to go after all the ribbons, he decided against it. Thus, Kazik stayed behind while most of the other neighborhood kids went off all across the Sinnoh region. After two year, training with Ruby, Kazik felt that he was ready to go after his goal, one set before long ago. So, with Ruby at his side, Kazik had left to become a Coordinator. It took a little over three to even do so, and Kazik almost didn’t make it into the Grand Festival. If the last contest hadn’t been won, then, surely, Kazik wouldn’t have made it in. He was able to make it past the Preliminary Stage, and most of the Final Stage. But, the last match was very, very close. Kazik and his opponent were neck and neck in it. At the end, only one Pokemon remained for each, both in a bad condition. The last move was Power Gem, from Kazik’s Vespiquen, and Flash Fire, from the opponent’s Arcanine. Once the smoke from the attacks cleared away, it appeared that both Pokemon had fallen. Thus, it was all up to the points. Sadly, Kazik didn’t win, but had came very close to doing so – there was only a few points in the difference of his’ and the opponent’s scores. Returning home, Kazik tried to decide on what to do next with him life. When returning from the Festival, Kazik was already fourteen, almost fifteen. There had to be something else, something fit…And, that was where the Gym Leader Challenge came in. Kazik tried his hardest to train his team – they were fit more for contests than gyms. For a little over a year, and now sixteen, Kazik set off to try and make his way up the ranks as a trainer. For the first few battles, it was hard, especially for the gyms. This time, it took longer for the gyms, and for his Pokemon to adjust from the beauty to brutality of battles. About three and a quarter years it took just to make it to the Elite Four. And, even then, Kazik had troubles. In total, it took four tries to actually get to the champion. Twice he lost to Bertha, the second Elite Four member, a third lost was due to Lucian, the fourth Elite Four member, and finally the last lost was to Cynthia, the Champion. But, on the fifth try, Kazik had finally won. Ever so happy he was. After that, for five years, Kazik had happily traveled around two other regions, Hoenn and Kanto, participating in the Contests there. Sometimes, if ever, he would battle a few gym leaders, but never went on to challenge the Elite Four. Kazik had made the Grand Festival in both regions, but had only won the Ribbon Cup in the Hoenn region – Kanto, like before, Kazik had lost in the Final Stage. Around the time he had traveled to Hoenn, another addition to the team was made – an Altaria named Rachita, after his Father, who had gotten him into contests and the like. Coming home after all those years, Kazik was greeted by a simple manila envelope, one with a familiar mark on it. Where had he seen this before? Hastily opening it up, Kazik was both filled with surprise and pure joy. Trainer Mountain, out of all places! Kazik remember all the stories he had heard of this place, where only the best of the best where accepted to go into. And yet, here it was, right in his hands! Almost tripping over him, Kazik hastily ran upstairs to pack. Yeah. I'm using Vitalis again. I thought he was fitting since I'm feeling nostalgic.

His interest in battle was swaying but research began to give him a thrill. Vitalis ventured to the other regions to meet with esteemed professors and do all he could to assist them. After quite a few years of field work and research, he returned to Kanto to assist the renowned Prof. Oak, who had granted him an internship at the Oak Laboraties in cozy Pallet Town. Vitalis returned to Cerulean City one day to find that Misty had become the local Gym Leader. Enraged, he traded his lab coat for badge case, which filled up rather quickly. He flew from town to town, earning one badge after another. The speed at which he did this garnered the attention of the Pokemon League and before long, he filled an application to open his own gym. Simultaneously, he applied for a grant from the scientific community to open his own laboratory. He also contacted PETP (People for the Ethical Treatment of Pokemon) and the EPA for the start of a movement to save aquatic Pokemon suffering from pollution. The four letters resulted in the construction of an almost fantastical establishment, dubbed the Aquadome, which lay at the bottom of the sea off the coast of the Seafoam Islands. In this facility, Vitalis conducted research, battled challengers and saved Pokemon. Vitalis kept this juggling act up for some time, although sometimes fighting for funds. His breakthrough in the healing properties of Phione Dew supplied him with enough money for a while but a later lack of money led him to strike a bargain with the notorious Team Aqua. Aqua had barracks installed in the Aquadome, which puzzled him but actually kept his facility thriving. With people living there, a miniature economy had developed at the bottom of the ocean. Aqua then used the Aquadome, because of its proximity, as a base of operations for the capture a legendary Pokemon fabled to live in the Seafoam Islands. Vitalis quickly shut down his underwater facility to avoid any legal trouble. Now working with Prof. Oak once again, Vitalis received a mysterious invitation to an event on an island he had never heard of before. This looks fantastic. Could I possibly join?
