Congratulations to Sam, who Flare Blitzed the competition right from the beginning! Well done, mate!

Thank you to everybody who voted for my Goodra as well! My heart felt like it was in the back of my throat in the semi-finals (seriously, only three votes ahead of second in that round). I'm so happy to have made it to the Grand Final of a dress-up competition!

I think I speak for everyone when I say we all want to know what Tarbasilisk's Klefki was actually supposed to be.

Congratulations to the winner and semi-finalists! Loved all the dress-ups this contest brought, cannot wait for the next time we can do this again.

I actually figured out that Sam's was the Talonflame due to his posts here and then saw which threads he was lurking during the rounds... just like what Nick was trying to avoid people doing LOL

I also had Matt's pegged as either the drummer or the go kart one without any clues present. haha [s]i know your dress ups too well. does that make me creepy? c_c[s]

I voted for one of your two, but I won't say which one cause I know you both. >.< But yeah.. haha. Grats! :D

Both of your guy's dress-ups were really neat! They definitely deserved being ranked so high in the contest!

I also loved the Go-Kart Sligoo dress-up! That was another very creative use of accessories; I had really high hopes for that one, too.

I, too, am interested in hearing what the Klefki dress-up is supposed to be. My interpretation is one of those multi-purpose pocket knives, but with the tools on a bangle rather than inside a casing.

Anyways, congrats everyone!

And to those who voted for mine, the White Rabbit Bunnelby who was late for his (her) very important date thank you! Obviously it was a Alice in Wonderland theme. I went on a shiny hunt just to make this reference when the contest was announced and was happy I made it as far as I did!


My personal favorite of the contest was Tarbasilisk's; the one I kept fondly calling Death Wheel Klefki xD

Congratulations to Sam on winning the dress-up contest! Your entry reminded me of the song "Rise Like a Phoenix" (the "controversial" but fantastic song that won the Eurovision 2014 contest, for those who are unfamiliar) for some reason every time I saw it in the voting threads. I kind of thought of that song as your Talonflame's theme song.

Congratulations to the others in the finals as well. Now that I've mentioned the above song, I'm starting to see the other three finalists as part of some type of musical ensemble -- Sam's Talonflame as the lead singer, Matt's Goodra as the drummer, m190049's Spritzee doing some opera verse in the bridge, and Tarbasilisk's Klefki playing the Cello (because I keep seeing that fishing pole as a bow).
I think I need to go to bed and get some sleep before I have even more weird thoughts...

I think everyone deserves a pat on their back for designing such awesome dress-ups this year. Sometimes, it was really difficult to only be able to select a limited number of entries in my vote because there were so many that I liked.


And yes, I too want to know the idea/theme behind Tarbasilisk's Klefki's dressup.


EDIT: Aw, thanks you guys for the sweet comments on my dress-up on the previous page. I would've said thanks earlier but I had a mid-term and two papers due yesterday so I was trying not to post on the forums.

Mine was the sliggoo riding a go kart! I'm happy I was able to get to the semi-finals. I really didn't expect to get this far. I loved all of the dress ups in the contest (My favorite might be the goodra playing the drum!) Good job everyone!

This was actually pretty fun. I was pretty surprised my dress up got third place. (mine was the greninja thief)

I hope we have more dress up contest in the future, seeing how fun this was I'm kind of sad they have been so rare in the past.

I'm wondering if maybe my entry would have scored even higher if it had been a Honedge rather than an Aegislash...
Ah, well. This was a good result!

Grats to Sam and the rest of the finalists. I actually knew that the Talonflame was Sam's since Round 2 because I could check that it was "unable to be viewed due to being in a contest" from the Shine Recorder. Tbh tho before finding that out, I figured that it was made by someone from KotRT for another particular KotRT member who's quite fond of Fletchling and its evo line.

Mine was the parasailing Inkay runner-up to the drumming Goodra in the semi-finals. I had the idea to do something with a topsy-turvy Inkay. A parachute seemed to fit it, which led to parasailing from a boat. Thanks, everyone who voted for it!

Congrats to all the winners, semi-finalists, and everyone else who placed! Mine was the shiny Yveltal. I was thinking it'd get past one round, but I didn't expect to be a semi-finalist. Yaaaaaay.

Ah Sam, I must say, you really did kick the accessorized butts of many a dressup :P

Congrats to Matt and m1's Spritzee Plague Doctor dressup. Was a personal favourite of mine from the start too!
Mine was through a combination of Fawkes from Harry Potter (original design had flames all over it) and because there wasn't anything to show 'ash' then I just improvised and it came out like a flare blitz thing xD
