Okay, well, I just updated to Firefox 3.6 (because the site read which version I was using and had a rather annoying message at the top saying that I needed to update), and my Snaplinks is doing something rather irksome... when I'm on a user page (like when I'm doing clickbacks; I have the Pokemon links turned off for speed) and open that person's party, they open up directly to the right of the party page, shunting the other tabs over in favor of the Pokemon tabs.
Is there a way to have them open up at the end of the list of tabs? I can't find one on the Options screen for Snaplinks. This post has been edited by Doctor Octopus: Feb 10 2010, 08:28 PM -------------------- |

Just a note, if you use Tabs Mix Plus to add a 'Close Similar Tabs' option, it closes the tab you're on as well.

MP: Go to about:config and find browser.tabs.InsertRelatedAfterCurrent and set it to false.
Also AT I don't know if you aware of this, but since it's not on the screenie you have.. You can toggle the users that have nothing new to click on the online list. -------------------- |

Tab Mix Plus - Similar to some of your suggested add-ons, it lets you protect tabs, close similar tabs, close other tabs, close tabs to left or right, and possibly other useful stuff for the site that I haven't notice yet. Swift Tabs - Instead of using ctrl + tab and ctrl + w, you can set a key combo (ctrl, alt, shift, or command + any other key you choose) to close current tab, move to next tab, or move to previous tab. Links Like This - Right-click a link, click 'open links like this', and a pop-up will appear with how many links there are similar to that one on the page and with an option with whether or not you want to open them all. I use it for opening all the small Pokemon/egg icon links in the Poketch Interaction tab in one go. I wouldn't suggest using it in the User Online page because that has thousands of links and will bring a pop-up saying a script's running low (just stay stop script and it'll be fine). But the Users Online should be fine if you're like Arceus Thrasher and already clicked most of the people on there. I believe the max it can open in one go is 999 so if your comp/browser can handle it, it's great for opening hundreds of pages in one go. The former two work wonders; however, FireFox 3.5 lags an absolute shitload when you use Links Like This to open up new tabs. .__.; I'll give it a try with 3.6 now. |

Ok, I am also getting the irky message, and am wondering if I should upgrade to 3.6, or just not worry about the message.

Mind you, snaplinks is just as laggy as it is on 3.5.7. Sadly, Links Like This is also proving troublesome. |

It's really a minor release, nothing major - I think the only real changes were the addition of Personas (before it was an extension, now they're supported natively), a few new CSS features, some performance improvements, and general bug fixes - anything that says it isn't compatible likely just doesn't have it listed as one of its supported versions, and can be forced to work properly with the Nightly Tester Tools add-on.

Is it weird that my computer lags if I'm listening to music and mass click? It's really driving me mental because I love listening to soundtracks while I click.

@ Confusious: The only way to know whether if music is causing the lag is to try clicking without music playing, and see if it makes a difference.
Oh, and I don't know why, but I can't mass click without firefox going incredibly slow with 3.6. I'm not sure what it is, so I'm heading back to 3.5. -------------------- |

It makes a big difference. I'm clicking now, and I can get through roughly 200 tabs within 3-5 minutes, wheras if I listen to music, it'll take about 8-10 minutes. Quite the difference.

Well there's your answer xD. Do you have maybe portable speaker or iPod Dock or anything like that that will let you GPX and listen to music without lag.

If you have an extension like Foxytunes IIRC it's called, that could make a difference.
Otherwise, if you're using iTunes, that in itself could be a problem, since the program's a complete pig. -------------------- |

No and no to both. I use Winamp. I have tried iTunes and it is an even bigger resource hog than Winamp is.

I use iTunes, and I don't have any drama with lag. (unless the site's being laggy)
It might be worth downloading iTunes and giving it a go if FoxyTunes won't yield the results you want. There was also a way to fix the memory leaks in FireFox, which I'll have to add to the about:config menu when I find the settings for it again. Doing that will compact the files and leave you with more available Mb to use. |

Screenshot (click to show ) There's a screeny. As you can see, it's nasty. And I changed the :aboutconfigs: as they were posted before, and it messed up my firefox completely. Had to reformat to get it back to normal. I'd really rather not mess with them again. -------------------- |