 Name: Raven "Tymid" Synnabar Age: 20 Gender: Female. Hometown: Fuchsia City, Kanto. Appearance: Well, lookie' here. You first notice her by her confident swagger, a smirk resting on her lips that makes one's eyebrow lift in curiosity. She's a tiny thing, standing only about 5'3", and weighing about 125 pounds, very slender, curvy, but not abundantly so. Typically, her style of dress is fashionably proper to her training environment, but she likes to make sure people know that she's out for blood. Meaning, this isn't the sort of gal you'll willingly catch in a dress. Starting at her feet, knee high-boots lay hidden under her blue-jeans that are ripped right above the kneecap. A white wife-beater exposes just the right amount of midriff, but even that is covered up by a black leather bomber jacket with silver studs starting at the shoulders, and ending at the wrist. The back of the jacket is impressed with a pair of white wings. She leaves a lot to the imagination, looking more like a tom-boy instead of a trainer. Her 6 pokeballs rest on a custom made leather belt with a silvery buckle emblazoned with a silhouetted Ninetales; she is proud to note that this is her only fashion-splurge item. You'll never catch her without her backpack, which, as a natural necessity for trainers with all of her potions, revives, full-heals and spare poke'balls, hides her notebook and pen, should she ever need to write down a song. She wears no hat to hide her eyes, she prefers to let her eyes do the talking. Looking away from the wearables, you notice her odd-looking visage. Her hands are tiny, barely big enough to hold an expanded poke'ball, with long fingers. These fingers have strange callouses, not some typically found on trainers' hands, but more like a musician's. Her fingernails are clipped sort, with no paint. When you look at her face, the first thing you notice is her deep eyes, almost black in appearance, but in reality (and in bright sunlight), they are actually a dark green. Her eyes are big, and captivating, radiating intelligence and curiosity, but even they possess that "trainer stare". Her hair is long, never straightened, never curled, just a wavy tummult around her slender face. Make-up is another thing she doesn't indulge in; most of the time you'll only catch her wearing a bit of mascara and blush. Her skin is pale, and smooth, her lips naturally full and pink, and her eyes big and accentuated. However, her thought for not needing make-up is thus: "Poke'mon training isn't pretty." Personality: She is SARCASTIC. No, really, she is. She plays well with others if they play well with her, because that's just how she was raised. She usually isn't the first person to say hello, unless someone is really interesting to her, and her curious nature wants to find out more. She's quite an amusing individual, with an awkward sense of humor...but a very smart-ass, mischevious nature that, with her appearance, makes her look cute instead of intimidating. On the rare occasion that she ever does get angry enough, you'll know it...and the best thing to do is leave her to her music. She's not the type to fight if she, herself is insulted--more if her friends are, or if she truly feels threatened. She is a musician and artist other than a trainer, and when she needs alone time, or if she loses a battle, she likes to compose melodies, or do sketches of her poke'mon. History: Looking back into her past, there's nothing too spectacular to note. She was brought up by loving parents on the outskirts of Fuchsia City, who recognized her inner beauty and entered her in pageants with the family's Spearow. She was well fed, well kept, and actually quite girly, loving the color pink and putting ribbons in her hair. She never thought she'd be a trainer; her only dream was to be a renowned Poke'mon groomer. That all changed when she turned 11. The day of her 11th birthday, her parents took her to Celadon to buy a present. It was there that she got her first bomber jacket, part of what symbolizes her style today. When her feet started hurting, she wandered outside, finally getting to the outskirts of the city, where it was quiet. She parked herself on a bench, licking at her ice-cream cone. She took no notice of the sirens in the city, there were always sirens in the city. However, she did take notice when a harried looking officer came darting by, double-taking when he passed the small girl in a leather jacket with ribbons in her hair. Apparently her father had collapsed, and her mother was frantic. Her father died that night due to an undiagnosed heart condition. That night was the first night that she wrote a song. That was the first night that