A shiny electrode self-destructed on me in magma base but I started my emerald and found shiny aron.

One of the first pokemon I found in my new emerald file was a shiny Zigzagoon. She has now evolved and I plan on training her to LV 100, just to say that I have a Lv 100 shiny .

In Leaf Green, I was wandering around Berry Forest for... some reason that I can't remember.



Needless to say, I caught it and made room for it on my team, evolving it into a Victreebel. I plan on transferring it to Diamond or Platinum eventually.

The other day I was going through Victory Road in Leaf Green and I found and caught a shiny Machop. I had already had a machop but YAYZ! I wish I had room to train him, but alas my team is full and very well rounded for the Elite four. Plus they are ten levels away from being ready and I can't bare to give anyone up for my Machop.
I named him The Rock after Duane 'The Rock' Johnson because he's brown like an African American and The Rock was a wrestler so it fit

I once saw a shiny Electrike in my first time playing Ruby and it being my first time I had been more used to the shiney animation of the jhoto games so I cocked my head for a moment noticing it was dark blue but thought I might have been seeing things and ran from it. IDIOT

Not me, but my friend has Shiny Absol and Mightyena.

I have never had any Gameboy, and DS, nothing at all... But i had donwloaded them and played them on computer. I was playing Leaf Green (to the League, there i stopped), Fire red (woah, i don't ever know where did i stop), Emerald (right before League) and that's all maybe... (from the main games)
Statred playing pearl, but it ended up in the totally start.

But my friend had Leaf Green, and he was just going somewhere, on the 4th Island I think and he just got into water... When there a Pokemon attacked him! It was Shiny Tentacruel, that he succesfully caught into Ultra ball.

I personally never had caught a shiny T^T

I found a shiny Vulpix in the Battle Pyramid on Emerald >< Of course my first shiny I find is in one of the very few places where you wouldn't be able to catch it... Then I found a shiny Arcanine in the Battle Factory at level 100. >< bah!! My second shiny I wouldn't be able to even try to catch either!! >< Oh and I heard from this girl who said that a cheat for catching shiny Pokemon on the GBA games was to encounter the same Pokemon 40 times in a row... I've tried it twice, once I ran into 100 of the same pokemon all in a row, that one didn't work, then I went to the Artisan Cave and tried to find a shiny Smeargle but that didn't work either... Does the cheat even work peoplez???? Do you have to use it in a normal route/place where a different Pokemon could, at any time, force you to restart your quest for the shiny Pokemon of your choice???? Again, this girl said that it works and she *supposedly* has 500 billion shinies... in which every box of every Pokemon game she owns has all shinies in it.

i caught 3 times a shiny odish in saphire, and a shiny ditto in fire red

Leafgreen: Zubat (WWWHHYHYYY!?!?!!?!?) I think some others, but I don't remember lol played LG alot.
FireRed: None
Emerald: I think at least one, but I don't remember.
Found Geodude, Psyduck and others in Pearl. I've found man shiny Pokemon but I forget them all. I had a shiny Garchomp and Hippowdon.

This generation was the first time I caught a shiny {Excluding Red Gyrados because lol}

I remember that I was in Victory Road on my first playthrough {Or second? I'm not QUITE sure} and I came across a shiny Medicham.
At the time, I didn't even know what it was, only that it was a different colour and probably rare, so I caught it. I became a mascot of sorts on my team for a while. Then, a few years later when I discovered the internet, I told my friend about my 'blue Medicham', and she confirmed it to be a shiny. After that I looked it up, and...well, at least then I knew it was definitely rare.


Later one, I ended up finding a shiny Mediete in Pearl, which just made me laugh.
I seem to attract them.

Well, all of my shiny Pokemon I caught was 100% legit. In Fire Red, I was still a newbie on the whole Pokemon thing and was playing with my friend in the Safari Zone to see who can get a Chansey 1st. In my secret spot, I encountered a shiny Nidoran♀. I successfully caught it. I evolved it and used a moon stone to get a shiny Nidoqueen. Later, as I mentioned I was a newbie, I started a new game and bye-bye shiny Nidoqueen. In Ruby, I went to the Safari Zone at midnight to get a Pikachu with a Light Ball. Instead, I encountered a shiny Rhyhorn. I caught it in my 2nd Safari Ball! Later, I evolved it. Then, in Ruby again, I was going to the abandoned ship when a shiny Tentacool appeared. I had only high-level pokemon and 3 Ultra Ball(s) and the Master Ball so I threw 2 Ultra Balls. I caught it on the 3rd one. Then, I evolved it and trained it to lv.100, like my shiny Rhydon. Later, I bought an Emerald in the flea market. There was only hacked Pokemon so I started a new game. After getting all the badges, I went to the Victory Road where I encountered a shiny Hariyama (it was midnight in New Year's day). Luckily, I caught it with 1 Ultra Ball full health and it didn't used whirlwind. Finally, my friend pais me $10 to capture all the legends in Fire Red. While I caught the last one (mewtwo), I didn't had a Pokemon with Dig or an Escape Rod so I went to get out the old fashion way when all of a sudden, a shiny Ditto appeared! I let it transformed into a shiny horsea, which was in my friend's party. After that,, I threw an Ultra Ball and caught it! Then, I traded it to my Ruby, where all my shinies where. Painfully, my friend asked me to trade with him my Charmander that I hatched from an egg and while my Ruby game was saving, all of a sudden, It froze. I got worried and Resetted my game. While crying, my shinies where deleted!!!!! Ater what my friend's game did, I broke his game in pieces and flushed it down the toilet. Till this day, he owes me a 100% fully legit shiny Rhyhorn, Tentacruel, Hariyama, and Ditto. Then, i found my Leaf Green that my cousin lost. I decided to play that game since my friend is spending the whole Vacation trying to get all those shinies back. I passed the Elite 4. Then, I told my cousin that lost the game to help me find a Pokemon with stars. At first, I took her to Route 1. Then, I told her that I'll give her $20 if she finds a Pokemon with stars coming out. I showed her how by going to the battle tower in Leaf Green and battling the trainer with the shiny Espeon. Then she knew what was a shiny. Then, I took her back to Route 1 and to my Surprise, she encountered a shiny Pidgey!!!O_O I caught it with 3 Luxury balls. Then, I evolved it to a Pidgeotto then a Pidgeot. After training it on the Elite 4 to lv.100, I'm ready for my shinies from my friend and that it IS possible to find a shiny in 3 months or less.

I was getting fed up of the grasses on cycling roads always running into Elektrikes... then I'm like OH MY GOD

I was playing Leafgreen the other day, on my way to Berry Forest to catch a Hypno, when I ran into a Pidgey...

Yeah I KO'd a shiney Pidgey.

I'm SRing for a shiny Torchic right now in Emerald.

I found a shiny Ditto in FireRed.

I caught a shiny Hoppip in one of the 1st gen remakes. Cannot for the life of me remember which one, though.
