I did what you said about stylish and it put a check mark next to every single link, including ones i never clicked. Did anyone else have this problem with stylish?

I've often wondered what the point of Snap Links was when you can just click the "Open all pokemon in new Windows" link [which opens them in tabs, not windows]?
Also, is there anything similar to close all tabs for Opera? -------------------- |

I also get a checkmark on ALL links i ever visited, so i just disabled the thing.
QUOTE(samike) I've been using this system and I love it! However, I recently upgraded to firefox 3.6, but now, whenever I snaplink the pokemon in someones party, they open directly to the right of that page instead of at the back like I wanted to. I tried changing the browsetabdivertedinbackground thing to true, but it doesn't change anything! Can someone please help? QUOTE(Meiroh Tsukichi) Anyway, i found that way around it, to disable the setting : QUOTE First type 'about:config' in the Firefox address bar. You'll get a warning that you're tinkering with Firefox's innards and you should be careful, but this isn't brain surgery, so don't be frightened. Click the 'I'll be careful, I promise' button, and you'll see a big list of all the browser settings that can be tweaked. Next, in the text box labeled 'Filter:', type 'tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent'; you should see just one entry below. In the column marked 'Value,' double-click on the word 'true' to change it to 'false.' You're done. (Credits go to http://www.daemonnews.org/business-tech/53...-tab-ethos.html ) Also, i don't know for all of you people, but i tend to test a lot of addons, not keeping them, and when i visited the about:config page i realized my profile was a mess, with way too many "userset" options i didn't know anything about. And my browser was really slow, compared to what everything is shown here. So, if you're in the same case, here is what i did. Now, the pages load almost instantly, even with the images on (if not too many tabs opened at once. If so, just disable the images as explained in the whole topic ^^) - First, backup your addons and bookmarks, for example using FEBE. You can save also your cookies, preferences and all that. But i don't know if saving the profile as a whole still fixes the problem, so personally i used the 'selective' way and restored the minimum. It's not that annoying to re-log in your websites ONCE... ^^" - Then, close your browser and open the "Run" thing in Windows (by default you find it in the start menu). Type in "firefox.exe -P" (Note : it's important that your browser is closed, and don't forget the space before the -) You will see the list of your Firefox profiles. Create a new one (which should be called "Default User", but call it as you wish) and relaunch your browser. Tadaa ! You're here with a shiny brand new Firefox ! - Now, open the folder in which you stored the FEBE backup files, and run your addons. That's when i don't know if using the FEBE "restore" option does or does not bring back all the stuff you want to clean. So, i just re-installed the addons manually, clicking them one after the other. They are .xpi files, so if you're told that Windows doesn't recognize the extension, choose the program in a list, it's Firefox. And the addon will be installed just as if you were on the Mozilla website... ^___^ - As for the Bookmark, go into your Bookmark menu, select "manage bookmarks", then "import". It's a .html file, stored in the same folder than the addons. Oh, and since your old profile isn't suppressed (yet, here you choose what to do, i suggest you wait a couple of weeks before erasing it, just in case something goes wrong... Just do the same command in the Run program to switch the profiles back...) Here, i hope it will help someone. Please tell me if something isn't clear, i typed as if i was talking AND English isn't natural to me, so sometimes my phrasing can be real weird... xD EDIT : @ Delicious Pudding : It's still useful on the Users Online list, or on PalPads. You can open several user pages at once, instead of browsing them one after the other. Saves LOTS of time, just like the - new - "open all pokemons in new windows" does. EDIT 2 : Attempted to correct some shameful grammar... >__< . -------------------- |

Also, is there anything similar to close all tabs for Opera? the point of the Snap Links, is so you can close the Party page when you've opened all the pokémon. If you just click "open all pokémon in tabs/windows" it goes to the last pokémon and you have to scroll back to get to the party page again to close it. Checkmarks...? -------------------- Don't forget to love yourself. Kudos to the admin(s) who made the interaction update look like this:
Which doesn't cause the screen to shift down, causing a few misses. Thanks! -------------------- Stuff (click to show ) |

@ Samoo : to disable the "going to the last pokemon page" thing, follow the tip given by i-don't-remember-who-sorry, on the about:config page. From then on, clicking the link instead of using the snaplink thing is actually much faster, since you can mass-click it through all the user pages you have opened, just the way you click the berries after.
But the addon is still useful to open the user pages... Sorry about the "checkmarks", i honestly don't even know if the word exists, it just looked self-explanatory to me. xD It's about the Stylish tip to get a mark next to the links you already visited that day. Something must be wrong about the code, because i get a mark next to all the link i ever visited, even three day before. So it's useless for now, at least to the people who get that problem. -------------------- |

So I used stylish and put themes on other sites where I noticed a bunch of stuff had been moved around on the site because of the installed theme. Does anyone know how to use stylish to make those things happen? All the tutorials I found for it suck.

I had a pretty good day. 4,560 clicks today. But now I don't know what's wrong with mass clicking. I went through six different versions of Firefox (don't even ask) and nothing seems to help.
ctrl+tab takes about two seconds to select to the next tab, and there's a bit of a delay before it'll let me click. Perhaps it's Java fucking up on me? It doesn't seem like much, but it's fucking FRUSTRATING when you're going through a few hundred tabs. I had Fasterfox and it only caused more problems then it did fix any. Edit: Just noticed that it's happening with eggs. Feeding berries goes just fine. Weird. :\ This post has been edited by Confusious: Jan 29 2010, 09:09 PM -------------------- |

i was banned for doing this. that sucks. it told me not to make a new account but i didn't cheat or anything so i did. nice guide btw I was banned for doing this at one point as well, but my case has been resolved. I'm able to click as much, if not more, than your average bot on most days, so I was thought to be a bot. Sadly, there's no way to track genuine botters, so mistakes like this may be a common occurance; especially now that more of you are mass-clicking these days. I'm gonna have to rev-amp this sometime next week with all this new info I'm getting. And next time, I'll remember to screenshot chests/little man/Manaphy egg with images turned off. |

@ Gallade: Obviously you didn't.
In the part about Multi/Snap links; QUOTE Open up the online list and draw around as many names as you can. (30 to 40 should suffice) You’ll find that everyone you drew around will have had their party opened up in another tab. Now, draw around everything in their party and close off the party tabs with CTRL + W. Do the same to everyone else. Once that’s done, cycle through the tabs with CTRL + Tab and click through everyone’s Pokémon. When you get back to the start, close off all the tabs. Rather than use CTRL + W, use the add-on “Remove tabs” (Explained further on).

you can also use the random button open the pokemon and repeat it until you have like 100 tabs open then use Ctrl+W

I used the ImgLikeOpera thing to block images, and it worked. Just now most pokemon and egg images are showing up anyway.. Is there a way to sort it?

You probably didn't enter the three rules she gave, or didn't set it to "4", hence part of the images still load...
@ Confusious : i know my post is messy, but did you try 'cleaning' your firefox profile ? @ Fate : it's ANOTHER setting ! Why don't people read the whole topic ? T__T The setting that opens the new tabs next to the active one is 'tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent' . You have to set it to "false", as it's 'true' by default on the 3.6 version. -------------------- |