she realized how alone she really was in this world, and she vowed that it would be the last. She cried that night, knowing how useless ribbons were, how silly make-up was, and how little it would mean in the long run. Friendship. She needed Friendship. That night, she packed her things, and her mother, knowing that the time had finally arrived for her little girl to be off. She packed her things, took what money she had, and stepped out the door, into the blustery night. It's taken her 9 years for her to resume a normal life. Since that night that her father died, training poke'mon has been her only focus, her only desire. She has collected, studied, and fought with many poke'mon, but something about the first 6 she raised made her team. She'll smile and tell you that there's just something about the homegrown variety that gets her blood pumping. Through her years of dedication and training, she has gained a report amongst gym leaders, trainers, and citizens in general, though it is underlying, and not one she boasts of or uses. She now lives in a small one-bedroom apartment in Celadon in between travels and battles...and now she has received and invitation to a mysterious island. What will she do...? An absolutely amazing roleplay. Congrats.
Name: Kaitlyn (Waffles) Fergurt Age: 19 Gender: Female Hometown: Pastoria - Sinnoh Appearance: At first glance, she looks entirely insane. Her clothes are very unusual, and her expression usually consists of a maniacal grin. She is at an average height for her age, being about 5'9" last time she checked, and with such a thin silhouette comes a light wieght of merely 112lbs. She has a flat build at first glance, but underneath is some good upper-arm strength, but poor thigh strength, though she's lithe and able to flex well. She's definitely not a good runner, but she can make quick turns if she must sprint to evade danger. Not a person of stamina, she makes up for it by being able to recover quick and be able to get through many tough situations by using her impressive agility. Anyway, she is relatively pale, with long, thin-but-dense, broken-up and frizzed-at-the-tip, dirty-blonde hair that reaches the bottom of her back, which go nicely with her grey-blue eyes. She has an obsessive habit of walking on her toes which she's had from when she was young, so her heels are somewhat degraded and 'pointy'. She seems to have issues with clothes(and she does), as she only wears a black crop top and a pair of black gym shorts that are both form-fitting and very comfortable, but unusual, and are only replaced with a new outfit of the same top and bottoms when the old ones get too worn to use. Around her neck is a soft black headband originally designed for skiing, but she only uses it occasionally to keep her hair out of her face and otherwise never takes it off with the exception of when she bathes, but even then she keeps it in her sight at all times. She has a large brown duster that is normally wrapped-up and tied around her waist, too, which she uses for a blanket when surviving in the wilderness, and lugs it around everywhere, never leaving it behind. She has seemingly custom-made sandals that have no heel, and are only used to protect the pads of her feet from dangers, for she hates wearing shoes and loves to walk barefoot, but danger to her soft feet is inevitable, and her brown, tight-fitting, foam-padded half-sandals work wonders to keep her feet young. She wears these unusual clothes everywhere, being able to adapt to the changing conditions easily, as in cold weather she brings along special snow boots aswell as a pair of snow gloves. Personality: Some consider her insane, others a prodigy. Overall she is a kind, caring, if not a crazy, individual. Nobody in the known world can come close to her strange twist of a personality. She has unusual preferences, yet manages to stay generally healthy and clean, and does have perks that prevent others from befriending her. You either have or haven't heard of her, is a fan of her, met her, or met and love/hate her. She had been diagnosed with a hyperactive disorder, but refused to take medication, and is actually healthier than most people. When you first meet her, she's innocent and cheery, but after knowing you for long enough, she's wreaking havoc on your life with snooping of personal belongings and personal history, unintentional verbal insults, and invasion of personal space. After finally enough time, she realises her actions and can truly become a wonderful, trustworthy friend; although, it's rare to be around her that long. Yet, despite this mental issue, she was born a prodigy, and quite a few people believe that nobody can