This actually just started for me. I will give a pokemon a berry, or warm an egg, and it doesn't register the first time. The second time around it does.


Using fire fox, didn't download anything recently to it.

Hm...I disabled my Add-Ons, looked if my Firewall blocked something...but everything is ok...
It happened while I was clicking, so I already clicked some Pokemon/eggs this day and I didn't install or change something ._.

Yeah, I've been having this problem too. I got in 100-some clicks around 1 or 2am (server time), but when I checked in again at about noon, I couldn't click.

--> Referrer URL is nonexistent, as in above user's screenshot.
--> Using the latest version of Firefox on Windows Vista.
--> Having the problem in Safe Mode.
--> Did not, to the best of my knowledge, update any sort of anti-virus/anti-spyware/firewall programs between when I stopped clicking and when I started.

This is unfortunate, if a fix is not found it will probably mean the end of my time at gpx+ as continuing would mean using internet explorer and I'm not willing to do that more than a couple times before giving up on the site. I do not think it is anything on my end as I didn't change anything (absolutely nothing no matter how small) on my browser to cause the problem and safe mode, which temporarily reverts Firefox to default, doesn't fix it for me. Maybe it is a problem with one of the recent Firefox updates making the site incompatible or something but everything was fine just a few days ago.

have any one tried restall fire fox and see if it work? if not we might to wait till the next fire fox update.

I'm not sure it's a Firefox* problem. Mine's been on the current update for quite some time now and I only just got affected by this yesterday.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled firefox. All addons are gone and it still doesn't work.

Works with IE, but it's so slow that I'm not even gonig to bother.

Same exact thing has been happening to me for the past couple of hours. I click on a berry and the berries all reappear again. Usually it works on the second time, but sometimes it takes five or six times. It's so frustrating that I'm making my first post over here just because of it. xD

THIS FIX IS FOR:
-- People whose clicks will not go through every time. If you were having a problem with your clicks only sometimes not going through, or take a long time to show on your stats page, this is probably of no use to you!
-- People who were using Firefox when this happened.
-- People who were using Firefox in safe mode and still couldn't click.
-- The same people who couldn't use Firefox (safe mode or not) to click, but could use another browser (ex, Internet Explorer).
-- People who don't mind reading tl;dr.

Pretty much everything you do is At Your Own Risk, so don't come at me with pitchforks if you make Firefox explode into a big fiery ball visible from space. Hopefully, though, this'll be clear enough that that does not happen.



1. Open up a new tab or window so you can refer back to these instructions. Alternatively, you might want to print this out, or copy them into Notepad.

2. In your URL bar, type in "about:config" without quotes, and press enter. [Image of this step HERE: http://img17.yfrog.com/img17/6127/step01e.png]

3. You may get a grey warning screen, telling you that if you continue on to the about:config page, you may void your warranty, make your browser explode into a big fiery ball visible from space, and bring about the next apocalypse. Click the button that says you understand all that, and would like to continue on anyway, thank you very much.

4. You will now see a gigantic page with a million different settings that you have the ability to play around with. Do NOT play around with them. Don't poke around and experiment, don't let your cat walk on your keyboard, nothing. What you want to do is go to the Filter bar on that page, and copy and paste the following into it: network.http.sendRefererHeader. 5. Only one result should come up, and if the problem lies with Firefox for you, then under the heading "Value" it will say "0". If the heading says "1" or "2", then the problem probably isn't Firefox. Instead, check your firewall settings, as it could be the reason why you can't click. 6. Now that we've found the troublemaker, let's set things back the way they should be. Double-click on the result, and a box will pop up asking you to enter the integer value. The number we want is "2", so type in that number and hit "Okay". This is the Firefox default, and what it should have been all along. 7. Close the about:config page (it will save on its own!), and head on over to GPXPlus. Click on whatever Pokémon or egg you see first and try to interact with it, and then another. Did both of your clicks go through? If yes, STOP. Congratulations! You've fixed the problem and may now return to your regularly scheduled activities.
If the pages simply refresh and behave like they did earlier, then there's still some work to do.

8. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4. When you've found network.http.sendRefererHeader again, check the number under "Value". Does it still say "2"? If so, this is probably a problem with your firewall, and you'll have to play around with that. If it's set itself back to "1" or "0", you may have an add-on changing this without your knowledge. Close the about:config page for now, and shut down Firefox (again, you might want to print out these instructions or copy-paste them into Notepad, as we'll be doing a whole lot of shutting down and restarting Firefox from here on out).

9. Open Firefox in Safe Mode. I found it by clicking Start, then All Programs, opening the Mozilla Firefox folder, and then clicking on "Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)" [Image of this HERE: http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/6414/step05.png]

10. A box with several options will pop up. DO NOT CHECK ANY OF THE BOXES. IF ANY BOXES ARE CHECKED (and they shouldn't be, unless you checked them), UNCHECK THEM. If you check a box and end up deleting all of your bookmarks/preferences/etc. don't whine at me, I warned you not to check any boxes! Instead, ignore everything except the "Continue in Safe Mode" button. Press that, and Firefox will appear again. [Image of this HERE: http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/1503/step06.png]

11. Now that you're in Safe Mode, all of your add-ons, extra toolbars, etc. have been temporarily disabled. (Note that disabled is not the same as uninstalled. They are still there, and will be enabled again as soon as you enter normal Firefox) What you want to do now, is repeat steps 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. If network.http.sendRefererHeader saved its setting (on "2"), and you're able to click again, we're closer to solving the problem, but not quite there yet! If it's still not working, and you've followed all of these steps to the letter, er. I have no idea what's wrong with your Firefox, maybe you have a firewall you don't know about? =(

12. What we've determined now is that you have an add-on that is changing the value of network.http.sendRefererHeader without your knowledge. Exit Safe Mode (the same as you would exit normal Firefox), and then open up your normal Firefox. Click on Tools --> Add-ons. A box will pop up. Click on the name of an extension, then click on "Disable". Do NOT click on "Uninstall". Go through each and every one of your extensions, and disable them. In order for this to take effect, you'll need to restart Firefox. Do that. [Image of this HERE: http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/3058/step07.png]

13. Repeat steps 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 AGAIN. You should now be able to click in normal Firefox, but your extensions are all disabled, which you probably do not want. Go to Tools --> Add-ons, and click on the name of an extension. The "Disable" button has changed to "Enable". Click on that, then restart Firefox. Do not enable more than one extension at a time! You'll just be making more work for yourself.

14. Repeat step 7 only. Did your click go through? If so, this Add-on is NOT changing network.http.sendRefererHeader on you. Go to Tools --> Add-ons, and click the next extension on your list. Enable it, restart Firefox, and repeat step 7.

15. Continue doing this for each and every extension you have installed, making sure you restart Firefox in between each extension you enable. Eventually, you should reach a point where after enabling one of the extensions you suddenly won't be able to click again. If you've been enabling your add-ons one at a time, you'll know immediately that this one is the culprit. Disable it for now, and make a note of it. Test all your remaining add-ons just to make sure it's the only one that was screwing things up.

16. Once you've finished, you should have one extension disabled (the problem extension), and all the rest enabled again. You now can either leave the extension disabled for now, or uninstall it for good. It's completely up to you, and you should be able to go back to clicking away like mad at any time. Congratulations on fixing your browser! =)




What do I do if I'm not allowed to uninstall the problem extension?/I use a shared computer and someone else in the family uses/wants that extension
If you're not allowed to uninstall it, disable the extension and restart Firefox when you want to use GPXPlus. It will still be installed, but prevented from working. When you're done with the computer, make sure you enable the extension again (and restart Firefox!) for the next person to use.

I tried using Firefox in Safe Mode earlier, but it didn't work. Why?
I think this is because the problem extension edited the value of network.http.sendRefererHeader, and Firefox saved it, thinking its something YOU did. Also, the options on about:config aren't all related to extensions, and wouldn't have been turned off.

I uninstalled Firefox completely, and when I reinstalled I still had the problem, even without my extensions. What happened?
I think it's because Firefox saves some preferences to your computer even after it's uninstalled. I'm not sure. If it does, it probably saved the changed value of network.http.sendRefererHeader, too.

yeah thanks man it worked at it was the Add on named Illimitux 4.0 and it was it newest version.

It was Illimitux, for me too. Scuse me while I go find the maker and kick him in the nads...
