That Bribing Your Way To Victory thing with Shuffle is why I'll NEVER spend a single cent on that game. mad.gif I fucking LOATHE that business model. Because it veers dangerously close to Allegedly Free Game, which I also hate with a burning vengeance. I don't care how fun it is. I'm not supporting that. And it doesn't help with how many folks keep talking about that game on this thread. I'm sticking to retail games and stuff rather than support nickel and diming of gamers.

As I said in the IRC this afternoon, Shuffle is not like that. It has actually a nice business model in comparison to other self proclaimed "freemium games". You can't really play Shuffle if you don't know how to play puzzle games. You can spend all the money (real money) you want in items, if you can't see "present" and "future" combinations you can't clear the stage. And believe me, there are stages that are pretty difficult even with items bought with in-game money (aka Coins).

Congrats. I'm still scared to do that, either aurora weather will happen or something else knowing my luck.

Just finished the All Night Thing task though, now that that is out of the way I should focus on the "Hatch more eggs than half you bred" achievement..... so I can start unlocking egg data for the Novelties I adopted.

Earlier today I listened to Down With The Sickness by Disturbed on my phone and it's been stuck in my head ever since.
I'm just glad that it's a song that I like, because it sucks when I hear a song that I hate but it gets stuck in my head because it's catchy. pinch.gif

I noticed that I forgot to put this sucker on my post from yesterday:

Only 39 left. grin.gif
*hopes that my dark Arceus hatches shiny but knows that it'll never happen*

AND POKEMON SUPER MYSTERY DUNGEON NEEDS TO COME OUT ALREADY. It's still about 2 months away. crying.gif

Master Common Sense

*peeps in & waves*

Hi all. Looks like I missed a lot in a couple of days. Not sure if I'm up for playing catch-up, either. Got a neck massage today, which was both excruciating and relaxing. End result is the "blech" feeling as all the gunk washes out of my system. Reading will have to wait till the fog clears tomorrow.

Decided to start DotW again. I'll probably be back next week asking for berries for Dedenne. Join the club, right? I'm so jealous of some of you who breeze through it in a couple of days.

I think I saw someone asking about food allergies? Do intolerances count? Milk and I don't get along well, though I can use half-and-half and heavy cream without problems. Fortunately I don't care much for plain milk, unless oreos or tea cookies are involved. I'm kind of glad I have no major food allergies. Pollen allergies are torture enough. XP

Also allergic to cat dander, but I love them so much that I usually just suffer through it for a ouple of hours and pay later. *loves kittens* love.gif

I finished TBD!! for the first time! Woo! Working on Diamonds are Forever right now. I should be done pretty soon, as I've done 55k interactions today and should hopefully get quick click-backs on this Diancie. Your help would still be appreciated, though!

I've already watched two movies today and started a new TV series. I have a problem.

I also tackled the four Kanto badges I was missing earlier. It's easy to level up Pokemon when you have to do 55k more interactions in one day. I wish I'd done more towards the Unova Dex, though...

I noticed somebody earlier mentioned that putting Credits into Pluses at the end of the month is a waste...I wish Honey+ had been filled, because then I could've finally gotten Creationist. (Probably.)

On the topic of An All Night Thing--when I did it, I found it helpful to be on the last step of an Exploration right before midnight. You don't actually have to START all Explorations on the same day, if I remember correctly. I finished Tour of Illusions at about 12:15 a.m. the day I got it, but started it the day before. Incident in Yellow Forest, Mystery Creature of the Ruins, and Sweet Success are also pretty fast, and, if you're willing to wait, Babysitting Adventure has no "Have x people feed [insert Pokemon name here] a [insert Berry type here] Berry" tasks, so it can be finished fast. I think that might actually be my record for fastest Exploration completion.

I stream sometimes. Lemme know if you wanna see. (I suck at randomized Nuzlockes.)

I don't know anyone good enough at art to draw me something creative.

My favorite Pokemon is Metagross.

Ideas for other stuff to put here? PM me.

Still need Pechas, hoping I can manage to finish this task out tomorrow. Thanks for the help, guys.

Azurite is still pretty far behind, so meh. Somewhat frustrating because we have the most eggs hatched, I guess the luck just isn't with us right now.

I managed to get to Mega Gengar on shuffle, but the fully evolved dark/ghost types I've found are really damn hard to catch.

-squint- I haven't reached that stage yet. Then again I've just been going back through and getting S rank on the lower stages to unlock more expert stages and level my pokemon. So far I've unlocked Xerneas, now to just beat/capture it.