surpass her. After all, she's only caught four Pokemon in her life, and has already gotten this far in less than three years. History: A girl was born 19 years ago by the name of Kaitlyn Fergurt under Margret Fergurt and Herald Fergurt. She was born normally, it seemed, but the first sign of a mental disorder was when she took so long to learn how to stand, speak, and learn her name. When she was two, no matter how hard her parents tried, she would never respond to her birth name, until her father discovered her love of the word 'waffles' during a big breakfast involving waffles. And it didn't matter if it was just 'waffle', it absolutely had to 'waffles' with an 's'. Since then her nickname became Waffles, and she never uses her real name unless it's utterly necessary. At first she got into school a year late, but she excelled at anything related to training Pokemon. However, she struggled with everything else, and barely made it every year. She didn't have many friends, and didn't seem to have any interest in the rules of society, so it took some effort to force the basic socially accepted requirements of living like a sane person into her head. She always insisted on wearing very little clothes, and had a strange interest in the anatomy of humans and mammalian Pokemon. When she was six, she would constantly walk on the pads of her feet, no matter what her parents or other people thought about it, and because it was difficult to do so in shoes, she had a tendency to walk around everywhere barefoot. She developed callaces, but it wasn't too uncommon for infections to come up. At eight, her parents discovered a musical talent, and tried putting her into a musical class to help with school. Unfortunately, something happened, and she got into enough trouble to be banned from the class. This was the beginning of her hyperactive disorder, and after that incident she constantly got into trouble at school. She may've been sweet and innocent, but her issue made the school tell her parents that she either had to take medication or not come to school. Unfortunately, all of the medications available had some sort of negitive effect on her, and she ended up being homeschooled for some years, before returning once again. The first year was hectic, and she was held back to take it again. The second year she made one or two friends, and she managed to get into the next year. The third year was the year before high school, and she made two more friends, but that year would be the last time she'd see them, for she dropped out of school once summer vacation came. Waffles dropped out, and then became obsessed over Pokemon. She got her first Pokemon at sixteen, a Cyndaquil who had been neglected by its previous owner and given to the Pokemon center, only to have the trainer never return. So, she got it, and named him Syrup. He had a scar running over his left shoulder, which stayed there as he evolved. Anyway, her second Pokemon she caught very soon after obtaining Syrup, and was a girl Shinx that Waffles actually caught be accident, but kept and became named Foofy. She had a slightly crooked right ear. With these two Pokemon, she crushed Sinnoh's Gym Leader Challange, but skipped the Sinnoh League and sailed for Hoenn. There, in Hoenn, not only did she defeat the Gym Leader Challenge in two months, she also found another Pokemon to add to her small group. Somewhere in the chaos of her visit to Hoenn, she caught a Corphish and named her Bell, who hated her trainer but quickly evolved into a more-powerful-than-normal Crawdaunt. A great addition to the two Sinnoh Pokemon, she has only managed to lose against another Pokemon 3 or 4 times. By then Waffles' caught the attention of Team Aqua, but fended them off fine, and skipped over the Hoenn League to visit Johto and Kanto for their 16 Gyms. At first she started in Johto, but only went half-way when she switched over to Kanto and began skipping through the Gym Leader Challenge over there with ease. Quickly she found Team Rocket on her tail, but ignored it and finished up the Kanto Gyms. Right before she left for Johto again she found another Pokemon, a male Zubat she named Fudge. At one point as a Golbat, one of his fangs broke, but healed when he evolved into a Crobat. She and her four Pokemon finished up the Johto Gyms, and then sailed to Hoenn for their League. She defeated the Hoenn league on the first try, but before she left the region for Sinnoh, a friend asked her to take care of their Lickilicky. She accepted the request, and finally arrived in Sinnoh once again. She stayed in her home region for a little while to train a bit with the Gym Leaders, then tried the Sinnoh League, and