I want to have a contest but what contest and what prizes?
Contest creating is not my specialty so that's for ALL of you to sort out =/ Feel free to discuss amongst the thread ;D

As for prizes, I can has draw things ;D I can't really draw creatures though so pokemon drawings or sort of out of the question |: I can do a Humanized Pokemon (gijinka) though 8D

You know, because getting Ditto to breed is hard.

For non ditto users: Do the same thing without Ditto.

What if we tried to do a shiny novelty hunt? and can only be done with your daycare?
Shinies are hard to get... and it will be fun actually. Though since shinies might take a while, the time could be about 2 or 3 weeks?

Lul, I've been shiny hunting CharClones since the beginning of the year and so has Bleu & Milk and NONE of us have hatched a shiny CharClone, nor has any of the eggs that were sent to the shelter when our pairs made more than one at once turned out to be shiny.
But shiny hunting novelties is a fine option if the others are interested.

@ProfAnthony: I wouldn't count anyways since I'm the one running the contest B)

Shiny Hunting novelties seems alright... although I've just changed my pair to kinda u[p my breeding ranks and all that... and changed it in SC, so I don't want to change it again I don't particuarly WANT a Shiny DW... but I'll hunt it, if you do decide on a Shiny Novelty hunt

Contest Info so far
--Discussion on the contest ends a week from today (after the reset on 8/26/10)
--Voting on Contest Options will then begin when I get on on the 27th.
--Voting will end after a week (maybe less if a lot of members vote before the week is up)


1) Novelty breeding contest.
Most novelties bred/hatched in a certain time period. All must be in your possession.
Dracowymsy will be excluded though since they make only DW's and in high quantities.

2) Novelty Shiny Hunt.
Time Limit: One Month (May extend until SOMEONE hatches one if no one has bred a shiny within the time period but if at least one person has, the contest is over :>)
I think the title of itself pretty much speaks for itself.

3) Gender Breeding Contest:
Breed gender specific Novelty Pokemon they have to be in your possession at the time the contest ends so that means you will have to hatch them yourself ;D All gender fails you can feel free to release.
Pokemon Eligible: Female Starter Clones & Male Shellderboys. (all of which have 12.5% chance of being the specified gender)

I'm thinking about having contest ideas 2 & 3 run at once and here is how I would do it...
You can only participate in one and to make sure you don't do both and just go with whichever you end up doing better in you have to sign up for which one you are going to do--- Sign ups will not close until the contest ends but only pokemon obtained after you sign up will count towards the contest.

I can has will draw for the winners. How many winners there will be and what I will draw (ie, sketch, full body color, chibi color etc...) will be determined when we know more about which contest it will be 8D
I can say that if it's the shiny hunting contest I will do a chibi full color for everyone that successfully gets a shiny within the time period & I'll do a full body color (Or multiple Chibis) for whoever hatches one first 8D Idk... I'm still getting the kinks in all this sorted out.

Clearly, all I can do is cutesy anime stuff |: I'll draw anything in anime form you want though as long as it's within my abilities of drawing. Pokemon Gijinka are fine if you can't think of anything else you want 8D