In other news I started playing Pikmin. Got it back when I was in college but never got around to playing it (Pokepark was taking up my time.) It's been pretty fun, but I'd be lying if I didn't say it was frustrating at times. Dang pikmin not being able to stay on a bridge so they don't fall in the water and drown or get stuck when I'm running around and end up getting left behind :/ It's like I was given an army of the absolutely dumbest living beings possible, but hey, they helped me recover the massager bit to my ship.

cheri berries for the bird, please~

I haven't been able to post since I've been too tired and occupied with my son. He started going into anaphylactic shock on Sunday. We were eating lunch in the car on the way back from the grocery store, I was having sushi and he wanted some. He's had it before and I gave him salmon sushi. About ten minutes later I saw what I though was a bug bite on his lip but then he started coughing and breaking out more. His lips started swelling and I called 911 we pulled over and I gave him his epi pen. The ambulance took us to the er. He is ok now but that terrified me. He's either allergic to the salmon now or something else that was prepared on the same mat. His allergy testing will have to be redone to find out exactly what he is allergic to. He got a bear from the emts on the ambulance. He cuddles it every night now.

I'm really sorry to hear about your son having to go through that.
I'm just as allergic to some foods as your son is and also go into the same anaphylactic shock when reacting.
I carry an epipen with me everywhere I go.

I hope you find out what he responded to very soon.
I know from my own experience that, once you know exactly what you're allergic to, it's manageable to learn to avoid these types of food, along with learning to say no to unfamiliar foods being offered to you without a parent near to confirm if what you're getting is safe or not. How old is your son? Is he feeling alright again now? That must've been a very scary experience for you as well.

As for the SWSH... I'm on my fourth hunt now. Things are slow without a multiplier but I guess we've been getting spoiled after all those great multipliers to begin with! Anyway, it's distracting me too much to even remember the Pokéhunt haha. x3

He will be two on Halloween. He has the best birthday ever. He's ok now. He just finished his medicine from the er last night. He's a regular happy boy again. He gets to have the epi pen trainer now and he pokes me with it. I think it's less scary for him now. Thank you for your concern.

I'm hoping the rest of this task goes by fast. I got two of the pokemon to get pokerus.

And to answer an earlier question about favorite movies. My favorites are repo the genetic opera, parasomnia, s darko, don't be afraid of the dark, the devil's rejects, the lords of salem, dead silence, the texas chainsaw massacre (1974), the rocky horror picture show, labyrinth, the last unicorn, the cell, mirrormask, the tenth kingdom and trick r treat. Those are the only ones I can remember now.

I was able to catch Regice at 20%, so I got really lucky with it on Shuffle. I decided to buy Attack Power, Moves +5 and Disruption Delay and I still have several coins left, but not enough to splurge on any of the good items.

Heh, my brother was also born on Halloween, and he'll be twenty this year I think...
Wow, I didn't realize he was that old almost already. blink.gif

It's good to hear that your son is fine now. I don't really have any experience with having a allergic reaction to a food, but I can imagine it being a scary experience.

*notices that I have only 1 more berry left to be fed to Dedenne*
*is now tempted to use Odd Incense*

Dang, it's already past 11:00. I should be going to bed now...
But hey, it's the weekend. happy.gif

Looks like Honey+ got a huge boost, thanks whoever did that. I am too poor on Shuffle to ever afford really using any of the boosters...I don't know where all of my coins go. I was looking over my dex and apparently I have most legendaries, minus special formes. I still need to do Trio of Trials and Hidden Ruins to pick up some egg dex info.

Happy Home Designer has consumed my life! I just finished decorating the school and oh my gosh this game is so adorable.

I really hope the level of customization in this translates over to the next main AC game. Can only imagine how pretty our towns would be if we could place furniture and decorations outside that aren't just the various plants and PWPs.

Welp, I finally gave into it and downloaded Shuffle. It's a fun little game, highly addictive, and I'm not sure why I'm failing to catch some of the mons at lower levels. I guess I'll just have to come back later. *le sigh*

Back to back multipliers under 2? I'm a little bit wishing a Plus had been filled up now.

And hopefully today will be the day Dedenne gets filled up with Pechas. Now with Pokerus!

Please and thank you!

My sleep schedule's been a bit off since returning from Japan. Nearly every night I wake up once around 3-5, but mercifully I'm a very heavy sleeper and doesn't take me long to get solid sleep again. Ideally I want to be back to normal soon as I have a wedding reception to attend tomorrow...and work the following day. At least most of my work colleagues are attending the same thing, so they may be a bit lenient re post-reception hangovers...

I was hoping to hatch shiny ghosts too for plate completion, but I've still to find my first one sad.gif