lost to Cynthia the first time but won the second time. One day before she went for the Kanto/Johto League, she discovered the Lickilicky with an egg, and decided to keep the egg for a fifth Pokemon. She returned to Hoenn to give the Lickilicky back to her friend, and then went over to Kanto again for their League Challenge. She was winning with flying colors, when in the middle of the Champion battle her egg started hatching, and she made it such a big deal that the battle became a draw and was postponed for another day. It didn't take long for her try again at the League, but Lance recognised her easily and decided to have a rematch right away instead of having to go through the Elite Four again. She won, and then being one of the very few trainers who have gone through all four Gym Leader Challenges and all three Pokemon League chalanges, returned home to Sinnoh to train in the Battle Zone. She bought an empty villa and has yet to furnish it, and also her new female Lickitung companion she named Pocket never learned Ancientpower so never evolved. It wasn't long after that when she received her invitation to Trainer Mountain, and soon left for the challenge, being a little less than three years since she got her first Pokemon. Name: Gorotsuki Izo <traditional Japanese> Age: 21 Gender: Male Hometown: Ecruteak City, Johto Region Appearance: At about 200 lbs of muscle and 6' in height Izo wears a mash up of Rocket, Magma, Aqua, and Galactic gear. Izo has the bandana of Team Aqua on a head of rusty brown, to-his-earlobe-length, hair. He wears a Magma hoody with its hood cut off and cut to look where it is open chested. Underneath the hoody is a Rocket unitard with the signature big red R on the chest.. Finally Izo wears a pair of Galactic boots bearing personalized golden G's on the outer sides. Personality: Like any other Evil organization mindset; Lie, Cheat, Steal. Generally money hungry and scheming, Izo also has a soft spot for his pokemon. If anything happens to his precious pokemon he explodes into a mild rage where he blames everything and anything. This contradicts his favorite passtime however; stealing pokemon for the highest bidder. Izo will go to any length to come to ends. Be it money, possesions, or pokemon, he makes it happen. History: Izo was born to a lower class family in the slums of Ecruteak City. He did minimally in school to make by untill one day on a field trip to Mahogany Town he was cornered by a Team Rocket Grunt recruiting young aspects. The Grunt persuded Izo to join, and leave home and school forever. The grunt had told him that he didn't need school to be successful, just the Team and their money making schemes. Izo threw away his books and marched into Rocket HQ. What he did not know, was that there was an initiation into the team. You had to steal a pokemon to get in. This bothered Izo at start, but they told him it was the only way. So he asked for a pokemon to help him on his mission. They gave him what was supposed to be a Zubat, however he ended up with a Gligar instead. It seems a past grunt mistaken it for a Zubat, probally why he lost his job. Using what resources he had Izo went into the town and searched for a vulnerable target. A few hours later a prim and proper rich lady was walking into the ally that Izo was scoping out. She was walking her Todadile and Izo attacked. After some minor resistance Izo subdued the woman and her pokemon. Izo returned to the HQ with the pokemon and they accepted his admisson, even gave him the pokemon for a job well done. Later on when Team Rocket was disbanded Izo travelled to Hoenn, enlisted into Team Magma, and given a Houndour. Izo ended up being a double agent for both Magma and Aqua, where he got Surskit. Unfortunatly Magma and Aqua did not last long either. So, Izo moved to Sinnoh, joined Team Galactic, and got Scoropi. Like the instance in Johto Izo received Bronzor as a gift. It seemed third times are not always the charm when Galactic, also, was ended. After of some years of individual traveling Izo settled down in Sinnoh and tried, failed, tried and failed again to found his own organization. So Izo decided to hang up his henchmen's coat and go after the Sinnoh trainers challenge. Izo took his time travelling to each Gym training his team for each event. In about a year Izo challenged the Elite Four and defeated them narrowly. As a reward Cynthia gave Izo her invitation to the Trainers Mountain Challenge, because she could not attend. Reason being, she had other engagments to attend. Izo gratefully accepted the offer and immediatly headed for Trainer Mountain, tightening his pokemon's training every chance he got along the way.
