Celebrating birthdays... hmm, I stopped celebrating a few years ago, but only because it's 5 days after Christmas. And everyone is usually getting ready for New Years. xD But it's okay, just getting a "Happy Birthday" is enough for me. C: As for trinket boxes, I have 9. I open between 20-30 every day, I'd collect a bunch, but I do donate most of my trinkets to users who are trying to collect them. Opening trinket boxes... *shudders* I would so love to start a movement allowing GPX to have an "Open All" button for those boxes. I've been so bad (and yet so click happy) that my boxes are now at... 2,967 total. I so need to hire an assistant just so they could park themselves on my account and then open those boxes. *smirk*
And yay! Thanks, RicFule, for mentioning that there would be a multiplier today. I'm just going to tell myself that it's because you foresaw this that its there.  I'm looking forward to being click crazy again today so that I *might* finish the exploration task (doubt if I can do this today though), gain a boat load more of trinket boxes, and maybe finish this SWSH on a high note. I'd really like a shiny rock, but even if that doesn't come to pass, I'm looking forward to falling back into the GPX swing of things.And I saw we have a birthday today!  *celebrates* Happy Birthday, Sladin! I hope your day is beyond great.For our daughters we allow them to have sleep overs on the Friday night either just before or right after their birthdays. We do dinner, dessert (ice cream and cake), and let them stay up as late as they want so long as they lower their voices after 11 p.m. As for my husband's and my birthdays, that is more like "today's your birthday so, like, happy birthday." LOL We don't even do cards or gifts for each other, though we might (occasionally) go out for dinner or just buy a "shelf" cake at the local store. -------------------- Their futures are so bright they shine

I should probably use another Chance Power and start opening more. I'm still missing 11 July trinkets. Not that I personally can get all of them, but maybe I could get duplicates to trade with. {I had like 400 + the other day, and Used Chance power, knocking some out.} I don't usually do a lot of clicking, so I like to keep a supply handy for the off-chance of a Scavenger Hunt trinket task. Well, technically, it's because it's the weekend of a SWSH, but ... EDIT - I miscounted. EDIT˛ - Chance Power got me a lot of new trinkets, but not the two July ones that my affinity could find. Well, I had a less-than-satisfying SWSH month, but at least I got a Shiny Carbink. Been wanting to do that hunt anyway, so it worked out. Perhaps my Inkay will come before the next hunt. Anyway, congrats Wulves for the SWSH domination! We've finally broken our losing streak!!
 I also had a less-than-satisfying month of Community posting, and it looks like next month is going to be about the same. My work calendar filled up faster than expected, which is always a good thing for a temp worker. I finally got to read back a few (hundred) pages, and saw the new way of picking event winners. Sounds like a much fairer way, since the Community thread is all about being active in a community. Cool little trick on finding out who posted most. And speaking of Community, I know this month was a little rough with numerous rules needing improvement and tweaking, but its really cool seeing everyone come together. Similar interests, but different takes on them.... its just really awesome to read, even when I can't participate. Along those lines..... For those who post when very few are chatting, or for new ones just starting to join the chats, but it seems very few reply.... Keep Posting! Us lurkers are paying attention and listening (reading), and we do care and enjoy hearing your thoughts. Eventually those of us who are shy will be encouraged to post by you! And those of us busy bees with limited time, we really are paying attention. Keep it up!!  Not sure if I'll be able to post again before the thread is locked, to I'm just going ahead to bid Adeiu to July. See y'all in August!
